Just wanna throw a few things. As an invader, don't expect fair fight or anyone to humor your want for a 1v1. If people are co op'ing through the game, and you invade, they are not gankers. You are between them and the boss wall. It's a different thing entirely if someone is deliberately waiting for invaders with summons. Usually they will have a spot they stay at, never too far from a site of grace or a distance away from any enemies or any field bosses. Those are two different things. Co op'ers are NOT gankers. Also, damn, ain't seen a blue all this time and you took the only two blues that ever existed.
Being a blue is kind of a pain in the ass in this game, at least in my experience. I suppose it's always been this way, but with the way the open world is, you could get summoned right in front of some hostile mobs and a mile and a half away from the host, with the invader between you and them. I've been summoned to defend 5 worlds, and each time I get ganked by the invader and hostile mobs at the same time. That's just been my experience, though.

However, since the dawn of invasions, people expect the person they invade to humor their desire for a duel. Of which if they don't, if they are instead just co op'ing, they call it ganking. No worries for getting in the way of jolly cooperation. Just good ole dueling fight clubs. Can't make everyone happy, people always find an excuse despite being provided solutions.

I can count on both hands the number of people who have tried to invade my host while running through a dungeon with them and the invader just gets absolutely wrecked since it's usually going to be 2v1 or 3v1. I have seen a 3v1 go sour on the ball bridge in Raya Lucaria because the dipshit lured us to jump onto the bridge and we all literally tanked the hit from the ball except for the host. It was hilarious
You can't invade a solo invader unless they lure. Invading ONLY works against co-op players. Solo players can never be invaded unless they actively taunter's tongue.
If you want 1v1 just to fight make the invader come to you the church at mountain tops will 100% get you a fight every time spent the entire day pvping gained around 900k souls by playing it fun times
There's is a time when im helping my friend with some dungeon's boss and getting invaded, my friend get dissapointed and he said "come on dude why invading me, i'm already suffering with the boss and my workload. Give me a break". And he tell me to gank...welp it cant be helped, he want to play the game but the work doesnt allow him.
Well invaders know that its going to be at least a 2v1 9/10 times now. So with them KNOWINGLY invading into a gank they can stop playing like cowards. This video is great, he didnt run away and if that mages conection werent dogcrap he couldve won

I like to lure in attackers and disguise myself as a tree and when they finally get near me I'll do an emote and pop out haha, people are usually cool at the beginning of fights
i'va been pvping for some time now and tbh i barely invade. rather than invading i lure in other invaders and around 80% i have a respectful 1v1. Here is how: Interesting spot with lots of invaders: Church of Elleh (the very first church from where you start the game) Using the following items: Furlcalling finger remedy (So that you "activate" the multiplayer) Taunter's tongue (Lures invaders into your world) White cipher ring (This items auto summons purples, often needed as you might get invaded by 2 so you can make a 1v1 + 1v1 scenario instead of 1v2) Also i am around 160level and it's quite crowded with pvp. i don't have to wait more than 1min for new invader.
Tbf, the first host was respectful. He stopped attacking when the blue boys came in and even bowed when you died. It was the blue boys who were respectless
If there was no lag he wouldve most likely won if the time frame wouldve stunned the person when it was suppose to they wouldve been tooken out one by one🤯🤯
i really enjoyed the undeadmatches that ds3 had was hoping for elden ring to have a similar pvp system, looks like the colosseums around the map might be set up for future pvp matches since we cant access them atm
@@msokka That will be good if they do start leaning towards that, the game is 10/10 but they could of Atleast put more work towards multiplayer, maybe added audio or even a way to add players you’ve been summoned by too, so much more potential multiplayer wise
Bleed is stupid broken in pvp rn. I’d suggest keeping it the same for pve while nerfing it in pvp. Maybe this could be done by increasing innate robustness for players?
Yes definitely, they also need to completely remove the stagger when bleed procs, as of now its completely possible to get stunlocked to death because you got staggered by bleed.
I have a question you reccomend that weapon your using I a trying to figure out thr best weapon for pvp and the bolt spear looks really fun to use please let me know on what you think of he spear Cause u seem to have alot more experience cause I never used it yet
i find it really good for pvp, the range is solid and the moveset is different to alot of other weapons so it can throw people off, give it a try youll be suprised how good it is
you'll never find a solo host because people only use the finger thing for other people unlike embers which gave more health, thats why i didn't even know that invading was in this game lol

First of all fromsoft needs to fix the peer connection, it's so terrible how half of the fights are just laggy garbage. As for invading players I definitely don't have a problem invading a 2 man squad of legit players and 1v2 them, when I do have a problem is when I have to fight a 1v3 with no help in sight and the phantoms are overleveled and doing way more damage than they should be. Increase the max players to 5 and allow 2 invaders against a 3 man gank.

True, I think its because the games still pretty new so everyone's still trying to get used to all the different builds. Also some of the incantations are really strong up close so it's risky to rush me incase I still get the spell off in time
i started vagabond but didnt have this build in mind at the start of the game, you can respec at any point after killing the 2nd demigod which is what i did so class doesnt matter to much endgame
Yea you won't run into random players or anything but you can summon your friends into your world for co-op which opens up your world to invasions. If your looking for a fair fight tho the taunters tounge item is used to lure invaders for a 1v1
this has always been the problem with soulsbourne pvp. kids with dogshit internet. the saddest part is they probably dont even know its their internet thats awful.
It’s almost like people enjoy storygames with their friends and don’t like other people forcing their PvP into it, so they group together to ruin your invasion since you interrupted their coop session.

Isn’t there a red summon sign you can put down if you actually want duels instead of invading people expecting them to duel you one on one?
Literally like 3/4 of the invades I go I have to deal with the blue Spirit guys

I have found 1 solo host when trying to pvp, every other invasion was a host with 2 wizards.
I've found a decent amount of solo fights though most the time it's when I'm luring invaders instead of invading
and then theres me a big pvp player in the last games who always plays solo and i had 2 invaders in limgrave in my now 80 hours
