Would you recommend upgrading to 11 on 2019 Macbook Air 8 GB , 128 GB SSD? I currently have windows 10 installed via bootcamp and its working fine.
Yes should work fine but I’d say stay on 10
thanks , out of curiosity , I ended up installing 11 and it works fine with your instructions, with one little caveat, the phone link for iOS doesn't work , it refuses to connect. I may go back to 10 as you suggested as the major driver to try 11 was iPhone integration.
Thank you! I just have a question:
Would this work on a iMac 2017?
It should however I cannot guarantee it
Would you be able to do a video on how to upgrade from 21H2 to 22H2?
After loads of request I’ll be releasing a video on how to do this from the current 21H2, give me a few days and it should be out next week
@@themacintoshguide thank you
@@themacintoshguideplease the Google drive link you didn’t share it
@@themacintoshguide thanks dude you do this for educational purposes and good and real content from you
@@HealthyHabitsHub22 its in the description 🫥
After this upgrade, are you gonna have problems when you do a windows update?
You can’t upgrade to 22h2
hey chef is there a way to use bootcamp without usb ? On newer models like yours it’s by default but my mac (2012) requires a usb before showing the partition step
Unfortunately not
@@themacintoshguide shame, thanks tho
Thanks bro it worked very nicely ...... But How to get into mac os again? Please explain 🙏🏻👍🏻 just explain how to switch between them. thankyou
Hold options key when booting the mac
I have followed your tutorial but I’m stock in 3:40. It stock in 0% and then it tell me my device ran into problem and need to restart .what should I do
Stick with Windows 10
Edit 20 minutes now :
I've tried to read some tutorial online and found a solution to install the win11 iso in usb using rufus tool then opening the setup icon and it went okay
I've tried all what you did exactly and i got the boring message "sorry we're having trouble determining if your pc can run windows 11" when running the "windows 11 upgrade" and selecting 'win 11 22H2 englishX64"
Does the problem of the iso i chosen or what ? My MacBook pro 2019 i7
Can i just run the iso setup and continue upgrading the windows without this tool ?
Plus thank you so much my friend for this great episode ❤
You can however it seems Microsoft is now patching this
Please re share the windows 11 21H2 folder it says maximum downloads reached on the google drive folder that you shared, I am currently downloading 22h2 for windows 11 so hopefully it will work but please share. Awesome video by the way !
Please use windows 10 for now
@@themacintoshguide mate what
Man it’s awesome ❤
I have done the steps ended up opening windows 11 after upgrade the desktop got my file but I can use any of them any help?
My suggestion would be to stick with windows 10 as Microsoft is patching this
Hi, Did You Install Windows In Same Hard drive ? Can we use same hard drive to run windows and mac os ?
Just partition
Hey there, have you got a german Iso from the image 21H2? thx
I don’t sorry
It is possible to install windows 11 directly using boot camp in intel mac? or is necessary install windows 10 first and update after?
No it’s not
Is apple making intel macbooks slower with macos? If so, what version of the system is being affected? Or all?
2-3 OS’s later
So it worked... sort of. For some reason, in Windows 11, my taskbar is completely blank, save for the program icons in the tray in the bottom right. I've looked through every possible fix for this (as it's not exclusive to boot camp installations of 11) and nothing's working, so I rolled back to 10. I'm apprehensive to try again for the same issue to come up, and I'm curious if it's user error, a known bug with an easy fix, or something else. Any ideas?
Possibly Microsoft have patched it on some machines. It doesn’t play well with every mac
does this affect the performance of the macbook much or not? I'm not sure if I should do it as I have bootcamp on my 12 year old Macbook Air 13 inch (from 2012).
Not really
can anybody check if this is worth doing and if it can impact gaming experience on a mac and make it worse thann it could be like losing potentia.
No, it is a 2020 model. There are two types of this MacBook. Not only is there an Apple Silicon version, a few months ago there was an Intel Core i9 version
Forgot to mention, I also choose English International as well
Yes I’m aware, I’ve mentioned this already in the video, as I did mine on my intel i9 version, and I have done a video of parallels on apple silicon. Language won’t make a difference but it’s drivers
Hi can you help me please please when I get to the stage where I’m creating the bootable usb with the iso everything is ok until the reboot and then it just loads back to Mac OS even when I hold options there is nothing bootable for windows , tried multiple times with different usb sticks , WHAT AM I MISSING In disk utility the usb shows as bootable “NO” not sure if related . Running Sonoma 14.3.1 via open core on mbp 15 inch mid 2010 😎
It means the USB stick isn’t compatible
@@themacintoshguide thank you I got the windows drive to show in the end by holding escape at startup instead of options, now I have made it into windows when I select the drive to install to it says that “on efi systems windows can only be installed to gpt” would appreciate any advise , p.s love the videos and interactions cheers
As of Dec 4 2023 can confirm it still works
It won’t let me open the software to do it because it says it is unsupported
Bootcamp? Probably because you’re on Apple silicon
Do i need to keep the usb drive with the downloaded file or can i delete it after its install?
Can remove it
So I'm reading comments everywhere saying don't try this anymore cause things were patched by Microsoft. What was patched?
If we want to get to 22H2 is this step #1 and we still need to find other guides to go from Win11 21H2 -> Win11 22H2?
Curious where the state of things are on this. A lot of people saying eGPU works better on the new 22H2 for 2016-2020 Intel based macs.
Personally I’d stay on windows 10, but the experience of updating is hit or miss. I’ve not had an issue updating to 22H2 but some aren’t able to
I have a macbook pro 15 2019 i9. Can I directly install Windows 11? Or is it necessary to install Windows 10 and then upgrade to 11? Can I use a modified Windows 11 like Ghost Specter? (either direct installation or subsequent upgrade)
Nope
Have you tried changing the Windows 10 wim file to that of Windows 11? I saw a tutorial teaching how to do it.
sir please give me a solution for macbook air m1
You need to buy parallels desktop, I did a video on it
@@themacintoshguide i have parallels desktop but it does not use the full power of my mac

Hello Bro, a BIG help from you. I was able to install WINDOWS 11 in my intel MacBook Pro 2020 model.
One question - My apple Magic Mouse 2 is not working with the windows ? How to fix that ? Please do guide me.
Sorry I don’t have a Magic Mouse to be able to help here
@@themacintoshguide no problems bro. Your this video was already so helpful. I will check myself on Magic Mouse. Thats fine.
I have a 2022 MacBook Pro and for some reason it says my Mac doesn't support bootcamp any help?
Only intel machines can use bootcamp
Follow every step for my 2017 iMac 27" (i5). Window 10 was okay. But at the last bit, it stated it failed to install Window 11. Tried twice. Something to do with the updates.
Have you done Apple software update in windows?
What is the problem in installing windows 11 iso immediately?
There are some issues with it due to the TPM issue
Getting stuck at installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during INSTALL_UPDATES. Any ideas?
Might be denied via Microsoft side
Bro please tell me can i switch back to mac os easily? And can i delete windows and used mac normally?😊
Yes
if u wanna switch back to macOS then restart windows then hold the option key for about 10 secs then it will give u 2 option to go to macOS or windows
You are a god! Thank you so much!!!
Glad it worked for you
