Wounded Warrior Parade for SFC Richard Stayskal. The parade is the beginning of Wounded Warrior Week, sponsored by Longport’s American Legion Post 469. Stayskal and his family received a weeklong, all-expenses-paid vacation in a Downbeach home, among other amenities, . This is the ninth year a celebration has been held honoring a Wounded Warrior.
Stayskal, a U.S. Army Green Beret, was seriously injured while serving in Iraq. He has been awarded two Purple Hearts.
