My goodness this tutorial is without question still relevant. Just picked up a pre owned Aerospace in pristine condition. And for the life of me couldn’t get the minute hand aligned. And your video ironed it out for me. Thanks a bunch!!!
I’ve got the 42mm watch from 2006. Great travel watch. And the most comfortable watch ever. The titanium has such little mass it’s like wearing nothing. My favourite feature being the repetition minutes. Middle of the night you wake up. Just reach over and press the crown and count off the time without a light in your face. Change time zones in a plane just rotate the crown to add or subtract hours. Most accurate quartz I’ve owned due to the thermo compensated feature. All in all a belter if a watch. Nice wide bracelet and rides really low on the wrist. Cool tech piece with an almost steam punk feel with that dark dull titanium look. A cracking beater watch that I’ve seen for a healthy discount all over the place. Every watch nerd needs a Breitling Aero in their collection. Just for shits n giggles.
I has one from 2004, it was stopped a few years ago and now I don´t remember how to put the funcion to give a sound every hours, do you know how to do? Thanks very much.
@@luisesalgado55 first step - get a battery fitted. Having a fresh battery cell installed will dramatically improve your chances of getting your quarts watch to function correctly.
Brilliant review. Gets straight to the point, no waffle, just informative facts and explanation of the functions of the watch. It's all covered here in a few minutes. I hope people interested in this watch came here first.
Just picked uo my Atlas Air Worldwide Aerospace Evo.. And this was undoubtedly the best tutorial out there. Thank you!! Last 100 ever made and now discontinued by Breitling!
this watch is seriously cool. 1) there is nothing wrong with a quartz watch 2)This embraces the quartz abilities and makes adds really cool and useful functions. 3) It's its own thing and just seems fun to play with!
Got my 'Aerospace II' circa 1994 on today, a beater watch for me now, this video is useful as the multi function crown is confusing at times especially when the hands are misaligned to the digital readout
Well, it basically works the same as the original Tissot Twotimers with the ETA 958.335 did--with some new features. There are a ton of similar watches available in all price ranges, from a basic Certina to a Tissot up to these Aerospaces.
Very good easy refresh video ,,I have the older model about 24 years ware it everyday still feels like new .. it has exact same function as this one i change battery about every 2 years.. came here looking how to set year.
I once had a Certina with a similar combined analog/digital display and pretty much all the functions shown here in the Breitling, except for backlight and most of the sound effects. Price was around $400. It served me well for 10 years, but when it finally broke dorwn the repair cost was equal to a new watch.
Yes my two tone Aerospace is circa 1992 original owner and have not worn for years, will try a self battery change and hope all works well. Still beautiful like newnon the outside and light as feather, and still beautiful.
Nothing complicated to me about my Aerospace. Matter of factly, I like the crown being the single source of manipulation because everything seems more intuitive to me, as opposed to multiple pushers and buttons on other watches where I have to consult the owner's manual multiple times over.
I have the emergency and it's basically the same watch (but with the emergency signal) and it wasn't easy understanding how to get everything set. But once I figured it out it all made sense.
My Aerospace Evo has start to blink the LCD everytime it turns on backlight (indicating end of battery)... And it doesnt stop even though I changed the battery :( I've tried both new Renata and GP batteries. Anyone has any clue?
This is what quartz did to watch making! This could have been the ideal officers watch. The potential is right there.. Although I used a Seiko 5 day and date for many years in the army, having an automatic watch was really helpful after discovering the tendency of quartz watches to “die” at worst possible moments.
DATING HARLEY QUINN Agree totally!! Seiko achieved tremendous things and created entirely new niches. I think that many watch hobbyists go threw Seiko (and some simply remain) I still have that Seiko 5 for my army reserve. Had an alpinist in white (6R15) that I sold. At the moment I owe a Tudor and a Rolex which help me with my work and feel of esthetics.
DATING HARLEY QUINN It’s solid Aluminum-Bronze alloy. The stuff used for making commercial transport boat propellers. Watchfinder actually had a video about it.
DATING HARLEY QUINN That was really fun story. I can only dream about owning a yacht - of any size. But we rent a small sail boat from time to time (live in Israel). It’s pure fun By the way, I recommend you take a peek at Tudor Bucherer blue edition (that’s the one I have)
Mine works but the hands only move backwards no matter which way you wind. BREITLING wants over $1,000 to fix. Help me if you can I’ll pay handsomely or sell it to you at a low price.
@Magister Ludi i fully agree that G-Shock offer great value and are really cool. This Breitling is built to a somewhat higher standard and quality than the G-Shock and has a different aesthetic and will therefore appeal to a slightly different audience. Second hand these are superb value and so are the G-Shock watches.
I'd buy one of these Breitling Aerospace watches, except for one major issue - the digital display is barely readable. Breitling should have resolved this issue long ago.....
the problem with watches equipped with such electronic windows is, you can hardly see anything there. And it is not because it is small, it's because of lighting conditions, unless you turn the watch light on. Whatever you want to use, chrono, contdown timer , etc, sometimes you don't see clearly unless you turn the watch straight into your eyes etc. Traditional display with hands etc is much faster in my opinion, you can see from any angle where the watch hand is. In the brand/model I have, aviation watch, with all those alarms, time zones, etc etc, the light goes off raally fast, and in alarm mode you can not use it at all, as the button turns the alarm on and off. Basically, in the nighttime, useless.
We know you want more watches…. click here: linktr.ee/watchfinder
Twice a year I love this video. NEVER TAKE IT DOWN. THANK YOU
The best function of aerospace video I have ever watched, I have 2 aerospace and a chronospace and you just simplified my life. Thanks Watchfinder.
Taken you 4 Years 😊 you must be bored.

this was my first ever “nice” watch.
I wore the breitling aerospace during my flight test. sold it and now I have an avenger 2 and a B55 ❤️
Just bought my Aerospace from you guys, that vid helped :)

I assume this is a video from the archive.
@@vorakwadh possibly yes, still a really informative and high quality video just prefer the other table😂

Thank you. Valuable information. Better than the manual.

What a beautiful beast of a watch 💪🙏
I just bought a 1990s one this morning. Loving it.
I once had a Certina with a similar combined analog/digital display and pretty much all the functions shown here in the Breitling, except for backlight and most of the sound effects. Price was around $400. It served me well for 10 years, but when it finally broke dorwn the repair cost was equal to a new watch.
Thanks really helped, loving this watch!
Please tell me the minute hands hit the minute markers perfectly.
Yes it does, but it clicks along 30 seconds at a time, so half the time its between minute markers.
Nice tutorial. That is however a ton of crown usage. How many have been repaired or replaced over the years I wonder?
Super helpful, thanks
Awesome instruction! *****
Is the negative LCD difficult to read like a G shock? And how good is the light?
This is a great new series. Can you please do a video for using the ladies JLC master compressor diver GMT. Setting the date and gmt is tricky
Efective and simple.
what abouy Omega Skywalker X33? the latest model.
Thanks
thx, I got the TISSOT aerospace, same setup as on the Breitling.
This watch is quite similar to the Tissot two-timer, which I personally own
Eeeeh, No, its not similar to Tissot's two-timer.
It uses exactly the same mechanism
Yes, exactly what I thought. The two timer was my first proper watch.
Thank you...
Worked on my navitimer. Thanks
In the countdown timer mode [TM] a short press should restart the time and a long press, as you’ve noted, should cancel it.
This could be ultimate watch
After 30 years I couldn't remember anything.. Thank you so much! This instruction would also work on the Breitling Chronospace A56011 circa 1990-9.
Yes my two tone Aerospace is circa 1992 original owner and have not worn for years, will try a self battery change and hope all works well. Still beautiful like newnon the outside and light as feather, and still beautiful.
Hi all, does anyone know why my minute repeater wants chime after replacing the battery? Thanks in advance 😊
Thats a beautiful “ Casio” !
This is the most complicated watch ever
Charles Ingham their Navitimer is more complicated than turning and pressing a crown. Anybody that’s ever had a Casio can use this.
Nothing complicated to me about my Aerospace. Matter of factly, I like the crown being the single source of manipulation because everything seems more intuitive to me, as opposed to multiple pushers and buttons on other watches where I have to consult the owner's manual multiple times over.

Anyone has any clue?
”Hand alignment” is actually allowing another timezone.
Still trying to find a way through this watch ....
I like watches.✌🏽
Super videojust orders the DLC version after my normal one was stolen 6 years ago
All of this is *much* easier if you first turn the bezel 5-10 minutes to get the rider tabs away from the crown.
Honestly I just couldn’t be arsed.
When you see what Casio is doing, you'll think that this watch belongs to a soldier from WWII!
Too bad Casios (particularly G-Shocks) are enormous and uglier than homemade sin. Otherwise I wouldn't mind getting one.
I have 30 casios, and I love this more than all of them other than my Mudman. Thats because the Aerospace is an awesome watch.
The minute adjustment isn't working. The minutes are only jumping at 30 minute intervals...
The retail price of this watch is $3,800.
Seems unnecessarily sophisticated
Good functions. But a pain in the arse to use on the wrist if you wear your watch on your right hand!
This is the watch Christopher Nolan wanted Hamilton to copy for the movie TENET
👍👍👍
You can accidentally call the marines with this watch right? 🤣
Thats the Brietling Emergency 👍
@@JohnnyTurnerMusic aaah yes you're right!!!!

Money honey.

Confusing af
I don’t understand why you would buy this watch
Cause it's cool, well build and has alot of useful functions
I didn’t either then I watched this video and I’m turned on like it’s one of those Instagram naughty girls that wear nothing.

running short of material?
Why do I want this stupid watch so bad I can get so much more for 3500 but I want this 😔

Steel G-Shock Square (gmw-b5000) has much the same functionality and looks better, IMO
I have one and looks great.
G Shocks to Big .... this Breitling 43mm.
This is not user friendly xD
Quite ugly ino
soon to be discontinued watch!
Very disturbing watch
A hell of a boring watch.
