I usually just went back and forth to Saigon square and Ben Thanh market. We went to some other markets but they were not popular like the two mentioned above.

Only get aisle seating when flying internationally so you can get up and stretch at any given time…And always carry a 12 to 16 oz empty water bottle so you can have water on plane. Just empty the bottle when you need to go through security check. Never throw the bottle away! You will need it!
The scene of hustling street vendors like these people happened generations for hundreds of years, if not thousands of years. Vietnam will remain a third world slum for generations to come because of the slum and corrupt mindset of the culture. Speaking as a Vietnamese who live in Vietnam. So sad.

I usually go in January now. I’m going to Hanoi in January and think that’s my last trip to Vietnam. Thinking Thailand or Indonesia.
