While some have cut ties and ran, there's also been creators standing up for and supporting the charity work that Established Titles is doing despite the mob mentality that's against it. Personally, I hate cancel culture and find it sad that so many jump on the bandwagon because of what they're told. I think it's important to do the homework

I will probably get hanged for this, but there is one cover for The Name of the Wind that looks like it's a romance. Kvothe has shirtless Fabio vibes and is standing with his lute and the wind swooshing back his hair. The artist is skilled, but it totally mismarkets the novel. Also, Kvothe has no instance in the book when he looks like that. He's either a kid, a young teen, or a very weary adult, which makes me wonder why the artist chose to paint him how they did. While it cannot compete with some of those paperbacks, I think that it falls into another category of bad covers.

I own that 50th anniversary box set of LotR plus Hobbit mass market paperback where that was the Hobbit cover. The LotR covers were just as bad. I was so confused by the covers after reading the books. In the same way the original early hardback WoT covers are wildly weird.

Someone did a video on it you might want to check out some of the info to decide if you wanna promote them still. Love the video there are so many cringey book titles and NAMES of books from like the 80's-90's
