Thank you for sharing Nathan's story so beautifully, Dan. We are blown away by the support for Westy from across the football community, and he is also overwhelmed by the love shown towards him by all the good people in the world. Kindness is always the winner in these situations!
Perfectly put. As someone with a speech impediment, I have a lot of respect for people like Nathan for choosing to speak to a camera even though there might be trolls shamefully making fun of the way he talks without knowing that it might be a disability which he ultimately can't change/control it. Thank you for sharing this story.
As an Ipswich fan I hated seeing some of the comments from some of our fans, aware tribalism is a massive part of the game but this was unacceptable. My missus is friendly with his two sisters and buzzing to see his just giving page has flown to over 30k. Clearly a huge football fan and always have respect for those who support their local team even if it is Norwich. Inspirational work Westy hope to half marathon goes well.
I’m so glad you’ve got another picture up on the left now. The lack of symmetry was driving me mad 😂. Fantastic video as always as well. Love hearing your views.
Had a look at the thread just after starting to watch this. I didn't see that many troll comments (deleted by admin) but I don't doubt for one second that they were there and vile. The total raised is now over 22K which includes a tenner from myself. Well done for sharing Nathan's story and showing that the number of good people heavily outnumber the number of bad!
Well said mate and respect go you for shining a light on this. In a time when mental health has never been so prevalent, it amazes me that there are still so many scumbags coming out from under their stone.
Just a catch up , it's just gone over 25 thousand, and he is having some great feedback from players at Norwich as well. It has been great seeing so many fans from so many clubs donating. Thank you for your input. Otbc
Great video mate I almost got down to there level when I read the ville comments about a fellow canary fan but then you realise you become just like them so glad that fellow football fans and not just Norwich are donating for his cancer cause he deserves it and keep up the good work with your podcasts
This was great and I’m really glad you made this as I hadn’t seen it anywhere. The the disgraceful comments and people need to be spoken about and outed, but the best way to do that is to kill them with kindness essentially, show that good can come out of the bad and shine a light on the great side of football twitter and the communities and support it can build- you’ve done a great job of doing that!
Dan, you really are the man. Thank you and carry on being the brilliant person you are. We all have choices in life, choosing to be nice is never the wrong choice.
I've done nothing really, this is all Nathan, the lad's a proper hero. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment on the video, it really does mean the world to me.
The whole thing has ultimately proved that the majority of people are decent when given the chance. It's just hard to stomach the vocal minority responsible for the initial abuse. Really pleased to see some good come out of this overall - props for sharing the ordeal yourself, as I'm sure it helped Nathan's fundraiser, given your following
As I said in the video, it's thankfully all over Twitter now and going strong because of it. A perfect reminder that good outweighs evil when you look hard enough. Thanks so much for taking the time to watch and comment on the video. Hopefully you enjoy the content on the channel moving forwards too.
Thank you for making this video Dan. Twitter can be a truly vile place 90% of the time. It's a real shame as it can also be a source for real positivity as you mentioned in the video. All you can do is continue to be on the positive side of twitter I suppose. Great video as always mate
I have always thought that kids need to be taught and hardwired from an early age that comments from anonymous profiles should not be taken serious and ignored.
Well said. I myself decided yesterday to take a step back from twitter. There's some great stuff out there but far too much crap to wade through. I've decided to sign up to your patreon as an alternative way to keep up with Palace news without the guff and bile on twitter.
Ahhhh, that's amazing to hear mate, thanks so much. Are you all signed up for the podcasts already or do you need the link? If it's the latter, it's here for you: www.patreon.com/HLTCO
He's on 11k now from £500, its ridiculous and brilliant in equal measure. But exactly what you say, there are loads of nice people, more nice than bad, but bad make the most noise and times like this you can see how strong the nice are :)

Great message, everyone can take something from this to make the world a better place. Thank you for highlighting this amazing man!

Thanks so much, hopefully it keeps growing across the next few days.
Fantastic video. Off to donate to Nathan.
Legend! The power of social media is amazing when it's used for good.

Great video, thanks for sharing your thoughts on this

@@HLTCOMEDIA Signed up yesterday and was stoked to be able to listen this morning. A much better way of getting my Palace news 👍
Twitter thrives on conflict, this time something great came out of it. Great video mate
This story is amazing. Last time i checked he was over 7000% of his target.
Well said.
