Hi Mark,
That tool app I think is a fantastic idea, great idea for tools in garages or sheds too, thank you for the information.
It was also great to see how you fitted the free standing bath taps and yes, that bathroom looks fantastic, another triumph.
Hope you had a great time at the installer show, it was a pleasure to meet you and have a few minutes chat, thank you for the gift 😉.
A great film as always, have a great week, take care, regards, Chris. 👍👍👍
Yep the app is a great tool to have, I think I will be very useful.

Oops I’ve commented in the wrong place…cool video though
Stunning work Mark, looks like you have a great day assembled. Loved the tip with the cardboard thanks 👍
Thanks buddy👍🏼👍🏼
Another great job completed, great shout out about tool theft I’ve downloaded the app registered and will start my inventory tomorrow. Was great to see you at the installer show and have a chat. Look forward to the next project
Thanks mate great to meet you, the app is superb mate…. Really clever 👌🏼👌🏼
Brilliant! Together we can #StickOneUpToToolTheft 🔒🛠✊
Mark you should be proud of yourself. What a fantastic job you have made of both bathrooms, just a shame you have to explain yourself about the 4 inch waste, I would of done the same like you as taking it through the wall would of been a right eyesore same with having to explain the short 15's to the taps off the 22 feeds which won't make any difference. After 30 years I'm sure you know what your doing well you clearly do by the high quality of workmanship. Well done buddy 👍😁
Thanks Adie….. yep sometimes it’s worth just mentioning these things in the videos before the “internet plumbing police” come at you from behind the keyboard in the basement of there mum and dads house🤣🤣
Great work Mark. 99%. Chrome screws in radiator ..100%. 😇. Seriously , another great upload 👍🏻
Thanks buddy….. 👍🏼👍🏼
Amazing job again Mark hope you had a good installers show

Crackin job as always mate. I learned something new with the free standing taps over the bath. Me and my mate are doing a similar job next week and he said you know how to do them don't ya? Yeah dun loads! Now I do lol. 40yo and still learning, have a great week Fat plumber from Barnsley
Thanks Gary…. Always good to pass on bits of info for everyone👍🏼👍🏼
Top draw mate, excellent job, well done
Thanks buddy
Looks a lovely job Mark, love to see nice work. Occasionally you see great work, but more often than not, when I drive around or go to price a job, I see crap work turned out. Another great job, you should be very proud of that job, and your work ethic, atb Adam 👍
Thanks Adam…. Appreciate that mate
Nice bathroom Mark.
Thanks Jason👍🏼👍🏼
Nice job mark really smart bathroom
Thanks Daniel👍🏼👍🏼

Looks great Mark well done sir!!
Thank mate🙌🏼🙌🏼
Absolutely stunning 👏👏👍
Thanks Paul….. looks great doesn’t it
Cracking job mate 👍👏
Thanks buddy
Looks brill mate! 👍👍
Thanks mate 👍🏼👍🏼
Great content as per bud👍🏻 Like the look of that app. My gear is insured with on my van insurance, however I’ve heard horror stories where they won’t pay out if you don’t provide serial numbers etc. is that a unilite slr 1750 in your inventory? £80! You were robbed mate I’d be having a word😂
Yer the app will work alongside you current insurance aswell as they can look at it if the worse happnes
Looks great, good work!
Thanks mate
Nice job mark, one question, why didn’t you just use push fit tap connector straight onto the pipes?
Would not fit within the chrome tap shrouds👍🏼
Wicked job mark job looks good and the boxing worked out really good I thought It might look a bit rubbish but now it has been tiled the whole room looks amazing
My only issue really is everything is white and the toilet seat is black 🤣 other then that another brilliant bathroom and another happy customer for yourself.
Thanks John… yer it worked a treat…
The seat is grey and works with the grey in the floor tiles👍🏼👍🏼
@@MJTiffPlumbing sorry mate it looked black on the video am going to have now go back and watch it 😂
Great job. Need you down here. 😀
Thankyou 🙏🏼🙏🏼
another informative interesting watch 👍
Thanks buddy 👍🏼👍🏼
He’s back boi 💯💯💯💯💯
Hahahaa
really impressed with that bathroom suite looked class 👌 bending skills on point it's known as the plumbers eye 👁 👌 good job
Yep indeed mate… thanks buddy
When you solder a copper swivel or tap connector, whatever you wanna call it, you take off the washer to avoid melting during soldering and do you take into account the 2/3 mm space it is gonna take maybe by unscrewing it a tiny bit before soldering? Maybe if the pipes have play under the floor to go up and down a bit you don't need it but if it was a concrete floor? Hope the question is clear enough and thanks advance.
Have you thought to use kinetic wireless switches for bathroom lights and extractor fans avoids pull switches
Nope…. I leave that to my electrition
Great install 👌
Noticed you used a shallow seal trap on the bath off of the soil stack, can be prone to self siphonage & trap loss, leading to smell.
I've normally fitted the likes of a HepVo valve so I know I wint get that happening especially as you can't really get access , just an idea is all. What I use to get under the bath is the Win bags you pump up great for jobs like that.
Awaiting the next install fella 👍
Glad you enjoyed it mate…. Never had an issue with these traps to be honest, only really happens when you have to great a fall on the Pipework 👍🏼
Is it possible by any means to replace regular joists with metal web ones so that you can go with 4 inches pipe under floorboards even perpendicular to the joist as they are empty in the webs?
I guess if you wanted to rip the floor up and do it, and also add a huge amount to the bill!!!!
@@MJTiffPlumbing Thanks for your reply
Although it's 30+ mins long. That vid went to quick. As the saying goes...
"Time fly's when"........ Great vid mucker. 🔥
Thanks Tommy 👌🏼👌🏼👍🏼👍🏼
🤘😎🤘Great video as always 👍🤓👍
Evening mate….🙌🏼🙌🏼

What stops the Bath from moving about. Just curious. Is it just the weight?
Yep it’s a heavy bath, obviously don’t smash into it but all freestanding baths can move about
Quality Plumbing Job .
Thanks Robert👍🏼👍🏼
Nice job there MJ, did you get your piece of card out 😊.
Worst thing about the tool theft is they are mostly sold for the price of a drug bag 😠. Last time my van was done they nicked two brand new Roth torches I'd never used and still cry about it too this day 😞.
Hey mate….. yep cardboard is out….
The app is a great inventory for your tools..
You should replace the lights with Unilites…. 25% off😉 you know the drill
@@MJTiffPlumbing
Rothenburg gas torches mate, in a nice case!
Hi, do you know roughly the size of that bathroom? Mime looks a very similar size and I'd like to do it the same.
Think it was around 2.5m square from memory👍🏼
Hi why no extractor fan ??? great job
Customer didn’t want one…. No shower on this bathroom so not really an issue
looks mint 👍
Thanks pal
Looks great. Did they not want an extractor fan fitted ?
Nope, they didn’t want one and as it hasn’t a shower in there it’s not really an issue
Nice job overall. Where is the bathtub overflow connected?
Internally fitted in the bath
Great job mate👍,did you secure bath by putting clear silicone around bottom edge to stop movement.
Not on this one mate, it’s very heavy and doesn’t move so the customer wanted it left without silicone…. It can ruin the look sometimes to be honest
Lol sure I mentioned that little trick of putting cardboard under bath to spot drips ....👍
It’s a great little trick, you may of done and it’s something I’ve done for years with tissue/cardboard etc etc
Nice job Mark. That bathroom s finished really well. Not my taste but lovely all the same
Thanks buddy
Great bud Mark.
We’re those couplers onto 15mm copper with a 22mm reducer on the top?
Indeed they were mate👍🏼👍🏼
tool theft, I've been a victim, I've been on sites where the scum bags have rocked up trying to sell stolen tools and the sad thing is lots of trades bought them for peanuts. if there isn't a market for stolen tools then it would virtually stop it happening , but sadly it won't happen
Completely agree mate, just take a look at your local car boot sales on Sunday mornings
I agree. Do you think it should be a crime to knowingly handle or own stolen tools as well?
@@armd_against_tool_theft already is an offence to receive and handle stolen goods , police don’t seem too bothered to pursue it tho
What spanners do you use that don't mark the chrome.thanks Gareth
I use bacho adjustables
Mark what push fittings and pipe you using? What's your views on push fit in general?
I use Polypipe from Plumbase mate.
Personally I don’t see an issue with it in areas you don’t see, when Pipework is on show it should be copper imho👍🏼👍🏼
The joists go the same way as the soil dont they? Going by the previous videos..
You ain’t getting 4” pipe and a fall under a 4” joist floor👍🏼
Doubt it would ever be a 4" joist, deffo doesn't look it in the videos. 1" per metre, fall on the soil across a 1.6m run, could have been done imo 🤷♂️
I had 5 toilets arrived smashed from Victoria plumb once 🤣
Joke ain’t they……
If you dont mind me asking, how long did this take and how much profit did you make on this?
The 2 bathrooms from start to finish took around a month, that’s including all stripping out/plastering/electrics/tiling etc etc etc
I’d say £7000 for both bathrooms excluding fittings , because that’s what I would charge 😁
Judith Charmers 😄 you do realise all the younger viewers will be saying who!!!!
🤣🤣🤣
Are you able to show a job where you have to rip out all the old iron & lead pipe and change it to copper
Before you are able to fit a new bathroom.
Or is that something you haven’t done to mm perfect ?
I will if and when I get one mate
Is there something wrong with the right hand light next to the mirror as it kept going off but other then that great job
It’s due to the frame rate on the camera….. shows the flickering but in real life it’s fine👌🏼👌🏼
@@MJTiffPlumbing oh good the last thing you need is an upset sparky lol
Nice to have a Sunday video again, thanks for sharing, and thanks for sharing your journey at the installer show via instagram. Great watching 👍
Ps Do you ever drop some sealer at the bottom of those baths thats are not as heavy to hold them in place?
If they move around you can but this one is solid and the customer didn’t want any of not needed… glad you enjoyed it mate
Job looks a good’un.
Chrome fittings mangled with a spanner 😪 in my own experience I’ve just placed some electrical tape and then used the spanners
No mangled chrome on this job mate, they are flat spanner’s and leave no marks….
It looks really great 👍 👍👍
Thanks mate👍🏼👍🏼
i literally do every single job in this bathroom reno...inflation aint touched me yet ;0
Good man👍🏼
Another silly question dose your tiler have a UA-cam page?
No mate….. I keep telling him to get one😉
@@MJTiffPlumbing yep he dose very good work would be great to see how he plans out jobs and how to do it
Do you use the black inserts or the metal with the hep pipe bud
This is Polypipe and it uses the black inserts buddy👍🏼👍🏼
@@MJTiffPlumbing cheers bud, my bad that’s what I meant 🤥🤥
Banging
Thanks mate
looks superb m8 great editing to not show all the leaks from the bath 🤣🤣just joking lol
🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️……. Very strange comment mate tbh..
@@MJTiffPlumbing joking m8 just said you edited all the leaks from the bath lol
Fastest thing on 2 wheels....?
A Victoria Plumb courier van taking a corner.
Hahahaha so so true
