I personally would not have used a light of any kind with the moon so bright.
When using a light source your eyes will adjust to that-
Your eyes have a hard time seeing anything beyond where the light is hitting.
With no using a light- especially with that bright moon-
It would actually allow me to see farther away. Just not as much detail.
You can see game trails perfect this way.
