Thank you 🙏🏻 I hope to improve more on my Cantonese in Vietnam. You can visit Chinatown, district 5 to converse in Cantonese. Just try to order your food in Cantonese and locals who speak Cantonese will come and have a chat with you 🙏🏻😊

@@bernardwangg cool, i wanted to know more about the wise debit card if i can use it to pay for local things in VN such as a Grab/rideshare ? i try to have other cashless options while in Vn in case i cannot open up a bank account since i'm a foreingner.

@@Boobooli Most local stores accepts only cash or VN QR code payment - streetfood, street food shops, local small shops. Convenience store, supermarket, shopping malls accepts Visa and Mastercard which means you can use your WISE and YOUTRIP cards.
Some restaurants and hotels might charge you extra 3% for using Visa/ Mastercard.
For Grab, i am using my visa card from another Singapore bank but you can try your WISE card since the app supports visa/mastercard, very handy when you book your taxi from airport. NEVER get a cab outside of the app, there are many scams! NEVER follow anyone saying they are your driver before sighting their mobile phone's booking details. I posted a video on taxi scam in VN before.
Look out for VP Bank and TPBank for one of lowest withdrawal fee.
      Enjoy your trip :D

@@Boobooli I strongly suggest you to have 2 Travel debit cards to spend and withdraw since free withdrawal have a monthly cap.
