If it gets 120hz I’m 100% buying it. I don’t care about oled, I’m fine with the lcd. Just want 120hz
@@walmartpimp2 oled has pwm. That means when you use your iPad at night, you will get maximum brightness in your eyes in a pulsatile manner. How is that positive? 😅
@@walmartpimp2 at least with lcd, when you turn down the brightness at night, it’s ACTUALLY less brightness. Not a screen which has maximum brightness or is turned off completely (oled).
@@brutfaixa4296 No, just no. LCD is an inferior technology. I have owned almost ever flagship iPad, and my OLED 13" iPad Pro 7, destroys the Mini LED 12.9" iPad Pro 6 I owned before. I'll settle for a Mini LED iPad mini with pro motion, but regular LCD is out of the question.
@@brutfaixa4296 What are you talking about. Are you seriously under the assumption that OLED’s can’t dim between max brightness and the screen being off? OLED can dim too, it’s always been able to do that. My M4 13” iPad Pro 7 has a way better looking screen that the mini LED screen on my previous M2 12.9” iPad Pro 6.

I want them to upgrade the battery in iPad Mini the iPad mini 6 love it but the battery is only 8 hours and drains so fast I carry a charger with me all the time when traveling. All the new chip sounds amazing will be upgrading even though iPad mini 6 was a Christmas gift from my parents. Does any one have battery issues with iPad mini 6 . This video is great . I hope they upgrade storage to 64 GB is to low for apps that’s what have on my mini so storage goes for apps and runs slow at times because of this

I love the iPad mini and hoping the mini stays small and lightweight to be used as a kindle but with cellular also used as a phone ,, I have older iPad mini love size and capabilities ..
Can’t wait for this new iPad Mini. I gave my iPad mini 6 to my wife and got an M1 iPad Air 5. I’ve found that I really miss the form factor of the Mini and I don’t use my iPad Air near as much as I did my Mini.
Currently using a 5th Gen iPad Mini. The Mini is the form factor that works for me - don't need anything MacBook or iPad Pro sized - so I'm waiting (very) impatiently for the new one.

It could be that you’re mixing up certain leaks cause I think it would make sense if they made two different models of the iPad mini, a pro model and a normal model. I say this because we now have a 13” pro, and air. We have an 11” pro and air. And now we could have an 8” pro and mini. I think this might be the direction the iPad lineup is going in.
I will be honest it is tricky... Maybe Apple will bring out a Pro Mini and normal... but time will show us in leaks.
Remember 4 years ago we had leaks of a new design Mac Mini but in fact that turned out to the Mac Studio and we only found that out withing about 10 days before the announcement
I’ve always said Apple should have a basic and pro version of each of their iPad models - will make it so much easier to choose. The phones are always basic n mini n xl, why not the same for the iPad? iPad basic, iPad xl, iPad mini, and a pro version of each

Thanks for posting this! I was going to buy the M4 11" iPad Pro but love the supreme portability of my iPad Mini 6 but just wished it had more storage and a ProMotion display.

I’m tired of press reports saying there will be no IPad mini, then press reports saying Apple has decided to launch an IPad Mini 7. Is there anybody who can clear this up?
Best case scenario if this happens. I've been begging for this more pro featured mini experience for a while. I'd gladly pay a little extra to get it. I'd be fine with the A17 Pro SoC, 128GB or 256GB as the starting storage, and for the love of all that is holy, a better camera. As for the front facing camera, I think moving it to the long edge is not in the favor of the mini as much as it is in the favor of the larger ipads. I myself rarely use my mini in landscape mode unless its just on my desk charging, and even then I usually just have it upside down with the cable coming out the top. Rather than on it's side.
If it does get the A18 pro SoC it will be kinda strange if the Mini is more performant than my iphone pro max...

Looks like a Mini 7 is in my future, especially after I ordered a Mini 6 in May and the order got cancelled by AT&T.

However if in just over a year the AV Air might drop I might wait 1 more year for that....
I’m still disappointed over Apple choosing WiFi6E for the premium performance and priced iPad Pros. Hopefully moving forward WiFi7 will be the standard, especially starting with the premium performance and priced iPhone 16 Pros.

Been saving up to $1k for the next mini line up, as long as it will got the 120hz refresh rate, i dont mind if it with an standart OLED, or even still with LCD, just please, move on from 60hz.

Why OLED is always mentioned as upgrade? A lot of people has eyes pain after long usage of OLED, which is not an issue for IPS displays at all.

Given how incredible the new ipad's dual-layer oled display is, and how painful the price is, if they put that in the mini at a "reasonable" cost I would be all over it. Beyond that though, the M4 in the ipad isn't really needed. It's in the ipad but not the macbook yet...
I don't know if I should be interested in a bionic ipad mini. I mean, I'm sure it's nice, but I don't know if it will be a serious upgrade to anything that's come out in recent years. The Pro might be if it comes with display upgrades (that Android tablets have had for years) but I'm sure it will be expensive.

It would be a great fir consumers if they give access the mac os for ipad but they wouldn't do that, it will increase the iPad sells but it will decrease the MacBook sells...

I am seriously looking into ditching all Mac products other than the Apple Watch, iPhone and iPad Mini. Looking into going totally for Surface Pro and Windows for serious laptop and desktop type things. The Surface Pro 11 looks to be great for sketching/painting as well as computing. The iPad Pro is a great sketching product but really just a clunky alternative as a laptop replacement. I will be testing the Surface Pro 8 and iPad Pro 12.9 2018 separately as stand alone computers to find out if that is the direction I should go in the future. So far the Surface Pro looks to be the sweet spot. That way I will have Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad Mini, Surface Pro 11+ and maybe still a Windows desktop if needed.

I dont care to much for specifics on the processor, whether it's a m1, m2, A17 pro, etc. same thing with the LCD vs OLED. I just want 120hz, a "current processor. Maybe a cool keyboard too.
Would love to get it, but I got ipp 12.9 m1 and I tried iPad mini 6 gen (even with 5G).
But while it was nice for toilet use and you could fit it into the pockets in the jacket.
I would reach for my phone and for everything else I grabbed a iPad Pro 12.9 due to better screen and bigger size for movie watching.
When I did business with clients I loved it, to show them the projects.
Since I would be scared to let them hold my iPP 12.9.
But then I quit that job and next one provided me with an iPad 10 gen and this was more useful for client use.

An a 17/18pro in the ipad mini would be amazing. That would give it all the ai and gaming features that are currently available.
I've tried to like the mini, I have owned two of them, but with my iPhone Max always handy, it not only feels redundant, but also awkward to walk around with two very similar size devices. I do not even believe it has a reason to exist anymore, if it ever did.It's always good to have choice but I am certain they do not sell very many of these things.
I may get this instead of the Apple Watch series 10/X actually as my iPad is actually quite old.

If it gets anything higher than 60hz refresh rate I'll be in. Even 90hz would be enough, 60 hz is just way too choppy for a screen bigger than a phone

An iPad Mini Pro with ONE or TWO terabytes would literally change the game for us… Also, with the PRO designate, it would be nice if the cameras on the back mirrored that of the iPhone Pro series. All PRO model iPads should be able to capture Spatial content… OLED would be nice, and an M chip would be nicer if they could figure out the power consumption…
