- In this video i was given this mower that wont start after being sat in a garden for 4 years,
I had to replace the fuel cap & clean the carburettor and spark plug to get it working.

Great video ...I've just got my mower working again thanks to your tutorial.
however, I think I'll need to replace the gaskets in the Carb the next time around the 'o' ring was flattened and I'm sure the gasket was missing from the carb end that meets the main engine.
can you suggest where I can get the carb kit for mine. It's a Mountfield SP534 model 51cm cut.

Nice and easy to fix Roy. Im waiting to see you do the stationary engine, Imbthinking of getting one at some point, they make a great sound. If you haven't seen it already there's a video on UA-cam of a bloke that's fitted a stationary engine to a motorbike.
i say its stationary because its not on anything to run but it prob off a cement mixer or a wacker plate but i am also want a proper one to restore
They come up for a couple of hundred quid already running. I will bide my time as im not working at the minute. Once im back to work I'll look seriously.

Roy’s the boy interesting looking project without lawn more! The. Carb cleaner you used. Is it just for lawnmowers only? I have a question serious what do lawnmowers Engines supposed to sound like?
