actually we did think abt the no bias thing, normally in Kpop groups we see one or two members who are more prominent
but we felt with NewJeans they are all equally talented and even the styling felt intended to support this too, nobody stands out cause everyone stands out!
They have the best debute ever! Their mvs actually have storytelling with catchy choreography. Their sounds and music are diffrent. They are just that group who will be the next biggest name in kpop. They are dominating korea and international music charts, their popularity is insane.😂

NewJeans is a movement. They are the trendsetter and their impact can be felt throughout the entire Kpop industry, with other group's debuts and comebacks going for a more minimalist style similar to what NewJeans is doing.

Other kpop companies try to fit their talents into certain molds to be trendy, like become swaggers or cvnty. But NewJeans concept revolves around being natural teenagers. There are less force-fitting and it reflects in their music, performances, and interviews.
Their agency, Ador also feels like a company of artists more than business employees. Sonically and visually, they feel very artsy and tasteful.

the minimalism definitely feel like an intentional decision-and executed really well
the girls also felt very unbothered and cool, like saying “here’s our music, if you like it, Great! if not, also fine!”

when I first saw Hanni on my fyp I was already captivated by her dance, voice and visual. I watch all her fancam for almost 1 hour no wonder she is my bias but when i saw other members i started standing NewJeans. they got me into kpop only NewJeans will i stan.
to add some, their music style bring so much nostalgia to me as a 90's kid.

Newjeans they like real musicians in kpop ,especially girls group , they has real good vocals, good dance and full of visuals ,also 4 of them having contributed lyrics in their hits song. They still growing up, in the future of NJ ,we looking forward it

NewJeans is like ADOR's art project that just so happens to take the form of a kpop group. Their debut EP had a very clear "teenage girl highschool crush" type of concept with their lyrics, but the music and the choreography was somehow slightly different than typical kpop groups, while at the same time not being too obviously catered for western audiences, as some songs/groups tend to do.
But with the Get Up EP, ADOR is showing that they want to take a more artistic direction with NewJeans, kind of disregarding a lot of the kpop norms. Cool With You is probably the best example of this. The smooth electropop sound and the contemporary/lyrical choreography are so different than what any other kpop group is doing, on top of having an incredibly well produced MV featuring an emotional storyline and one of the most relevant actresses in Korea right now.
Plus, all of that is without even mentioning how well the girls actually perform, in both dance and vocals. All very talented and beautiful and marketable to all audiences.
Basically, ADOR is doing an excellent job with the artistic direction, always keeping it fresh an different, while NewJeans themselves are doing an excellent job executing the concepts.

I absolutely love the group! They're all sensational. My hope and prayer is that they maintain a balance between work and fun. That they are able to get as much rest as they need so that their light never burns out.

New jeans is so good I love how they are ahead of the trend curve they are leading the trend with their 90s and Y2K sound. I can't stand the other groups still incorporating Spanish in their songs it's so cheesy and over done.. . That cringey trend was overrated like 10 years ago

Nobody is doing it like them these days. Love em or hate em, theres no denying you can distinguish their songs from the bunch which is impressive considering many groups take years to develop that sort of musical identity and brand, with some not even reaching that at all. I say that as a veteran kpop enjoyer. Wishing the best for th3s3 girls. They def deserve all the commercial success that they have.

Before discovering K-POP, I had only heard of a few groups like Blackpink. However, when I listened to their music, it didn't appeal to me as it felt too flashy and loud for my taste. The frequent changes between rap and vocals, as well as the language barrier, didn't help either. It was only after discovering NewJeans that I started to appreciate K-pop music more. Their songs are smooth, laidback, and melodious, and the English lyrics made it easier for me to connect with their music. Their MVs are also great, and their music consistently stays within the same genre. They have now become one of my favorite groups. I have also started listening to XG, a new Japanese/global group that I really enjoy. Currently, NewJeans and XG are the only two K/J-pop groups in my playlist. 😊
we feel that NewJeans music are more Pop than Kpop and that’s why it’s digested much easily

My husband felt the same about BP. I’m a Blink and thank them for getting me into K-Pop, but if I’m to be honest, it was more for their personalities (and Lisa’s dancing) than their songs. NWJNS is music I actually enjoy listening to on the regular, and even my husband can’t stop singing their songs.
XG can’t decide if they’re Kpop, Jpop, hip hop, or whatever, but they’re using the Kpop platform to fool Kpop fans and to gain popularity. Can’t even compare New Jeans to XG. New Jeans is special in all respects.
@@JohnLee-db9zt No question of comparing them. XG does their own thing & NewJeans theirs. And both are really good at what they're doing. That's what I like about them. You can stan a group without bringing down others. Nobody is forcing you to follow them or their music.

They have now won Artist of the year for Mama & MMA awards...plus Ditto was also song of the year for Mama, MMA & AAA a few weeks ago....They have 7 Deasangs...the most for 4th Gen group....They recently dropped a remix album...originally i stan IVE but fully converted to NewJeans as their songs so likeable & retro...suitbale for a mid even adult like myself❤❤

They didn't go for usual "roles" like main vocalist, main dancer etc. Which is why no member feels more prominent than others. Everyone is equally appreciated because of their raw talent. There's no prejudice. Pre-defined roles could've caused unnecessary prejudice.

@@KPOPNook Also when Newjeans perform, they don't feel like a bunch of kpop idols performing on the stage. They feel like a bunch of friends having fun on the stage.
A big reason is that they tend to make a lot of eye contacts with each other. While most kpop choreographies focus on eye contact with the audience, newjeans members not only make eye contact with the audience but also with themselves. Which showcases their chemistry and friendship.
they are comfortable on the stage and it makes the viewer feels very comfortable watching them 💕

NewJeans is just ONE OF A KIND. They're so Unique. Their Debut is INSANELY GOOD. I stan IZ*ONE b4 and after their disbandment, it made me hurt so bad but after NewJeans debuted out of nowhere, they made me listen to Kpop again.

what i like about NJ is that their music just feels and sounds more real. It's not full of heavy beat drops but back to basics with good melodies. Then they do unique arrangement performances like IU's celebrity and Ditto which makes each member shine.
good observation! Agree that their music sounds more natural. To several of our team, their music sounds more pop(that are sang in korean) than Kpop. and that makes it easily digested even by non-kpop listener

Despite some of the controversies being associated with Min Hee Jin, no one can deny that she is a genius when it comes to concepts and making iconic groups.
It seems that she has really perfected her craft and took it to another level in Ador. More importantly, whatever shackles that held her down while she was at SM are now gone and have complete creative freedom.

It's funny how people forget that New jeans debuted in the mist of the Lesserafim/Garam scandal. That's very common for big companies to do. They try to make people forget about current scandals by debuting another group. It happened with Red Velvet's Irene scandal... Aespa debuted while that scandal was hot.
It's all about timing. YG is having big issues with resigning Blackpink... which is why we haven't heard much about Baby Monster debuting. Although it wouldn't surprise me if BM very quickly without much advance notice to help people forget about BP in the likely situation that BP doesn't resign.

They have sang live on various shows, and they all have incredible voices. When Hyein sang live on IU's Pallette, I thought IU was gonna fall off her chair in astonishment. She couldn't stop praising Hyein's live voice.
