@@librarianlirael I remember being incredibly surprised when I heard about the fourth book because I thought the series was done! I don't think I had to wait for the second and third, but that's just because I didn't find the series until those three were all out. :D
I might be biased but I almost always prefer the UK editions to the US editions. Especially when it comes to Harry Potter
Read Artemis Fowl! I loved those books. Dang, I should pick them up again myself.
The neon Hunger Games covers are the Capital versions 😝
I went into this hoping you would talk about some cover changes I have thoughts about... and you did!! But... I was so confused because I hadn't seen ANY of those covers, even though I have read some of the series (HP, Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus, Lux, Mortal Instruments, Panem...)
Then it dawned on me. I am German. We have different covers for every single book you talked about! Makes me wonder how many covers *does* a book get? XD
Omg you have to read Artemis fowl!! It’s so good and such a different middle grade series! I love it so much
I’m gonna fight whoever thought of those hunger games covers.
hi! i think its very interesting, because I'm from another country and in some cases we have completely different book covers.
However I think your video is great as always. Have a nice day!
I collect the 1st Harry Potter books from all countries
Its interesting how many different version I've seen
Love love love the new Good Omens cover for the illustrated version! I usually hate anything related to a TV or film tie in but that cover is glorious!
Lol the artemis fowl cover startled me. I have the shiny journal-looking hard back versions so those are the only ones I've ever seen
11:30 you HAVE to look up the dutch percy jackson covers, they're so beautiful
You didn't want to see my face when I saw the Heroes of Olympus covers. ARE THEY TRYING TO KILL OUR EYES?
I love the Swedish Harry Potter covers by Alvaro Tapia, but I must say the new ones by Olly Moss are also stunning
Yes! Definitely read the Artemis Fowl books, I totally recommend them
I'm super late to the party here, but the OG Artemis Fowl cover isn't what you showed. It was a gold cover with like runes on it or something, not sure how many cover changes it's had but that the one I remember from elementary school.
Why is no one talking about the new HP covers that everyone has nowadays. (The 2014 ones).
What do they look like?
Does anyone else remember a plain-ish gold cover for Artemis Fowl when it first came out or was that just a scholastic book fair cover?
Honestly, I quite like the new Skulduggery Pleasant covers. There's something satisfying about seeing all my favourite characters together but I still prefer the original.
I agree with you about Ember in the Ashes. That was my first time seeing those covers and the newer ones stood out a lot more
I can’t think of any books that I’ve read that had a cover change, but I will always love the covers for the Locked Tomb trilogy and I hope they never change because they are perfection.
1:34 that right it's on the inside that counts... for both books and people 😊
Check out Artemis Fowl's covers from the brazilian edition, I just LOVE them so much
"I hope your room is cleaner than mine currently is."
If I had a dollar for every day my room is clean, I would have nothing!
I highly recommend Artemis Fowl! Reread that series three times! But there’s also another version, with one copy actually being smaller than the other books, which was pretty cool.
One, Obviously love the mortal instruments covers and the clockwork covers and the fact that when you lin them all up there spines create a picture is just everything and two, omg I never want to see those neon Harry Potter covers again
