If there is something wrong on your on your calculator click SHIFT then click 9 which will give you 3 options click on the 3rd option so click the number 3 after that click the equals button then the AC hope that will help
Thank you this helped me, i was rushing here and the other videos were like 5 mins long and i only have 15 mins, they also talk way too much and doesn’t get to the point already
Great Video explaining the in's and out's of Casio's method of displaying fractions to mixed numbers. I have a significantly different model, and this covered the operations exactly! Now for a burning question. . . Why is the default display mode on some (not all) Casio models (fx-991ES Plus, for example) improper fractions?? Who ever uses that on a regular basis?? No one! Decimals should be primary, with secondary mode being mixed numbers which is helpful identifying proper drill bit sizing as well as rulers, sockets, and wrenches. Improper fractions are never used in real world cases. Only in a textbook are improper fractions taught and as a result, may show up on a test.
Didn’t help as when I press the button after shift, it doesn’t come up as the model. Sorry! And yes, I’m still up at 12 at night doing homework and I have been doing homework for he past 3 hours.. 🙁
+Shantelle Lai There should be an option in the setup menu if you scroll down. You have a choice to display fractions either as improper d/c or mixed a b/c
The Calculator Guide it’s CASIO fx-260. I managed to find another button that does the same thing though. I just had to click shift then the fraction button for it to go into improper fractions.
