The architecture of a lot of Detroit is great so by all means, do it by car and not during the night.For walking around,stick to the Downtown areas that have plenty of police. Greek town and the GM tower are neat to walk around.Driving up and down Woodward Avenue is pleasant and has some nice scenery and a few good eateries but do it during the day, of course. Go see a Tigers game and park at Greek town and have dinner after the game.Hopefully you have a GPS so you don`t get "lost" , driving home. I have a lot of relatives that lived in Detroit but they all moved out to the suburbs as soon as they could afford it. Been to all the attractions mentioned in the video, they were worthwhile. Seeing the sights are a pretty good time but you wouldn`t want to live there full time or enroll them in the public schools. Maybe in 20 -30 years it`ll be different. The city looks even nicer with the setting sun for some great picture taking, from the Canadian side of the river.
