Hijab is for men and women. Women are definitely not punished because men are weaker. The blame is entirely on men! The first thing the Quran commanded is for men to lower their gaze. Doesn’t matter if the women is dressed modestly or not If they don’t do that it’s on them, as we know men will stare at you even if u fully covered. Men should be growing out their beards like the Prophet (pbuh) and wear clothes that identify them as Muslims just as women are expected to do. That way they will be recognised and not stared at if they are attractive men. In this day and age you can hardly identify a Muslim man, most don't keep a full long beard and say it's sunnah when it's actually fard! They don't wear a thawb above their ankles but wear jeans and resemble the unbelievers, something the Prophet (pbuh) warned against. You can't have Muslim women covered from head to toe while the Muslim men resemble disbelievers, it's a complete imbalance and inclines women themselves to feel resentful and take off the hijab.

Both men and women are commanded to lower their gaze and "guard their modesty". The most basic interpretation of "guard their modesty" is to cover the private parts, which includes the chest in women . This is what is said in Quran. Why Hijab Is Different for Men and Women: the fact that most of the questions are from christians who are hating on the hijab calling it misogyny while their nuns wear it as well. every woman wore modest clothing until like 1940s. anyways, let me answer this. a man physically is not equal to a Woman. this is an obvious fact. also, a man is a lot more attracted towards a woman than a woman is attracted towards a man. im not saying women arent attracted towards men they obviously are but their reasons are different. Women in general prefer a partner that would stay eith her for a long time they are attracted towards men not because of their physical shape but rather for their personality and charecter etc (ofcourse there are many more factors but we are talking about if a woman would be attracted towards a stranger modest man walking on the road).and yes, men are supposed to cover from their naval to their knees and arent supposed to show their body if it is toned that would seduce a woman. the case isnt the same with women. you see, men are Physically Built in such a way that they would be able to protect, provide, and guide their families and Women are Physically built in a way that would enable them to Nurture, upbring, feed, educate her children. this is one of the reasons why man is Responsible to provide, protect, guard and guide his family and a woman is responsible to upbring, educate, nurture her children. Islam sets this beautiful balance because it is pretty much evident. men and women are different Physically, mentally, what they like, etc. a lot of studies have proved what i just stated. back to the original topic about "Hijab", as i said earlier, a modest man who covers even atleast his awrah wouldnt sexually attract a woman towards him that would threaten the man's safety. whereas, a woman who doesnt observe the hijab and modest clothing (abaayah) would attract men towards her in a lustful way that would potentially threaten her safety. please dont call this "Victim blaming" or something because the purpose of the Hijab/ jilbaab is to make yourself Modest. if a man r4pes a woman (godforbid) who didn't cover, the woman is sinful for not wearing modestly but the man will face lashes or stoning till death. to conclude, the man has a hijab (cover) meaning to cover his awrah but it isn't the same as women because of the obvious reason, Women arent same as men. again, even a naked man would not attract women but a naked woman would attract hundreds of men. there's a reason why women are being payed to remove clothes but are fined to put on clothes (fresh example, France) its not an equality thing here. we can expect equality if both of them were the same. The difference is what men and women are attracted to. Men are attracted to women’s hair a lot more than vice versa among other things may allah forgive me like toes ankles hips etc. So that’s why a woman’s hijab is so restrictive. @@nailanoorein2086 hello, thats not true. women's limits are constricted thus tightly only when it comes to hijab. when it comes to Islam in general, men and women have equally spread obligations, life and limits. Also, women have many obligations lifted from them due to the pain of childbirth and periods they ahve to endure during this lifetime. Take, for example, marriage. Men are in charge of women, meaning they can obey them on *certain* things and it would be a sin if the wife didn't obey. Women have to carry the burden of childbirth as most couples have kids. But also, men are required to do many things in return. It is an obligation to take care of her, provide for her, pay for her food, bills, health care basic needs etc, AND you should offer her an amount of money before getting married called mehr. This is an amount that the wife decides, she can use it for anything she wants. The husband also has to spend some extra money on her too if she wants it, if her mehr finishes, for example, and if the man can afford it. Women dont even have to do all the cooking and cleaning and stuff, it says that nowhere in Islam and duties (whether its household chores or jobs) should be spread equally between wife and husband. Meaning if men go out and are the sole breadwinners of the family that work all day, womem can be stay at home wives. And vice versa. And if both the man and the woman work then the household chores should be split. Knowing all this, I think the roles are quite equal and fair when it comes to marriage in Islam. Similarly, obligations and limits are spread all around and they may be more harsh to women on one and more harsh to men on the other, but all in all. Islam I just and fair. And of course women can go out on their own!! You don't need to go out with a mahram. That being said, if a wali (male guardian living with you, usually Father or husband) tells you not to go out or not to go somewhere you should obey them.

If a girl is giving evil look and stare at a boy badly, then he should lower his gaze? Is this hijab for him? Here I can't see any security of the boy. Because he can't be safe lowering his eyes. When a boy doesn’t even look at her then why does she has to wear hijab? I mean a boy looks at her or nor she always has to wear hijab. But boys are made lucky they don't need to cover WHOLE body. If hijab is made for girls safety, then why there isn’t a proper hijab for boys? Boys are also get raped. Don't you think there should be also a hijab for boys? How can Lowering gaze be a hijab? Men should be growing out their beards like the Prophet (pbuh) and wear clothes that identify them as Muslims just as women are expected to do. That way they will be recognised and not stared at if they are attractive men. In this day and age you can hardly identify a Muslim man, most don't keep a full long beard and say it's sunnah when it's actually fard! They don't wear a thawb above their ankles but wear jeans and resemble the unbelievers, something the Prophet (pbuh) warned against. You can't have Muslim women covered from head to toe while the Muslim men resemble disbelievers, it's a complete imbalance and inclines women themselves to feel resentful and take off the hijab.

Why Hijab Is Different for Men and Women:
the fact that most of the questions are from christians who are hating on the hijab calling it misogyny while their nuns wear it as well. every woman wore modest clothing until like 1940s. anyways, let me answer this. a man physically is not equal to a Woman. this is an obvious fact. also, a man is a lot more attracted towards a woman than a woman is attracted towards a man. im not saying women arent attracted towards men they obviously are but their reasons are different. Women in general prefer a partner that would stay eith her for a long time they are attracted towards men not because of their physical shape but rather for their personality and charecter etc (ofcourse there are many more factors but we are talking about if a woman would be attracted towards a stranger modest man walking on the road).and yes, men are supposed to cover from their naval to their knees and arent supposed to show their body if it is toned that would seduce a woman. the case isnt the same with women. you see, men are Physically Built in such a way that they would be able to protect, provide, and guide their families and Women are Physically built in a way that would enable them to Nurture, upbring, feed, educate her children. this is one of the reasons why man is Responsible to provide, protect, guard and guide his family and a woman is responsible to upbring, educate, nurture her children. Islam sets this beautiful balance because it is pretty much evident. men and women are different Physically, mentally, what they like, etc. a lot of studies have proved what i just stated. back to the original topic about "Hijab", as i said earlier, a modest man who covers even atleast his awrah wouldnt sexually attract a woman towards him that would threaten the man's safety. whereas, a woman who doesnt observe the hijab and modest clothing (abaayah) would attract men towards her in a lustful way that would potentially threaten her safety. please dont call this "Victim blaming" or something because the purpose of the Hijab/ jilbaab is to make yourself Modest. if a man r4pes a woman (godforbid) who didn't cover, the woman is sinful for not wearing modestly but the man will face lashes or stoning till death. to conclude, the man has a hijab (cover) meaning to cover his awrah but it isn't the same as women because of the obvious reason, Women arent same as men. again, even a naked man would not attract women but a naked woman would attract hundreds of men. there's a reason why women are being payed to remove clothes but are fined to put on clothes (fresh example, France) its not an equality thing here. we can expect equality if both of them were the same. Islam is a religion of justice, we can only expect justice when two people are different.

The difference is what men and women are attracted to. Men are attracted to women’s hair a lot more than vice versa among other things may allah forgive me like toes ankles hips etc. So that’s why a woman’s hijab is so restrictive. Lowering the gaze is for both genders. Similarly watching the na mehram is prohibited unless it is necessary. These protocols are the solutions of every problem. If you are very much desperate, you should follow strict protocols. Try to go towards the solutions not towards increasing the problems.

@@nailanoorein2086 hello, thats not true. women's limits are constricted thus tightly only when it comes to hijab. when it comes to Islam in general, men and women have equally spread obligations, life and limits. Also, women have many obligations lifted from them due to the pain of childbirth and periods they ahve to endure during this lifetime. Take, for example, marriage. Men are in charge of women, meaning they can obey them on *certain* things and it would be a sin if the wife didn't obey. Women have to carry the burden of childbirth as most couples have kids. But also, men are required to do many things in return. It is an obligation to take care of her, provide for her, pay for her food, bills, health care basic needs etc, AND you should offer her an amount of money before getting married called mehr. This is an amount that the wife decides, she can use it for anything she wants. The husband also has to spend some extra money on her too if she wants it, if her mehr finishes, for example, and if the man can afford it. Women dont even have to do all the cooking and cleaning and stuff, it says that nowhere in Islam and duties (whether its household chores or jobs) should be spread equally between wife and husband. Meaning if men go out and are the sole breadwinners of the family that work all day, womem can be stay at home wives. And vice versa. And if both the man and the woman work then the household chores should be split. Knowing all this, I think the roles are quite equal and fair when it comes to marriage in Islam. Similarly, obligations and limits are spread all around and they may be more harsh to women on one and more harsh to men on the other, but all in all. Islam I just and fair.
And of course women can go out on their own!! You don't need to go out with a mahram. That being said, if a wali (male guardian living with you, usually Father or husband) tells you not to go out or not to go somewhere you should obey them.

Oh, this is the proof that man attracted to woman, more than woman attracted to man. If it is not the case, then Judah (an ancestor of Jesus, according to Bible) would not approaching and having sex with a prostitue without knowing she was his own daughter in law (Tamar).
