I installed 1 today and couldn't get it to start warming and thus looked it up here and realize I didn't know the unit has a main switch like you mentioned here. lol The way I mounted it level though was by dry fitting into the face plate and putting blue tape on the wall where it mounts to the wall and a level at the top and marked the blue tape with a pen to drill the holes. came out great! I didn't see the part where the set screws were tighten, also, how was it possible to install the electrical junction box at the exact right place?

If you watch the full video, you'll see in the beginning that we advise to follow the instructions provided to make the marks you need to install the junction box. You can also use the box as a template and mark from the towel warmer posts themselves.

so you are able to attach the left hand side to the stud wall, and the electrical box on the right side will align?

Yes, If you mark the template onto the box or do the measurements correctly, all 4 posts will align up properly. All you have to do is follow the installation instructions provided with the towel warmer.

Does this towel warmer require it's own GFI connection?

We suggest that our towel warmers are powered by a GFCI-protected breaker. It may also be required by your local Electric Code.
