Tom YLY Let me share my experience as a vlogger. My standard setup is Canon 800D with the 10-18mm. Works very well outdoors and when you have natural light. I was struggling indoors in lower light conditions. I move around a lot and don’t want to carry additional lighting. So I got the Tokina 11-16 for indoor vlogging, because of the 2.8f. This latest video was recorded indoors without any additional lighting. I am very happy with the result. ua-cam.com/video/ofcLrKcIIGo/v-deo.html
Hi, for a real estate video, wich one is better brother? thanks for the answer, i think tokina is the best option because the interior of the houses.. isnt it?
Honestly all three would do well. Inside a house where it is dark the faster aperture could help but really you want good depth of field inside always so you should be on a tripod.
Great video even after ten years. I love the 10 - 18. I bought a metal mount replacement part for the plastic mount. I got it on Amazon and the install was easy.
Then according to you the best lens is the canon 10-18? I have that lens and I wanted to buy new tokina 11 20 mm 2.8 Now I changed idea. I remain with my old cheap 10-18. Thanks
The 10-22 f3.5-4.5 USM is the classic alrounder; good range, and good aperture. The 10-18 f4.5-5.6 IS STM is a good entry level UWA that is small, lightweight, cheap and the STM is great for videos, but limited zoom range and limited low light. The Tokina 11-16 f2.8 is great for wide aperture, but very limited range.
i know you can get the nikon mount for the tokina are there any other good ultrawides in the same price range for nikon mount that you might get instead of the tokina
PhotoRec Toby I´m in that doubt too(nikon)... i´m considering the Sigma 10-20 F3.5 too... I´ve heard/read a lot of flare issues on the tokina, do you think that this is a deal breaker? Once i really like landscape photo?!
Hi Toby, I hadn't heard of your channel before today. Whilst looking at sample images from members of a forum, I came across a link to this comparison. Was very useful, thank you. I shall be subscribing!
I'm looking for a wide angle to have a better reach at shooting fireworks shows. I'm not sure if I should pick the Tokina, on of the Canons or even the Sigma 10-20mm. What would you recommend ? I don't like the fact that the 10-18mm Canon is full plastic.
if I already have 10-18mm, would the 11-16mm F/2.8 Tokina be worth the upgrade cost? Sometimes I can't setup a light and vlog in lower light conditions. Since I record at 24fps, I run 1/50, but with the 10-18mm, that means the widest aperture I can run is F/4.5 which makes me have to use 400ISO or 800ISO. I'd like to be able to use 200ISO at least.
So is the Canon 10-18 a complete no show for night photography? Star trails and such? I have a 24mm F/2.8 STM already. So really not sure whether I need Tokina because the CA there is just too high.
I would like to ask for your opinion. I'm going to buy canon 60D but I'm not sure about the lenses. I have a dilemma: canon 50mm 1.8 + 10-18mm 4.5-5.6 OR sigma 17-50 2.8?
Very good review. Had to hit the subscribe. I just got the Sigma 17-50mm but I am missing that wide angle so this review was very helpful. Keep 'em coming.
For the money the 10-18 gives you great versatility. For the quality and low light performance the 14mm would be my second choice. Manual focus only though.
Here in the UK, the Sigma/C 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 DG HSM II is cheaper to rent than the Tokina 11-16. Have you come across the Sigma ? Your opinion please.
I have been looking for a wide angel lens for more than a year. I have a Canon 7D camera and still only have the 18-55mm kit lens. I would like to buy an EF lens due to eventual camera upgrade. What lens would you recommend in the EF wide angel range?
The price and quality control issues scared me away from the 10-22. SInce ultra wides are mainly used for landscapes, the faster aperture is not really an issue with me.
They really all feel the same. Maybe the Tokina is a little more sealed up but all are completely internal zoom and focus so nothing sticks out of all three.
will the 1mm really matter between the canons and the tokina? it's not much of a difference right? i am actually planning to get a canon10-18 but i kinda dislike it's cheap feeling...
Just got a used 10-22mm at KEH excellent rate at $117.00 for my R7. it is a bargain lens. It is super fast and images are clear. I did look at those kit lens RF for the R7 but build quality is not compared to the old EF-S lens.
Toby, is there a fast wide angle lens at an affordable price? For example, i'm thinking about shooting a sequence in a "low-light" situation. I can go with the 50mm but the focus changes can be a mess!
I mean wide apertures! Wide like 18 or 35 for example. 50 mm 1.4 is really nice, but not for shooting with camera movement it gets difficult to control de focus
Can chromatic issues (the red and blue colours) be down to manufacturing and you just have to be lucky to get good lens. Seen another review of 10-18 which has chromatic issues. My canon 18-55 kit lens has this and its horrible.
all the videos and pictures we see are corrected and colored most in camera work isnt amazing untill they are corrected. film is king because little to no tweaking gave you amazing results
I've owned the 18-55 IS II and now the 18-55 STM. As for CA, no other lens has been as bad as the IS II. Difference between that and the STM version is huge. Also, I am happy with my copy of 10-18. Totally recommending this lens.
Hello there, will my EOS 70D can use this??? And how can I determine a lenses that compatible with my EOS 70D Another question, Does other brand of lenses is compatible with my CANON EOS 70D in a random way?:) I am really having a hard time to chose a lenses. But one thing I need is a wide angle lenses for landscape :)
Randall. There are two things you need to know. You have a canon crop sensor camera. 1.6 crop factor. So: canon camera=Ef Mount. Canon crop sensor camera=Ef-S Mount. A Ef lens is compatible with a crop sensor camera. But a Ef-s lens is NOT compatible with a full frame camera.
Came across your video today. Love the comparisons. U explained all very well and at an understandable pace. I will buy that 10-18mm lens for my Canon EOS 800D. It will suit my Real Estate well.
It has the loudest autofocus noise and doesnt have image stabilisation. It's terrible for vlogging... just check out my vlogs if you want a sample of how annoying the autofocus sound is lol.
I am looking for a wide angle camera to shoot an action scene with my canon t3i. Do you think canon 10-18mm will be OK? The action scene itself will be taken at the small forest where (maybe) i won't get enough light at the daylight. Or should i save more and go with Tokina 11-16mm?
Good morning there, would like your honest opinion bro. sigma 10-20, tamron 10-24, tokina 11-16 and the tokina 12-24.. between the four 3rd party lenses.. which suits me most? i am doing weddings, outdoors/landscaping and a lil bit of video. am using a nikon d7100. thanks :)
I have a question. I have a sony A3000 mirrorless and a adaptor for canon efs. Will this work manually well on my camera ?? I don't really care about the auto focus
Hi Toby, I have 70d + 18-135mm lens. I like to shoot landscape a lot and start consider to buy a wide angle lens. Do you still recommend I buy 10-18mm? What's pros that 10-18mm over 18-135mm besides the wider angle? Is image quality better? sharper? Appreciate you thoughts in advance
Thank you for the good review. I just bought USED Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 AT-X 116 Pro DX lens for my Canon 70D and found that auto focus does not focusing correct especially at the short distance and need to be corrected with manual focus but my other lenses are fine. Would like to have your opinion, please, do you think is something wrong with the lens or ...? Thank you.
If I want to try some nature wide angle photography and have a small budget would it be better to start with the canon 10-18 or the 24 prime in your opinion?
Jeanette Kalchik You have the 18-55 or 18-135 now? how often do you wish you could go wider than 18? If often get the 10-18 otherwise get the 24mm prime. (which prime are we talking about? ua-cam.com/video/nzUujWJmz_Y/v-deo.html)
can you help on a huge doubt ? wich one to buy, canon 10/22mm - canon 10/18mm or sigma 8/16mm i saw some sample videos of sigma and shes really sharp and rectilinea...do you think is worth to paying for the almost 800 dollares on sigma ?! thanks...
Yes, it is perfect for that. Ususally you have plenty of light for these shots for at f4.5 and you would use f5.6 or f8 for the best sharpness and DOF anyways. The focus is fast and silent, the angle of view is perfect.
When you were shooting the interior shots, what camera were you using? 70d? Im confused as to why the tokina at 2.8 didnt look as shallow as it should. I have a t4i and the tokina that i use for real estate photography. I've noticed that my shots arent as detailed as I want them to be. Would you say the canon 10-18 is more detailed, sharper images than the tokina? Oh, and I almost always am at f8 or even 11 when I shoot interiors.
Chris Eye I was using the 70D and at the smaller apertures f/8 and above found both to be very sharp. When shooting at wider focal lengths it is rare to really see shallow depth of field- the wider the focal length the wider your depth of field even when shooting at f/2.8. What camera are you using?
Chris Eye What ISOs are those shots at? And are you happy with other shots with other lenses when carefully inspected? I am just trying to figure out if it is overall detail or depth of field detail that is causing the issue.
CameraRec Toby I try to keep the iso at 100, but not more than 400. My 40mm images look pretty good, but i never use that lens for real estate so the shots are meant to have a more shallow dof. With the Tokina, I feel it's not sharp enough in the back of the image even at an f8 or higher. Examples can be seen at www.caiphotos.com
Hi, I am a nikon user so do not have the option to go with canon 10-18mm (i wish i could have a canon camera especially for wide angle lens), anyways...please could you advise whether i can go ahead with the (Tokina AT-X 116 PRO DX II AF 11 - 16 mm f/2.8). I want a wide angle lens which will last for atleast a decade with me and i can use it for any landscape shoot. Please comment, thanks :)
Hi Toby, We are looking for a a wide angle lens for filming in a nightclub. A club is very dark and doesn't offer very much light. We would like to know which of these lenses you will recommend for low light situations like in a club. We have a video on our channel what gives an example how dark the nightclub is. Thank You!
Kiavo Media tough call- for video you do want that image stabilization of the 10-18. The tokina gives you better low light performance with f/2.8 but the video is going to look jerky with no stabilization.
+Charlot Scicluna Well you're a bit stuck here because there is a lot of movement at a concert, so you'd need a Image Stabilized lens to shoot them (well at least for video) but light is also very limited so you'd need a low aperture too! If only the 11-16mm and the 10-18mm lenses had a baby haha!
+Kieran Wright Photo "... there is a lot of movement at a concert, so you'd need a Image Stabilized lens..." You must be thinking of camera movement, because image stabilization will not help at all if the object moves. For concert shooting, the Tokina would probably be the better choice, due to the F/2.8
Hi i have canon 650d and im looking for a wide angle lens for landscapes shooting, im not gonna shoot any stars. i saw there is a Sigma 10-20mm F3.5 EX DC HSM lens but im not sure which lend is better for me - the one above or the tokina 11-16 thanx for ur help. Shay.
I have had my 70D since they first came out last year, ...also had my 10-22mm since before that. Got my Sigma 18-35mm 6mos ago and since then, I really haven't used my 10-22mm anymore. Hard to go back after having f1.8 and haven't found any real reason for the extra 8mm of width. The one time I did use it though, it was for a wedding reception indoors, but was going back and forth needing that f1.8 over the 10mm. Had I had the 10-18 STM IS, it still wouldn't have been useful since everyone was moving around. So really, it's up to what you're using it for if you need that 10mm.
Great, very illustrative content, thanks! Two years after this video, would you still recommend the 10-18mm as an add on to an APS-C setup or as a travel lens?
Thank you so much for your answer, after watching this video and the full review I am convinced and I'm heading to the photo store to purchase one. Thanks again an keep doing videos!
I am using a canon 18-135 IS STM ...and i can it's a very silent a razor sharp new technology lens ..the 10-18 will surely do good job ..thanks for the video
+zayed khan a book that is going to teach you some photography would be the best thing.Nobody can give you a correct answer since nobody knows what are you shooting.Indoor?Sports?Portraits?Landscapes?etc etc None of this lenses are good for you.Are difficult to use if you want to have good results
I am planning to buy a wide angle lens ,but I don't know which one of these I should go with. Canon 10-18mm or the Tokina 11-16mm or the sigma 10-20mm I also want a lens between this range 10 to this range 50 which is not possible in one lens. I have the canon 28-135 and I am thinking of selling it and buying the tamron 16-300 what do you recommend me?
NOPE, Canon lenses will not mount on the GH4 unless you have an adapter. Some adapters may let you mount the 10-18 but because it is Canon's EF-S mount I doubt it. If you grabbed the 11-16 f/2.8 I think you would have better luck.
I have a 600D and a 6D, the canon is only for the crop sensors is tokina for full frame?? It would be much better If i could use the tokina with both the dslr's and 11mm in a Full frame, thats sounds amazing! I'm looking forward for a wide angle lens especially of starry sky, thanks for the review it shortened my list for wide angle lense :)
the canons are onle for APS-C , The Tokina is also meant for APS-C, but you can use it on Full Frame as well, but only at 16 mm, if you mount the Tokina on your 6D and you shoot it on 11 mm you will get huge black corners
I have a Canon EOS 5D Mark111 with EF 24-105 mm lens. I have recently taken up photography as a hobby and am looking for a good Wide-Angle lens for my camera. I would like to know which one to buy as I know nothing about lenses.
Hey hello! I have a question. I own a 750d. If I use this lwns on my camera will it be a 16-28 due to it's 1,6 crop factor or will I actualu get that really wide 10-18 Thanks in advance :)
Hey Toby, I have question. Does your 70D body make light rattling sound if you shake it ? it sound like there is something loose inside. I also noticed some rattling sound coming from inside the lens (canon EFS 10-22) and that zoom and focus rings have slight back and forth wiggle to it along with front of the lens hood( where it says "canon zoom lens...") very lightly wiggle side to side. I just bought this kit and not sure if I should be concern?
hi there, many thanks for the video, its very helpfull for many questions about this class lensess. i want to ask you about tokina 11-16 f:2.8 because i have the canon 10-18 mm lens for my apsc camera and i really didnt like its video sharpness. i am using tamron24-70 mm on my full frame dslr camera, tamron's wide angle sharpness and contrass is very well for for my video works. but on my second camera -7dmark ii apsc- the 10-18 is a disapointment for me. Maybe i am talking between very different lens classes but i want to ask you is tokina can solve my problem? or what do you suggest for me?
Hi Toby,I looked at your review on the Sigma 17-70. Thank you for that. I'm now thinking of buying one. Here where i live i can buy a refurbished one for 400 US or the older version for around 300 US. Is the newer version much better than the last should i save myself a hundred US and go with the older model? What would you do?
Thank you very much for this review
Best comparison video between 10-18 & 11-16
Excellent video!!
I am buying 10-18 on this recommendation. Thank you
This is such a great video! Hands down satisfied every curiosity I had at the moment. Thanks for being so detailed.
which one is the best to get
which one is best for vlogging?

PhotoRec TV I’ve a ronin s and canon 10-18 but I’m unsatisfied with it and I’m looking to buy the Tokina 11-16 :/
Sir can we use canon apsc lenses with fujifilm cameras ?
Please guide me...
Canon 10-18, 10-22 and Tokina 11-16, what is the best lens for video and photography?
Image sample comes at 09:11
What do you reccommend for nikon?
+Eric Jung thanks for answering an old comment, I'm looking forward for that lens
Great video even after ten years. I love the 10 - 18. I bought a metal mount replacement part for the plastic mount. I got it on Amazon and the install was easy.
Between the 3 lenses. Which lens would you prefer to do a group photo for wedding?
Sufian Hanif Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 so if group shot is in lower light you can open aperture without raising ISO.
PhotoRec Toby thanks toby.
PhotoRec Toby can you tell me whats the difference between dx and dxii?
Then according to you the best lens is the canon 10-18?
I have that lens and I wanted to buy new tokina 11 20 mm 2.8
Now I changed idea. I remain with my old cheap 10-18.
Thanks
Are they good for real estate
Might be worth redoing this review but with the modern equivalents.
The Tokina 11-16mm CF atx-i 2019 is awesome
I agree - there are several new wide angle lenses that I would like to test soon.
The 10-22 f3.5-4.5 USM is the classic alrounder; good range, and good aperture.
The 10-18 f4.5-5.6 IS STM is a good entry level UWA that is small, lightweight, cheap and the STM is great for videos, but limited zoom range and limited low light.
The Tokina 11-16 f2.8 is great for wide aperture, but very limited range.
i know you can get the nikon mount for the tokina
are there any other good ultrawides in the same price range for nikon mount that you might get instead of the tokina
Epicmeerkat99 The Tokina would be my pick.
thankyou
PhotoRec Toby
I´m in that doubt too(nikon)... i´m considering the Sigma 10-20 F3.5 too...
I´ve heard/read a lot of flare issues on the tokina, do you think that this is a deal breaker? Once i really like landscape photo?!
hi..i have a canon 600d will work the canon10-18 ??
Alex Papa Yes.
Thank you
Annotations at the end aren't there ;(
They are for me. You on desktop or mobile?
It was desktop but I think it was because it was just uploaded
which one to vlog ?
Hi Toby, I hadn't heard of your channel before today. Whilst looking at sample images from members of a forum, I came across a link to this comparison. Was very useful, thank you. I shall be subscribing!
Gareth Fallon Wonderful. Where did you hear about me? Thanks!

Hi. May I ask if I can use Canon 10-22mm lens in canon eos m3 using an adapter? Thank youuu
Yes! You can with an adapter.
I'm thinking about a Panasonic G7 with a lens mount adapter to canon ef/efs. is the 10-18 worth it with no aperture control due to the adapter?
+KyleIsReal I don't think so - It is also focus by wire so you might lose focus with a dumb adapter too. Just get a nice M4/3 lens.
ok I'll look!
I have the G7, great deal on the camera
Great comparison...just what I needed!
Which on would you recommend for filming shortfilms and landscape fotography? 10 - 18 because of the IS or the 11 - 16 because of the f 2.8?
if I already have 10-18mm, would the 11-16mm F/2.8 Tokina be worth the upgrade cost?
Sometimes I can't setup a light and vlog in lower light conditions. Since I record at 24fps, I run 1/50, but with the 10-18mm, that means the widest aperture I can run is F/4.5 which makes me have to use 400ISO or 800ISO. I'd like to be able to use 200ISO at least.
Yes - the 11-16 would be really helpful in those situations.
So is the Canon 10-18 a complete no show for night photography? Star trails and such? I have a 24mm F/2.8 STM already. So really not sure whether I need Tokina because the CA there is just too high.
+Aditya Akhauri I have used it for stars but very difficult to setup and conditions need to be just about perfect. Tokina is much better here.
+PhotoRec Toby Was it like a focussing difficulty? If you could kindly elaborate, it would really help. :)
+Aditya, I actually have the 10-18mm
However my friend told me about her 24mm pancake edition. Would you recommend that for a Wide lens?
Hi. What about the Canon 11-24mm f4l usm lens. I see that it cost 2,899 $. What does it offer so that it cost that much. Thanks.
It's for full frame. Which means it's TRUE 11mm WITH the image quality better. Although I still think it's overpriced.
Keep 'em coming.
trying to decide between the 10-18, roki 14mm and roki 8mm for filming skateboarding and just general use. any thoughts?
For the money the 10-18 gives you great versatility. For the quality and low light performance the 14mm would be my second choice. Manual focus only though.
Here in the UK, the Sigma/C 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 DG HSM II is cheaper to rent than the Tokina 11-16. Have you come across the Sigma ? Your opinion please.

16-35 F/4 Much more expensive but excellent quality and full frame compatible.
Thank you very much :)
Great review. Helped me decide to grab a 10-18. Thanks
Let me see, I had all 3 and come 2023, the only thing that remained is the 10-18, in the end the IS made all the difference.
The price and quality control issues scared me away from the 10-22. SInce ultra wides are mainly used for landscapes, the faster aperture is not really an issue with me.
Will the f4.5 on the 10-18 lens be too dark for Real Estate videos in rooms where there isn't a whole lot of natural light (eg: finished basements)
You could, if on a tripod, go down to 1/30 of a second for a little more light.
yes. dont use this lens for real estate videos...
Thank you for your review. You helped me make a definitive decision on purchasing the 10-18
Toby,Out of Canon 10-18 vs 10-22 vs Tokina 11-16 which is the best Weather Resistant?
They really all feel the same. Maybe the Tokina is a little more sealed up but all are completely internal zoom and focus so nothing sticks out of all three.

will the 1mm really matter between the canons and the tokina? it's not much of a difference right? i am actually planning to get a canon10-18 but i kinda dislike it's cheap feeling...
+Curtis Chong It's a ten percent difference. It would be the same as a 100mm and 110mm difference so it's significant enough!
+Joe Charles thx for the info! still planning to get the tokina though
What do you recommend for astrophoto?

Is the canon10-18mm shooting silence? or the other one canon?
+Liangke Cho 10-18 is indeed stm so silent
Came across your video today. Love the comparisons. U explained all very well and at an understandable pace. I will buy that 10-18mm lens for my Canon EOS 800D. It will suit my Real Estate well.
how is the new Tokina 11-20?
Would you recommend the 10-18 for landscapes as well?
Jose Gutierrez Yes. . . but hang on a few days I have a new video coming out that talks about wide angle lenses and landscapes.
PhotoRec Toby Subscribed! Can't wait.
How is the tokina on lens flaring? like if you were shooting against the sun
does the tokina have IS?
No. IS is not that important to me on wide angle lenses.
PhotoRec TV what's your opinion on tokina when being used in vlogging ?
It has the loudest autofocus noise and doesnt have image stabilisation. It's terrible for vlogging... just check out my vlogs if you want a sample of how annoying the autofocus sound is lol.
Did just buy Canon 10-18. Going to do some filming so I need that stabilization. Just hoping that F stops will be enough for me.
Dimitri T how is it 5 months later?
RDaze Its light and works well. Quiet focus and stabilisation is a plus. I like it a lot.
Haven't started my main project yet. But made some test videos on my channel
Great video, a lot of useful information, thanks
thanks for this demo comparison
the 10-18 is still an impressive little gem of a lens
I am looking for a wide angle camera to shoot an action scene with my canon t3i. Do you think canon 10-18mm will be OK? The action scene itself will be taken at the small forest where (maybe) i won't get enough light at the daylight. Or should i save more and go with Tokina 11-16mm?
+augusta wicaksono if u shoot action scenes you always!! need fast lenses. f/2.8,f/2.0,f/1.8,f/1.4
Just started watching the video so no idea about the content but gotta say... DAMN dude... that's like... the busiest bokeh ever!
You meant busHiest bokeh ever ;)
Good morning there, would like your honest opinion bro. sigma 10-20, tamron 10-24, tokina 11-16 and the tokina 12-24.. between the four 3rd party lenses.. which suits me most? i am doing weddings, outdoors/landscaping and a lil bit of video. am using a nikon d7100. thanks :)
What lens did you use for shooting the intro?
Sir please help me. I have a canon 77d. Please Subject me a high quality good lens for shooting scenery landscapes architecture & also blogging.
I have a question. I have a sony A3000 mirrorless and a adaptor for canon efs. Will this work manually well on my camera ?? I don't really care about the auto focus
Which one of these lenses is better in terms of image quality like chromatic aberration , distortion and so on ..
john al-otaibi They all suffer from distortion but I found the Canon 10-18 to be the best overall quality.
Hello , wich one i should use for landscape photography ? ( best photo quality ) ?
I have a canon 600D ( APS-C )
Attallah Hichem Did you watch the review? I found the Canon 10-18 to be sharpest.
thank you :)
CameraRec Toby
incredible¡¡ i thought the tokina were sharpest than the canon.
can you help on a huge doubt ?
wich one to buy, canon 10/22mm - canon 10/18mm or sigma 8/16mm
i saw some sample videos of sigma and shes really sharp and rectilinea...do you think is worth to paying for the almost 800 dollares on sigma ?!
thanks...
Great video. Would you recommend 10-18 for landscape?
CameraRec Toby
650D T4i
Chris Eye What ISOs are those shots at?
Which wide angle will you recomend in Nikon? I have d5300
Tokina 11-16 f/2.8
thanks. Is Tokina 11-20 f/2.8 better than 11-16?
subscribed. . its very informative and more understandable when u showed more examples. keep it up. .
+TheKoyok92 thank you - we appreciate that
Hi Toby, We are looking for a a wide angle lens for filming in a nightclub.
CameraRec Toby Thank you for answering. Is there no other wide angle lens we could looking for, no matter what price?
THanks for the review... What do you suggest for Music Concert shooting, please?
For a Workout Video which is the best?
Hi! I’ve been thinking about buying the 10-18mm but I just wanted to know first if it’s any good for portraits??
Thank you for this. I do have a question. If I wanna shoot landscape and do a bit of lowlight video would you recommend I just get the tokina?
low light - get the Tokina
PhotoRec TV can I get a Tokina for landscape (day and night) and videos?
Hi i have canon 650d and im looking for a wide angle lens for landscapes shooting, im not gonna shoot any stars.
i saw there is a Sigma 10-20mm F3.5 EX DC HSM lens but im not sure which lend is better for me - the one above or the tokina 11-16
thanx for ur help.
Shay.
Toby, I would like to know, if you already have the sigma 18-35 is it worth getting the 10-18? Thanks
How often do you wish you could go wider?
+César Martínez it's still an excellent lens yes
Thank you so much for your answer, after watching this video and the full review I am convinced and I'm heading to the photo store to purchase one. Thanks again an keep doing videos!
but still i didn't understand which one of canon 10-18 or 10-22 are you more recommending? thanks
mrz 1342 Canon 10-18 unless you want to do low light photos - then get the Tokina 11-16.
What's the proper lens hood for the 10-22 Canon 80D?
I'll be shooting both real estate AND indoor video. Does this mean Tokina? Any opinions?
I am using a canon 18-135 IS STM ...and i can it's a very silent a razor sharp new technology lens ..the 10-18 will surely do good job ..thanks for the video
I plan on shooting the NYC skyline. Would the Canon or the Tokina be better for me?
Either would be fine in that specific case- overall I find the Tokina a little more versatile.
PhotoRec TV I don't understand, where is bad Tokina? In video? Or noise?
hi... is that suitable if i use 500D with 10-18mm stm? for wedding n lanscape scene...
photo n video...
As long as it is daytime outdoor, you won't have any problem with this lens. But for indoor at night, you might want to look for faster lenses.
for canon 60D what would be much better ? actually I'm confused :3
Canon 10-18mm or the Tokina 11-16mm or the sigma 10-20mm
I also want a lens between this range 10 to this range 50 which is not possible in one lens.
I have the canon 28-135 and I am thinking of selling it and buying the tamron 16-300
what do you recommend me?
Will the Canon 10-18 work with the Panasonic GH4 ?
Thank you for sharing. I just bought this lens. I subbed.
Thanks for the sub! Appreciated.
Hey hello! I have a question. I own a 750d. If I use this lwns on my camera will it be a 16-28 due to it's 1,6 crop factor or will I actualu get that really wide 10-18 Thanks in advance :)
Hey Toby,
I have question.
Great video. Thanks. I have the 10-18 for my Sony A7ii. Love it.
Very well composed information. I enjoyed this.
