Patchouli Noir by Il Profumo is a great "chocolate cakey" patchouli, that has a unique poppy seed note that you can definitely pick up. It doesn't float off my skin like Psychedelic, but it definitely stays present for awhile. I don't think it gets enough love & attention. It has 5stars by frag heads on Lucky Scent. Thanks for your vids, I dig your whole vibe & actually share the same taste in scents. Rosendo Mateu is one of my top houses too, #4 is slept on. One ✌️💀🖤

Thank you for this video! I don't know if I missed it, but where did you get this for $40? Or was that a 2019 price? That seems like an absolute steal, even for the EDP. I'm just getting into fragrance, been trying my luck with Scentbird, just so I can find out what I like. Shalimar is definitely one that I must have. I just don't want to pay $100+ if I don't have to, haha. Thanks again!

I'm a woman in my 30s, and I'm only just now getting into fragrances thanks to Shalimar. I blind bought it because it kept getting mentioned in movies/TV, so I was curious. At first, I didn't think I much cared for it, but I kept wearing it whenever I watched old movies, and it became very comforting to me. I really hope they release a special 100-year edition bottle next year.

Halfeti Cedar for the fall mate. Mister sam is spicy spicy spicy. It gets noticed, if you don't like attention don't get this but I love it. Cumin doubles down on the opening and tobacco and petunia long lasts. 10 hrs. Great scent

It's definitely a masculine Floral musky fragrance 🔥 I'm more prone to the animatic smells as well

At first I thought Unutamam was horrible but as I got more comfortable with animalis, I liked it more and more. The castoreum comes out swinging but it calms down quickly into something super fresh. I'd still be a lil nervous about wearing it out lol.

FM genius is that he let the perfumers fully lean into their creativity, it wasn't about mass appeal. MFaW was a crazy ride for me. I felt like it was hitting so many olfactory nerves at the same time i just couldn't. It is a master work for sure though. Oddly, i find that Byredo Oud Immortel has that pineapple accord like MFaW.

@FragranceJourney01 not sure if you’ve covered this in a more recent video by chance, but have you tried the Royal Arabian version of this? I love the original version but I’m curious on how it compares.

A Lot Late.. Just Put In My Collection.. Spot On ..

I might be biased but my favorite is #1 for extreme heat weather (think 90 degrees or more, tropical islands) Nothing better that this after a refreshing shower to feel crisp and clean. Sooo much citrus and tea, and the musk is blended just perfectly. Never could get onboard with #5 due to the gasoline, rubber scent. I do like the latest released of 1970.

Xerrjof quality is not high quality you can easily pick up on synthetic notes in 60 seconds on skin..

To not smell aventus is wild aventus birth so many other fragrances that copied its original dna. That’s wild aventus is king for a reason.
