    Okay I’m just 2 minutes in but the inversion method works girlies 😭 I used to do that back in highschool every night and omg the hair growth was insane! Get your oil and massage your scalp then hang with your head over the edge of the bed for 5 minutes. I’m going to start this back up!

    I LOVE how you dropped the importance of bringing God into our hair journey. Some people may find this insignificant, but He has to be a part of everything, especially those aspects requiring any sort of growth. Also, do you mind sharing what specific exfoliating brands you recommend? Thank you!!

    The hair grows on its own. We need to retain length, which means the ends are not breaking off the length that has been gained. It’s like growing and inch but an inch withers away from the ends because there dry and not sealed, the result is ur hair stays the same length. I do appreciate the video though.

    • @EfikZara
      @EfikZara  3 місяці тому

      The hair does indeed grow on its own but you can optimize the hair growth with topical treatments applied to the scalp, beyond just retaining length. The skin of the scalp is permeable. Certain nutrients applied topically, as well as a stimulus to improve blood flow and absorption, can increase the amount of hair that grows from your scalp, each month,

    I've heard of the derma roller being used for stimulation but have been hesitant because I haven't seen women with Afro textured hair using it. I'm concerned with the needles getting tangled in my hair, so I would definitely appreciate a tutorial please 😊

    Yoga is a religion? I've practiced yoga for over 40 years and I know it can be practiced purely as a secular, non-religious, physical activity, with the purpose of making the body healthier. There are different paths or limbs of yoga, with one limb, hatha yoga, focused purely on asanas or postures. The goal of physical yoga is to take care of this body God gave us, and to make the body better able to pursue spiritual or religious work, which is hard to do when you're sick, in pain, and breaking down with disease. In the U.S., the vast majority who practice physical yoga are Christian. Of course, some yoga teachers combine their physical yoga class with some religious aspects of yoga, and I can see how that might bother some, but that's not necessary.

    • @EfikZara
      @EfikZara  5 місяців тому +7

      Thank you for your thoughtful comment. I appreciate the depth of your experience and the perspective you bring. As an American myself, well-versed in the various manifestations of yoga back home, I understand how yoga is commonly practiced as a non-religious, physical discipline aimed at enhancing physical health. Indeed, the physical benefits of yoga, including improved strength, flexibility, and stress reduction, are well-documented and widely acknowledged.
      However, it’s important to also recognize the spiritual origins of yoga and its significance beyond just physical postures. Yoga’s roots are deeply entwined with Hindu spiritual practices and philosophies. While the physical aspects, like asanas and pranayama, can certainly stand alone as health-enhancing exercises, the traditional context of yoga includes spiritual elements aimed at integrating body, mind, and spirit.
      The practice of yoga, much like the recitation of sacred texts in religious contexts, carries an inherent depth of meaning and intention. Whether one engages with these aspects or not, the spiritual underpinnings of yoga influence its practice and interpretation. This doesn’t negate the fact that many in the U.S., including Christians, practice yoga in a way that aligns with their own spiritual or secular views.
      Given this context, and as a Christian myself, I have decided to opt for Pilates, which is rooted more in scientific principles of physical rehabilitation rather than spiritual practice. This aligns better with my personal beliefs and goals. Yoga offers profound benefits and flexibility in practice, but I find Pilates to be more aligned with my preferences for a purely physical and health-focused regimen.

      @@BionAvastar3000 but aren't they just herbs we find freely on earth? Isn't it like not wanting to use salt on your food because certain people use it for ungodly purposes?

      @BionAvastar3000 5 місяців тому

      @@ellemm9920 If you read my initial comment, I said "ayurvedic haircare practices." You can use any herbs any way you want, it is the PRACTICES I am avoiding.
      To expand upon your salt analogy, Salt = good. Using salt in superstitious rituals, like throwing it over your shoulder to ward off bad luck or making salt circles to "protect" against the supernatural = not good.
      Hope that makes sense.
