Got this for christmas from my gf - incredibly scent, classic french perfumery. I don't agree that it doesn't change much though - from the opening of chocolatey patchouli, followed right away by that spiciness (that to me smells a lot like cardamom), to the more animalic and resinous dry-down - my impression has been that it's got very distinct transitions, not linear at all IMO. Nice review, subscribed.
Great house FJ. You may want to get your nose on Terasse a st. Germain., and Stairway to Heaven. The way you described that selection I know it's got to be a real banger!!! I definitely got to sample that piece, of may later do a blind buy.
