This is the Best Exp Farm Spot for ME. You can use here Gachiin's Spiritfall or Sugar but don't have to.
For every run you are getting around 8478 Exp, it should take around 1 minute and 40 seconds.
You can repeat it as many times as you want.

If you reach later on in the game when The Ministry attacks Ashina, you can go to the Ashina Outskirts - Stairway idol and backstab a bunch of the Red Guards in quick succession. Each gives about 2000 EXP and two of them gives 4000.

If you intentionally leave the ogre alive I believe it is way faster to kill the initial purple ministry elite, like you did, then drop down and grapple on the beam and immediately use Homeward Idol to go back to the Antechamber idol. The ogre will (most of the time) kill the 2 red guards while you are teleporting. This nets 11408 EXP (NG+3) in about 30 seconds or so.

@@grumpy_forest Thanks, got it from LilAggy's 4h15m All Achievements speedrun, don't know where he got it from. It's optimal for speedrunning cause 1/3rd of the time spent is in loading screen, which, for obvious reasons, does not run up the clock. Not sure if it's the best for normal grinding, but I used it to grind the last few levels for the final achievement to get 100%.

I trained in the Divine realm. It's more of a challenge and it'll get you a mountain of XP.

I'll give it a shot, I saw a different route that went through all of ashina outskirts but that's way too much. this seems more manageable
