      Same here, at the same age. No genetic markers so they think environmental too - unless there is a future discovery (in science) that determines the link/cause. Very very painful surgery.
      Thank you for sharing your story.

    Christelle, you have been through a lot and are stronger because of it, I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year, my new dog jumped up on me ,a lump and black and blue area started, I just had my mammogram a year ago,so I kept watching it and decided to get my mammogram alitte early.positive for left breast cancer,things happened so fast after that, several needle biopsies, MRI,chemo, bilateral mastectomy, radiation, immunotherapy.I never thought it would happen to me, but it did and staying positive is the best advice I can give, sure you have bad days,feel sorry for yourself,get mad, have a good cry.but mind set means alot.I am a nurse and I know what can occur, sometimes that isn't a good thing,think way to much.And it is normal to be frightened with any ache or pain,we are human.take care,Lisa Stewart

    Christelle, thank you for sharing your story. I, too, had several miscarriages and a stillborn so I can relate and empathize with your loss. I also believe in God and feel that everything happens for a reason. Did I mourn the losses of my babies? Yes, of course I did, but I have a strong faith and knew God loved me and would get me through that difficult time. You are also so right about taking responsibility for our own health. Doctors don’t always “hear” what we tell them and they do not inhabit our bodies so we have to be our own compass. Symptom occur for a reason. Don’t ignore them. And since you mentioned detox and trying to do better with self-care, I would appreciate information about detox and cleansing. I don’t know much about those things so maybe you could share home remedies versus health providers that do detox/cleansing. Again, thank you for sharing your story and may God bless you with many, many years of good health. ❤

    I went through loosing my kidney at 25 after having my 2nd baby with a tumour that was 45 years ago. I since had bilateral mastectomys. But being a positive person I've never dwell on my 3 cancer diagnosis life's for living my motto.

    I’m so happy I found your channel! I went through something similar, but mine was breast cancer. They said it’s definitely not cancer for almost 6 months. Thank God I pushed to see a specialist! I’ve now had 4 surgeries related to this, radiation, and I take a daily pill to suppress my hormones, since my cancer was hormone driven and not genetic.

    I can so relate to you! I too had kidney cancer. Mine was found when my appendix perforated, otherwise I would’ve had no clue. I also had my blood pressure go up a few years earlier and was put on medicine to control it. I lost my left adrenal gland as well because the cancer was so close, my urologist didn’t want to take the risk of it spreading. Thankfully the margins were clear. Mine was clear cell renal cell carcinoma. Glad you are okay!

    • @Holisticallychristelle
      @Holisticallychristelle  Рік тому +1

      It’s definitely a blessing you went in for your appendix. It’s so easy to disregard symptoms of kidney cancer as something else, and then it’s too late. So happy you are doing well too! 🙏🏻

    Thank you for sharing! Life asks us to face things that sometimes look huge, but life protects us in a way or another.
    My mother had to have her right kidney removed when she was in her mid 20s, but then she had me after a few years. She is totally fine with one kidney, always have. Before removing the kidney she was always sick.
    Keep positive, be happy.

    You’re so inspirational, thank you for sharing your story, this really resonated with me as a fellow mom who was just told a mass was found in my breast. I had just gone for my very 1st mammogram and breast ultrasound as my mom was diagnosed with 3rd stage breast cancer at 40. I definitely thought I was being proactive and was shocked to be told of this finding before leaving the clinic. Thank you for sharing

    Dear Christelle, thank you for sharing your story, many blessings to you. I am so happy that you did get past this and that you had your second baby. 🙏 I do feel like it was a series of synchronicities that led you to your healing 🙏 I totally agree with our needing to be our own health advocates and educating ourselves about our own bodies and doing our best to take care of ourselves. I have been battling, at this point most of my life, a very chronic debilitating depression which at some point joined up with chronic fatigue and Hashimoto's thyroiditis and on from there, and I have been constantly doing everything I knew of to be able to heal...It has been very hard to find doctors that know anything about chronic conditions, I have had to learn more and more and become more and more my own healer, while still looking for more aware and holistic doctors to help me along the way. On my worst days I am extremely discouraged and desperate because decades have passed and my life has taken different turns because of all of this, and I feel hopeless because I don't know what else to try. On best days I get up once again and keep working on self care at all levels and keep giving my all to changing whatever I can to heal. At the moment, among many other things, I have been diving deep into the work of Joe Dispenza, reading his books and meditating, I wonder if you are aware of this and if it could somehow resonate with you, have something for you. For me it has been 3 months of daily meditating a lot, it feels still too early to talk about it but it is very interesting. I find things especially compelling when they somehow teach the same things I find elsewhere, when things click, there are many different ways to get to something and I think at the moment this way may have something for me. Sending you Love and Light 💚✨

    My first thought when you said your mom had the same cancer ten years ago was “good god, what were these poor women exposed to in their environments?”. Unfortunately, these harmful chemicals aren’t regulated enough, and we don’t have the right to not be poisoned 😢 It’s weird to think of how “lucky” you were, but as you said, they wouldn’t have don’t the ultrasound in that area had you stayed home. I hope you continue learning and living a cleaner, less toxic lifestyle. ✌️

    Depending on the type cancer can be mistaken for loads of different less serious conditions.Mine was misdiagnosed as eczema for about 7 years and then they decided it was psoriasis but shortly after that tumours came and lead to an amputation and the truth finally came out: Mycosis Fungoides,a rare T Cell Lymphoma,in the beginning of the advanced stage.

      @@Maria-i6x7c it didn’t spread luckily, and if it had, surgery is the only option as chemo and radiation do not work on Chromophobe. I do go for yearly checkups to make sure I’m all good. ☺️ Once I recovered from surgery, I’ve had no symptoms.
