With Dolby Atmos and handy audio modes, the Polk Signa S4 is a great soundbar for medium-sized rooms that was convenient home-theater audio.

Can I connect this via Bluetooth to my smart projector?
Thank you for a wonderful and honest review of this unit . My living space is very small and this is what I was looking for . The price range and function is just what I need. Thanks again.👍🏾
You cant spoil a star wars movie thats been out for 6 years.
Sonos Beam gen 2 or polk signa s4 ?
I'm torn between the same 2 as well lol
How do you get the green light to come on just for Dolby.
Hey, can the status led be disabled when watching?
Can't understand why Polk and JBL don't have treble adjustments..only base.
It's bass not base.
Totally agree with you. I want treble adjustment too.
I'm considering this and the Dennon S517. Which one would you pick?
same thing I believe only a different name
Has anybody bought this as a dedicated gaming speaker? I’m torn between an atmos soundbar or dual speakers.
I'm going for an Atmos soundbar for both gaming and music/movie output.
Thank you for this video..... I have tried multiple different sound bars ranging from Vizio 2.1 V series, Vizio 5.1.2 M series, the JBL 5.1, the ZVOX 2.0, Klipsch 2.1 Media, Bose 2.1 Home theater experience, and last the Pol Signa S4. The Signa S4 in our main living room has been amazing... My only issues with the bar is the wall mount sucks and at $400 new, why does it not have any HDMI inputs? As for my basement home theater the Vizio M series 5.1.2 has been a dream for under $500. I was lucky and got the Signa S4 for $200 and the Vizio M series for $288.
How did you get the s4 for that cheap?
@@lookbehindyou8260theres a prime deal going on for only today , its going for 239.40
@@lookbehindyou8260cheap I paid 150?
@@lookbehindyou8260oh thought you meant the 400
@@scads7994paid 150 euros for a show model for mine
How bout you crank up the bass and speaker and play some damn music let's actually hear it
Getting an idea of how a speaker sounds after it's been recorded with a microphone, compressed by UA-cam, then played out through your own phone or PC? Makes sense.
Is the sound pretty immersive?
Unfortunately, the Polk always plays with all speakers via ARC and Bluetooth, so no pure stereo possible with music.
Or is mine defective?
I love my s2
so if you use a normal HDMI or optical connection, how many speakers inside the soundbar work ?
Some of them for sure! 😅
How does it compare against a Sonos Beam 2?
Beam blows this out of the water, especially when paired with a new Sub mini.
Why no HDMI input like my older Yamaha to not waste the HDMI ARC tv input?
Hdmi 2.1?
Does it support 4k/120 f ?
I may be incorrect but I think you would have to send your source to the TV via 2.1 and then audio only out to the soundbar via eARC. The soundbar would have nothing to do with the resolution or framerate.
I still have my signa s1 and its fantastic.... I have never felt the need to change/ upgrade it.
How do get the green light indicator on, it's either white or blue for me.
Same for me but mine is connected to hdmi arc but if you use aux or optical it goes green.
support 4k 120hz ?
Hi Sir! Thanks your review the system. What is the brand of your two lamps on the side of TV ? Thanks
Philips hue
Definitely getting mine because I still got my Polk speakers big and bookshelf since they first came out 👍👍👍, love it 😎😎😎
Thanks a lot for the review. Does it also bring good sound without subwoofer? Can you use it with two rear speakers? Without failures or change the sound mode (see Soundbar + from Bluesound) And very important: BT headphones and sound over the speakers simultaneously possible
Worth every penny. I have an S2 since 2019 and it out performs most modern soundbars.
What's better this or bose 600
Soundbars are all garbage, get real high-quality speakers
How does it compare to the majority sierra plus?
So no Atmos over optical?
No it's not fast enough for Dolby Atmos
How does this compare to the LG S75Q ?
Very helpful. Thanks.
is it bluetooth
What is better optical or hdmi for connection?
If you want atmos you need to use Hdmi Arc as optical can't transmit it..
How's the bass?
Thank you for the review. Question for you; I just got this product and running for a few days. I notice that the intervals between volume selections are rather large, so big jumps between volume settings that don't allow me to find the desired volume. Is this something you've experienced? Or could it be a result of the way I may have the settings currently? Thanks for your input!
I just got mine today I have it connected through an optical cord and I am experiencing the same thing some times it super loud compared to other times. I don't have that issue on my signa s2
@@jtm3824 You're using optical cable? Why? Don't you want the Dolby Atmos experience of this bar... because it only works through HDMI. Just an HDMI cable needed.
have a s2 and i love that one. but now here the signa s4 is a bit cheaper so i will renew my sound system.
give the s2 to my mother ❤ she happy me happy 🎉
Doesn't this need HDMI eARC to fully use the Atmos, and regular HDMI ARC offers a limited or enhanced Atmos-like sound experience?
Yes it does... an HDMI connection from its eARC port to the eARC port on a compatible modern TV.
Pro tip. If you're going to review a sound system, then let your audience actually "hear" the sound of that system.
This was more just you yacking, and showing mostly your face.
Is DOBLY a new format? :)
🤦♂️lol
