The only cheese I used was for demon of hatred . BTW if u think sekiro is torture ! Try keyboard and mouse for it like its insane !!! You can't avoid so smoothly as u do in controller so its all about parry-counter-aggressive gameplay which gets u the kill . "THE TRUE SHURA WAY" and imagine aggressive play with owl or isshin like they will one shot at the slightest of opportunity.. But it was fun,worth every penny of mine

@@thenerd7392 I beat sword saint in like 4 tries, but inner isshin took me about 20-25. In my opinion, he's significantly harder. Higher damage, more combos, longer combos, several new attacks designed to catch badly timed dodges and blocks; I think he's a big step up.

For further reference against true monk, you can afford to attack 4 times with that cheese method when using ash/fire crackers. It gives you just enough time to reuse the ash without taking damage
I managed to get True Monk to vanish during the second phase, completely skipping the need to go to the third all together. Thank you, this shit is hilarious.
I just practiced against inner isshin for the past 2 days straight finally being able to defeat his first stage every time and second stage 98% of the time, always seem to die because of having run into a rock while dodging the new move, after dying about 150 times to this turd I finally feel I can beat him with this mortal blade technique since I now see his every move, now to the guantlet for more torture. I felt no change I'm my skill against him until I noticed I could make it to his third stage every time today, where yesterday I'd be lucky to make it to the second stage 1 out of 10 tries. Practice does make perfect but it literally is muscle memory with mental focus, forgetting to breathe in the 3rd stage sometimes gets me mashing the wrong button at the wrong time, 1 hit death from this prick. I'm about to bust his ass and became slipknots new band member.
this is what sekiro should be. it happened to me for the inner genechiro where need to parry perfectly. well in one of the fight i managed to pulled off and finish the gauntlet of strength. yay

Once I beat owl father I went and beat isshin within the hr also and the next day I beat the game 4 times. Ridiculous how awesome the game is in that it actually requires skill to complete. So much focus and quick thinking and practice to actually beat. I'm glad there was no online multiplayer to help ppl beat the game, instead everyone had to rely on mastering each enemy. I was almost slightly ashamed to say how it took me almost 7 months to beat it the 1st time. But once beaten I have now beaten every single thing in the game and it's become one of my all time favorites
bit late but if you use empowered mortal draw for guardian ape, run up and do the charged attack for both swings of mortal draw. it should stagger him so you can get 1 full charged hit on him. then firecracker and do it again, really easy way to win
Firecracker and 3 charged mortal draws in a row will be enough to beat first phase 90% of the time as long as you pop a Yashi beforehand. If you use the Tanto beforehand, you'll still have 14 emblems left; making this the most efficient cheese for phase 1.
Great, overall. However, you can easily beat Ishins first form by breaking his posture if you master the deflects against him. Draining his health the way you did takes forever.
Cheese isn't necessarily the quickest method of killing a boss, it's generally the method that allows you to ignore the boss' mechanics to the greatest extent.

I found the Owl "cheese" much harder than just fighting him. If you're good enough to get him and keep him in the corner .. twice, I've no idea why you have trouble dodging his super telegraphed attacks.
The biggest issue with owl is that his posture builds up extremely slowly, and he doesn't give you many windows for vitality damage aside from those heavy overhead slices, so a lot of people struggle with him when they first fight him because he wears you down over time if you haven't mastered the fight.
@@nxvh9062 I don't think that's true. You can interrupt or punish many of his attacks. The cheese works here exactly because you can interrupt almost every regular attack he has. He does the debuff/poison drop regularly, which you can always either dodge through or circle around and hit him for vitality (depending on spacing). Like any other major boss, it's all about learning the timing and spacing of their attacks. Owl isn't particularly easy, I was just saying if you're good enough to maneuver him into that little corner by the door, you probably can just fight him straight up and win.

Ez strat is to just run in circles around him and bait attacks, u can get 1 hit in after every move he makes except the quick double slash. If you parry his combos will keep going, but if u avoid he never slices more than twice in anything before he stops
I only managed to do the owl cheese but for the others I practiced in the reflection of strength until I can almost no hit them and I finally did it I can’t believe it now I can go to ng+ and get shura ending and shura gauntlet then get the skin :)
to make it easier and save spirit emblems you could use sakura dance when isshin or genichiro use lighting as it only cost one emblem and it reflects the lighting back at them but youll need to complete divine heir gauntlet first
I just use high monk on genichiro allot of the bosses now it's super underrated sure you get hit some times, but for everyone you land it is such a good combat art
On my plus 3 I killed 6 bosses without dying I was like I should probably die so I can get my resurrection finally, anyway all the way up to the first genichiro fight I didn't need to even use a Resurrection l thought for a second I didn't take the charm,then realized oh yeah I have to get killed to get the little black cutscene screen with kuri saying live siekro! Basically anyway I find it kind of odd that it actually doesn't cost any Spirit emblems for how good it actually is

Wow, you actually took damage. Otherwise, I might have suspected it was an AI playing. I only tried these once but I died on Inner Geni, Isshin Ashina and Guardian Ape respectively. But I just beat Glock Saint on NG+4 (playthrough 5), so I'm happy. He actually went down in 2 tries. I haven't played since 2020, when I did platinum, but so much muscle memory is still there. I'm sure I will return again one day and push NG+5.
Yea, the good part is these gauntlets don't scale with attack power or new game plus. So once you get good at high difficulty they become a lot easier than you think.

Ive noticed that owl/monk are hit or miss. Owl can escape in his second phase after he throws smoke if he attacks rather than throwing the heal. And with true monk, she’ll stay alive for all 3 full phases whereas shes shown disappearing before her third in this video. Ive successfully demonstrated the cheeses for both monk/owl as shown here but inconsistent results. Is there a way to assure owl stays stuck/monk doesnt stay alive for her final phase?
Monk cheese doesn't work properly anymore he gets out very easily anx will often do a jump directly out of it and wnd phase ash doesn't stop him when he starts to disapear

I feel like the stratagies used for guardian ape isn’t really cheese, the spear mechanic where you pull out the centipede feels like intentional game design and the firecrackers and flame attacks are tools the game gives you

Meh I think it's easier and faster to just do the monk normally. First round just fight it out. Second phase deathblow Thrid phase firecracker stunlock.

I did same thing in the corrupted monk but it was working at first then all out of my health items she just lagged on the edge and I won I'm so confused ha

This one was super easy and I beat it on my first try. Inner g now I had to practice on him LOL it took me several tries to get that new move down. But when I did it was all over

@@a1ggelos Nah, It's not you can still get those tools on your first run, If you're struggling with some of them I suggest watch a tutorial on yt.
