Except Dave lied about his credentials and never even served in the military as claimed (plus the so called snake lover doesn't even know the difference between venomous and poisonous, he always calls snakes with venom poisonous when they are not (venomous means if it bites you then you're envenomated/sick, poisonous means if you eat it then you get sick. We can eat venomous snakes without issue, that is basic survival knowledge)).
@@kainoakanoe Ditto. Dave & Cody were awesome and got used to working together which was cool. Both eccentric but interesting. And I liked Matt too. Joe really turned me off of the show- too much. I know he's eventually went off the show and maybe the new guys are better but it was that bad.
I remember back when I was in High School as well. There was a group of us. Basically myself and my best friend, a co-worker who became a great friend, and another grade school buddy. Except we were back in the 80's, well before this show was even thought of. We used to kick back and do exactly the same thing as you did. Except we used to watch the movies and/or cartoons. The Flintstones being the favorite. Movies were Jaws, Star Wars, Cannonball Run, Stripes,👻👻Ghostbusters👻👻, 🎃👻Halloween👻🎃, etc. For Television shows it was either M*A*S*H, The Odd Couple, or Cheers. Those were some really great times! 👍
I like these two guys two very different styles of survival... I think these guys work well together I hope they are friends after doing all this stuff together...
Born and raised in West Virginia. I feel right at home in that environment. Rather be in woods than when i went to N.Y.C. in 1999. Only felt comfortable in central park.
I grew up in the rocky mountains of Colorado, moved to okeechobee Florida in my teens and traveled through north Carolina as an old man and I can say without any doubts that Florida is the toughest place I've ever been.
Bro these two are the ones I love watching since Les Stroud stopped doing survival challenges .. if anyone knows of anybody who does real survival videos let me know... I'm not talking survival where they got tents, rods, bait, food, coffee and all that other stuff .. that's camping 😂
They need a channel together ❤❤ hands down one of the best teams and the banter between the 2😂😂😂, from when they first met to now wow ❤🎉😅 watching from New Zealand
Pretty sure they're in Big South Fork of The Cumberland National River and Recreation Area. That's the Northern stretch.... most is in Tn. That's a proper river. Best Dual Survival Duo ever.
Didnt they have a falling out? I was young when i was watching this. I just remember the guy that replaced cody was a complete fake survivalist or something along those lines.
Very hard to stay "lost" anywhere in the east, actually there are people everywhere. A city slicker might think otherwise, but hard to get lost in any eastern state
It feels crazy how close they where to where I live I live like an hour from Cumberland it’s weird seeing them so close I’m used to seeing them across the country or world 😂😂😂
Not everyone is fortunate to be able to be allowed to know ancient gifts and knowledge of survival stuff. Alot of it is sacred, so they must be blessed.
Of the various Dual Survival pairings, Cody and Dave were the best - they had the best chemistry
They are both very interesting and intelligent. My favourite duo on this TV show forsure.
I liked Matt a lot but couldn't stand Joe & his alpha male attitude

@@MississippiMudMXI think they mean together like in this☝🏼 show.
@@beautytryouts yeah i realized that afterwards lol.
@@MississippiMudMX was going to tell you that, but I figured you'd get it haha
Never happen
Dave telling Cody “we’re alright” while underwater was the funniest things I’ve seen on this show
I miss watching this back when i was younger... great show
I forgot about this episode. Kentucky is my home state. I grew up hunting, fishing, and camping in woods just like this!
I love both of these guys. You can learn a lot from both of them. They have more experience than most would ever wish for.
I'm so happy they post full episodes
Who's watching this wonderful Discovery Channel episode in 2024?🤗
Dave is truly an amazing and phenomenal guy! Very polite and humble! Ive met him a few times and loved it
“This is *your* stew, dude, so if you want…..”
“It ain’t *MY* stew!!! It’s got worms in it!!!”
😂😂😂😂
Thanks for broadcasting this show ❤🫠☺️
The skunk part had me on the floar😂😂
You spelt flour wrong....
I thought he saw a bear for a moment.

My dog jet once had an encounter with a skunk and she was stinky for almost 10 days 😂

I love to watch those two.Keep making this film so we can all learn from them.😊
Now these gentlemen can teach us how serious situations can happen anywhere or time out camping without a grocery store around the corner.
You can tell Cody don’t wanna build a boat and then when it sinks he’s just poed 41:13 lol favorite part of the whole video
Thank u for uploading came in clutch

I see Cody and Dave I hit like and then watch
26:34 cody laughing made me laugh 😂
Yes been waiting for the next one 👍
These two were the best duo. Discovery channel made the worst mistake by letting Dave go thereby breaking up this team.
Love how he knew that raft was gonna sick from the start 😂😂
Love codys laugh @26 mins 😂
Literally read this as he starts laughing and here i am laughing along like him sheesh
25:12 "Ain't my stew it's got worms in it..." 😂
Well it's been years since collaborated but if they wanted to get rich they'd team back up for sure because they were the best duo who did this show.
Dave calls Cody a Bush Hippie and Cody calls Dave a Hillbilly. These two are fun to watch.
I miss both of these guys! 😢
Dave e Cody são os melhores. 👍👍👍
Dave & Cody 🤠J'adore !! ! ❤
Ngl, I smiled when they finally met up.💪🏻🔥
What most people don't know is that they're actually just 50 yards away from each other 🤣
Was an awesome watch
West Pennsylvania here.. feels like home
Thank you very Nice vidéo 👍
Cody and Dave is amazing to in the survival series
Wow this is a new episode ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ are there more to come ?
No this is an old episode, and unfortunately so. O, how happy I would be if there were new Dave & Cody episodes. It would be truly miraculous.
Didnt they have a falling out? I was young when i was watching this. I just remember the guy that replaced cody was a complete fake survivalist or something along those lines.
26:19 "Kentucky Cologne" lol ......... I love Dave's humor.
Fantastic but I am surprised that the skunk never tried to bite
Dave is the man!
Bring them back together and itll be huge.
Dave is the man
Cody’s laugh about the skunk 🦨 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Glad to see prison mike enjoying the outdoors
Dave: The way I see it we have 2 problems here
Cody: Well we have 3 problems cause the first thing u said was we 😂😂😂😂😂
Cody has a quick wit on him

I like a part when cody laughing so bad
We back
Dave's laugh from 39:02 to 39:07 is so creepy and funny lol
Imagine going into a cave at night and you see Cody like that. LOL!
This is what happens with people who don't come ready for anything and everything when on the river
Kentucky ticks are saying hello lol
Cody’s laugh about the skunk 🦨 😂😂😂😂😂😂 28:18

Top tier entertainment👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Please rejoin for a reunion!!!!
Must be over by Cumberland Falls or down river from it .
Try few miles up the river from the falls
@@MWP_2312 Nope! It was filmed near Rugby, TN. Look at the map and match their map of the river to it. Type Horseshoe Bend Rd into google maps.
Cody laughs like Krusty the clown 😂
The cameraman never gets lost, drowned or anything.
He should of asked the cameraman where his buddy is lol
I wish that Dave pointed out the reason why the moonshine still was there is because of that spring
The barefoot guy reminds me of anyone walking around on gravel, barefoot. He doesn't ever look to be aptly trained for what he is pretending to do.
I’m glad they’re there with a film crew… a lot of people go missing in those woods… a lot of weirdos out there..
Ive been to the apalachia mountains a few times! In fo76 😂
That wasn’t poison ivy vine that Dave was talking about. That was Virginia creeper climbing up the tree.
Wrong. Virginia creeper isn't a "hairy" vine.
That's bull that they got rid of Dave. You should bring Dave back, if not, Dave, get a channel and I'm sure most of us will come to your channel.
I'd be more worried about the serial killers than the wildlife 😅
*banjo intesifies*
If Dave and Cody found one they would probably be like nice more food
31:00 either they plant items or they straight up stole somebody's property....
That brand new boat cover was planted I reckon
Not everyone is fortunate to be able to be allowed to know ancient gifts and knowledge of survival stuff. Alot of it is sacred, so they must be blessed.
I did all sorts of things like this, in my many past lives.
I kind of regret not bringing that knowledge to this lifetime
Lol you ant lost there's a house right across the river, just make sure nobody on the porch playing a banjo 😂
Any first-year boy scout who grew up around there would have no problem surviving
....or you could skip the mud and wear pants Cody lol
31:08 i hope they left some cash behind. Imagine going camping and you finally make it to your campsite and your tent is gone...
Yeah I'm doubting his bow drill experience after watching that travesty.
Cody always always be crying. LOL
