The 2015-2020 Ford Fusion is the most reliable midsize sedan from a US automaker in many years despite having a hiccup in the 2013 model year. Ford should do a top-down redesign with a tablet-style infotainment screen from the new Ford Explorer. An Ecoboost hybrid with 225 hp with a 1.5L Atkinson cycle EcoBoost L4 would be awesome.
It literally looks like somebody was redesigning the old Sonata and when they were doing that silver line that runs down the side as they got to the front they sneeze went through the headlight and then made a check and was like oh that'll do 💀

No wonder western countries have nothing but spoiled kids with no real skills anymore! Especially compared to the youth in Eastern nations. I really noticed this sort of parenting phenomen in the west when I moved here to Daegu.

Alex on Autos, Sofyan and Doug DeMuro = best car reviewers. I love the comparisons. I agree, I just test drove the 1.6T Sonata and feel it is quicker and smoother than the 4-cyl Camry. Pleasantly Surprising.
This car looks good! Also I love the fact that Hyundai really has every single car in their lineup look different but match their aesthetic! For example Mazda, Lincoln, Volvo all have a nice cars but they all look the exact same just in different sizes.
From my understanding, the new engine has the ability to adjust valve (opening/closing) duration during the entire rev range, where VVT can only do so at a pre-determined rev range.
@@elletangere8964 you definitely don't need all of the features it has as a newer driver. They are great to have, but they sometimes get annoying with all the beeping the car does for every little thing you do. As for uber, I wouldn't want to use this car for that purpose. Maybe a lower trim. I just wouldn't want to put that kind of wear on a $35k+ vehicle.

It reminds me of a 2016-2018 BMW interior, and I ain’t mad about it. It’s a good looking car, can’t wait to see the N series unwrapped.
The went from bland cars to super stylish (fluidic design) and sold a ton...and then went back to bland!!! Glad they are styling again...this one is really cool...love kia and hyundai...they last a long time too.
I have a 2015 Hyundai Sonata and before that a 2014...I love mine! Pano sunroof, peanut butter guts, many luxury features and I have never had any problems thank God! This new one is REALLY nice! Trade in?! 🧐
Created to be in his Presence yes trade it in. This one is a beaut!
I like what you’re doing putting the car’s model at the beginning of the video
@lena darling Thick juicy steak! Yummmm!
@lena darling leather is the best product for motorcycle jackets for a reason. No other material can compare in terms of protection and durability.
lena darling The so-called “vegan” option is no better. A petroleum derived plastic that’ll only last a few years, before being tossed into a landfill where it’ll poison the earth for 100,000 years. Leather is at least a natural product, it’s biodegradable and will last for decades. I’m no supporter of animal cruelty but leather has its advantages over the vegan options.
Sofyan putting his life on the line to bring us quality reviews
I would gladly replace my 17 Elantra limited for this bad boi!
Neil Covers why do people keep claiming that Hyundai and KIA are unreliable?
@@G0ddammitB0bBy69 people won't let the pass go...Hyundai has come a long way!
Homer Simpson because they aren’t reliable lol
Homer Simpson in Miami every single car on the side of the road with the hood open are either Chevy, dodge, or a Kia
@@kevs2good133 All I've had for the past 10 years are hyundai's & I've never been on the side of anybody's road..
this has to be one of my favorite new “regular” cars
I love how it looks
My, my, I'm so proud Sonata, & Genesis two vehicles to be reckoned with beautiful cars.
Saw this at the auto show, the SEL Plus, it was beautiful and the seats were very soft and plush, and the front looks great
Hats off to the Koreans! (Again)
love Korea.
I don't think people who think this looks like a fish have ever gone fishing or seen a fish for that matter. This does not look like a fish, very few fish are this wide and this low in height. This is not what a fish looks like.
My first car was an 05 hyundai sonata. Still one of my most favorite cars i have ever owned. This makes me want to get the 2020 model.
I just bought an SEL in Stormy Sea a week ago. What an amazing vehicle! Let me tell you guys, this video does not do this color justice.
Frank Benally that’s exactly the car I’m going for when I have enough money in like 3 years😅
Edit:
I’m getting the 2021 Hyundai Elantra this fall instead hahaha
It does not at all I just got the same 2 weeks ago! Definitely is packed with so much for the price!
Hows the bose sound system?
@@kimonnoel8659 I have an SEL with the Bose system and it sounds amazing. Even at around volume 5 you feel immersed to your music. I'd highly recommend it.
21:35 when you realize there's 3rd person because you were so focus on their conversations
this is basically a World War at the moment between Honda and Toyota with Tesla dominating the segment by far at the moment both now and going forward. Sonata an amazing vehicle no doubt.
Stopped by a Hyundai Dealership while I'm traveling for business. They had the dark blue limited with black interior in stock. It's gorgeous in person, both inside and out. The interior is so impressively well put together and the design is delightful to experience.
my mother leased a Sonata back in about 2013? i don’t really remember when, but i do remember not liking the way it looked. but damn, this sonata is stunningly beautiful. the front looks so mean.
Lovely catfish face sedan! The lights on the hood makes it unique.
Not alot of sedans at this price range offer a beige leather interior. For that alone this beats all other cars in its class for me.
It ages badly, but hey that's your choice lol
Can’t wait till you get your hands on the 2021 Kia Optima!
If the interior of that car looks similar to this one, it will be the better choice.
pit1209 it does. Check it out. It’s been unveiled already. ua-cam.com/video/lqfQP5HGIxw/v-deo.html
I’m an engineer at the plant that will build them! I’m so excited to eventually get that model when I’m finished paying for my sonata. The front/rear end had me sooooold 😩👌🏾
MusicLover94 will there also be a GT trim with a 2.0 or a 2.5 turbo engine with more power than its predecessor?
Oscar Lopez No idea whatsoever. We don’t know any specifications. Sorry!
I've had my 2021 Sonata SEL Plus in Calypso Red for a couple weeks now and absolutely love it! I have the Technology Package and 19" wheels. It definitely stands out in a parking lot. 👍
Hey Redline. I just bought myself a 2020 Hyundai Sonata SEL Plus 1.6T and I love this car. I had a 2011 Sonata before this one and I am very impressed. Thanks for this review. Sonata is definitely moving in the right direction.
Great choice this car looks awesome
I do like this guy as a reviewer of cars. He's very good. Keep it up.
Omg🙌🏽👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾Hyundai I AM FLOOOOORD.I am also very pissed that Ford didn't do this first instead of killing off the Fusion 🤦🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️.
cordney hill Fusion could have been a great car
Bring back the fusion
The 2015-2020 Ford Fusion is the most reliable midsize sedan from a US automaker in many years despite having a hiccup in the 2013 model year. Ford should do a top-down redesign with a tablet-style infotainment screen from the new Ford Explorer. An Ecoboost hybrid with 225 hp with a 1.5L Atkinson cycle EcoBoost L4 would be awesome.
It literally looks like somebody was redesigning the old Sonata and when they were doing that silver line that runs down the side as they got to the front they sneeze went through the headlight and then made a check and was like oh that'll do 💀
Royce Porter Had to read that twice & then lmao 😂😂
I bought a Hyundai excel in 1989,they've definitely come a long way. Good job Hyundai!
One thing I can say about Hyundai/kia.. They don't mind redesigning a car unlike most car companies that have the same body style for 10 years
I have owned 2012 Sonata Turbo and bought new the 2017 turbo and I'm so looking forward to buying this new 2020 version.I love the Sonata's great cars . But I will wait for the N line to come out
Love the review! Miss the first person angle for interior details.
Of course I get a notification for this video while watching another redline video😂
About to go get one, this is a beautiful daily car to drive and real affordable. Great job. Those lights are one of a kind.
Of all the features this car has, the fact that it blows cool air over your phone is the tipping point for me. Great review btw
I’m glad i waited to upgrade from my 2014 sonata. Hyundai might be seeing me soon.
How has your 2014 Sonata hold up? Did it have any issues? Im nervous about buying a hyundai
@@MGSROCKS1 Hyundai has a 10 year warranty.
@@MGSROCKS1 My 2013 Elantra has held up incredibly well 150,000 miles later.
Hyundai has come a long way. Just look at this car, it's beautiful. I'll definitely take a look at it, but I've also seen the upcoming 2021 KIA Optima and it looks just as sexy.
The wind noise could be coming from the giant sunroof.
I love your reviews. Always giving the most realistic/accurate/objective information. The blooper portion was really funny
The front for looks is OK. The rear.....WOW, knocked it out of the park!!! Rear has that Camry look from the 90's with rear lights running the width of the car...… I really missed that look.
I’m binge watching these 2020 cars and they’re getting better and better. I’m really loving this Hyundai, I wonder which car I’ll land on next.😌😍
αƒɾσ ʆαϯίηα me too! I want this car so badly! Hopefully I’ll be able to finance it by the end of the year
I just saw someone driving this car yesterday, it really is a beautiful car. Very elegant look. The headlights is very striking and unique design.
Hyundai Kia are doing amazing😁 if I ever become a car designer this is what I would do. Make affordable cars with upscale interiors and features it will blow the competition out the water. I like Mitsubishi to but they seriously lack compared to Hyundai they need to take notes lol😆
the guy with the camera did an ecstatic job
The design of the car is way more better than Audi's A4 for me.
Love the interior. Can't wait to see your review on the N version!
I may have found my baby girl's graduation gift.
Hsquared a brand new car is a terrible gift. Put that money in an asset that goes up in value!
@@billd5211 Thank you, but I have a financial advisor who actually knows my situation.
@@ShogunOfHarlem Haha well said!
That's a good way to teach your kid financial skills: buy them all new stuff without them working for it and buying it on their own. No wonder western countries have nothing but spoiled kids with no real skills anymore! Especially compared to the youth in Eastern nations. I really noticed this sort of parenting phenomen in the west when I moved here to Daegu.
First of all, all of you that have something negative to say you don't know what financial situation Hsquared is in. If they want to buy their baby girl a brand new, safe car that's their decision. Your opinion means nothing. We always put our kids in the cheapest and most unsafe vehicles. This article has some scary numbers. www.iihs.org/news/detail/teens-are-the-riskiest-drivers-but-they-drive-the-least-safe-vehicles
When my daughters start driving, they will get the newest safest cars. It's a very cheap price to pay for their safety.
I hope your daughter loves her new car Hsquared! She deserves it 😊
Believe me this thing looks a million times better in person
The interior was looking great until I saw the steering wheel.....
When I sat in one at my dealer, while it is unsightly, it is ergonomically sound. It fits very well in your hand no matter where you hold it
That steering wheel appears to be inspired
by European luxury counterparts (Audi & BMW)
the wheel is the best thing!
Nice sound of door closing is probably because it's name just as Beethoven Moonlight Sonata
You can program how and when you lane assist corrects w speed or delay. Cool features, nfc digital car no keys needed. Love it.
That headlight design is stunning.
Looking forward to see what the industry does with this.
I just bought this car. It's an amazing vehicle.
Hannibal Hector which trim?
@@jeremyn2008 Limited 1.6T
Is this an overkill for newbie drivers and can be used for Uber?
@@elletangere8964 you definitely don't need all of the features it has as a newer driver. They are great to have, but they sometimes get annoying with all the beeping the car does for every little thing you do. As for uber, I wouldn't want to use this car for that purpose. Maybe a lower trim. I just wouldn't want to put that kind of wear on a $35k+ vehicle.
Hannibal Hector I thought this was less than 25K (SE)? Do you think an Elantra or a Forte would be better for me?
I love the rear ... looks great, super LED tail lights. I think it's brilliant.
My family has soft spot for Hyundai Sonata. Will you be doing review on hybrid version?
The digital keys is where you can set up the key on your phone . You can leave your key set at home and use your phone as the key . I just bought this car last week ! Loving everything about it so far 🥰
Just got my 2020 sonata sel yesterday and could not be happier!
