@@milymathew That doesn't mean he doesn't have them👍🏽. Still you are entitled to your opinion
@@nandhakishor103 I find his roles a bit repetitive......the urban guy,the psycho....he is just catering to the need of change ,the realistic new age roles that the ott audience wants to see...the so called intellectuals......
Damn! Finally. I was googling this interview day before and manifested it it seems
Haha! Glad we could fulfil it. :)
Anupama Mam described Fahad our favourite actor perfectly. Loved this episode.
It was a pleasure watching such a beautiful conversation with Fahad Fasil!
I still remember watching the news when Fahadh won National award..He was asking his mom to not cry saying it's just a small award😅
A very apt guest to be asked "how do u do it'
It was 2013 when i 1st saw North 24 kaatham. Man, i still remember the feeling after watching that movie i was absolutely blown away by his acting. I was in Kerala for the 1st time for my best friend's brother marriage.. Also the south indian movies were not very common at that time so i had not watched any movie prior to that.....
I didn't understand the language but thanks for my friend for his translations. And i still remember talking to my friend about the movie after days.....
At that time only i knew he will be a great actor.. i makes me so glad to see his acting journey so far.. haha i often take pride in my north friends that i knew him before the south Indian cinema craze in north and before pushpa happened..😅😅
I am in awe of this human being! He has no vanity and is in a profession that feeds off it! He is an artist in the purest form!
Best conversation I've heard in a while.
Fahad Faasil....Pride of Mollywood ❤
U mean pride ryt
Simple n cool man.
hearing him for the first time n iam blown with his simplicity, I've watched his movies and his craft is impeccable.
Fahad❤
University of Natural Acting..
And the future Oscar Winner🎉
What a fabulous actor! My stuff is here! The pride in that sentence :) just goes to show how important it is to believe in your roots your stories! ❤
17:04 Vicky Kaushal, Rajkumar Rao, Ranveer. I can tell Fahadh is a much better actor. But great to see/hear him acknowledge others. How many others would do this? [in bollywood]
True bro..
Ranbir*
Its Ranbir🔥
Ranbir Kapoor
Ranbir
I cried watching Trance his brother had chronic depression even i went through depression and looking at his brother suffer i cried a lot and that scenes left a huge impact ... Fahadh' s struggle to save his brother .
absolute beast of an actor! never a step wrong in his portrayals. he is so far ahead in his art form that frankly we dont see beyond his character and think of any comparisons. Just melts into our real world...all his characters after the movie feel like they are still living somewhere...thats how impactful he is!!!
No he is not Now fahad
Malik - un convinced old man that too has psycho expression while he talks with Freddy
Kumbalangi - psycho
Joji- psycho
Irul-psycho
Pushpa- psycho
Maamannan- angry psycho
Carbon and trance - Psychological problems even Aavesham he is psycho
We don't when he will good or dangerous similar to kumbalangi
How many man isn't he tried to play same angry negative and psycho charaters.
And guy gives too many expression for simple scenes no one behave like he did in his movies real life
He should learn from vijay sethupathi, nawaz, raj kumar and danush to act naturally
@@SaiSrinivas-qm1wmHave you even seen his movies like North 24 Kaatham, Maheshinte Prathikaaram Iyobinte Pushthakam, Chaapa kurishu, Annayum Rasoolum, Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, Carbon, Amen, Immanuel, Banglore days, Varathan? He's a versatile actor, no matter how much you disagree with it
@JayaprabhaTP only seen movies I listed out I didn't want to his same acting I other movies he is not extradinary actor like nawaz, dhanuah, raj kumar rao,vsp to watch his every movies.

Fahad is very limited as an actor Even he accepted it he said he only have 8 expression yes he only knew few expression that he is repeating again and again atleast he is honest about his skill
his eyes acts ......... I have never seen an ACTOR whose EYES speaks ....such a talented actor he is
There is one more. The complete actor Mohanlal... Watch his great movies
There is 3 actually, Jagathy Sreekumar, Mohan Lal & Kamal Hassan
Iam a tamilian, Fahad Fasil's North 24 Kaatam is the first Malayalam movie I watched & fafa is the actor that I love watching.
Thanks a lot Film Companion from bringing Fahadh...such a relaxed interview. He is a national treasure and powerhouse of acting.. So much to learn!!
Omg!!! He is the guy who made me start watching mallu movies. I am so happy that you could interview this super talented artist.
Finally, someone spoke of the lens 📹 ! Someone acknowledged how the lens and the co-actors are the ones who enhance the performance.
After answering for long when Fahad asks sorry I forgot the question was more hilarious than the Amban misfiring on the bridge in Avesham. Love you brother. You are awesome ❤
How can he still stay so grounded! My pan India is my friends all over… what a line! Rarely one would see naming so many others actors and openly appreciating their works!
I'm really impressed by how he gently helps the interviewer see his potential without revealing too much.
“My stuff is here” -FaFa, 2024 🔥
After Thilakan and Mohanlal, only this guy from Mollywood deserves an Oscar!

Man!! He is so simple...His attire in the interview is like us... just like a common middle class man 🤩🙌🏼
He resembles Cilian Murphy in his attitude as we'll as the character💆♂️
As always FAFA interviews are humbling and honest
Mam , you manage to pull out the real FAFA in all your interviews
Thanks a lot
When Kamala Hassan said - he is like a mulakha bajji . That literally is true
Fafa is a very secure person and generous at heart to acknolwdge his contemporaries which is rarely seen in bollywood. Out there actors are so full of themselves.
FAFA IS AN ONCE IN A GENERATION ACTOR. PERIOD
If he was so generous,he would have acknowledged malayalam new gen actors..he acknowledged Hindi ones to get the admiration of the pan Indian audience...there are better actors in kerala than Vicky kaushal and Rajkumar Rao but no he won't speak about them...he comes through a history of legends...but he won't speak about them
@@milymathewgeez....seriously thats all u cud read from his statement...god bless u bro / sis.
@@puffdaddy4920 he comes from an industry of legends....but his speech is very individualistic...the fact that he is so good is because he has grown up watching great actors
"My stuff is here!" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Hell yeah!
What an incredible actor, and SO GOOD to see him giving this interview. What a genuine, lovable person he seems to be! Bravo on your great work.
FAHAD IS GOING THRU A TIME WHAT MOHANLAL HAD FROM 1986 TILL 1994. EACH AND EVERYONE GOING AFTER HIS MOVIES THOSE DAYS. NOW GOD HAS GIVEN US ANOTHER NATURAL TALENT,FAHAD. TIME HAS CHANGED BUT THE PASSION FOR NATURAL TALENT REMAINS THE SAME. WHAT AN ACTOR!!
It’s great to see Film Companion coming up with some beautiful interviews! And as for Fafa, this man needs to be protected, such a rare gem of a wonderful human and of course star actor. Just so humble and grounded, it goes to show how well raised he is. Thank you for this interview 😇🙏🏼
Omg! nazariya is so right about the way he speaks.😄
It's so true that quiet people have a lot of power, even if they don't speak a lot.
He has non malayali fans all over even before Pushpa, thanks to Super deluxe, Trance, Kumbalangi nights.
Check out his North 24 Kaatham
24 katham
He is the Anthony Hopkins of Indian cinema period! Hands down one of the best character actors. I can never imagine any other actor playing the role that he has done. He has truly killed the borders of languages. Just love his movies though thru subtitles 😊 but a true fan
He is a legend..such a super great actor . Any movie is worth watching…just to watch him acting. Yet such humility , hats off 🎉🎉wait for every single movie of yours. Being Bengali, became a big Malayalam movie fan mainly to watch FaFa
Genius at work .. He can surprise you every time .. He is a world class actor ..👌🏻
Such a joy to watch Fafa speak...he stands out....
So modest and well spoken
Education , Knowledge, Humbleness ,grounded, self awareness and acceptance - Fafa personified and Anupama Kudos for ur research before the chat . Time well spent watching this video.
33:20 That ice cream poster of him and his wife was so glamorous it reminds me of my first time in kochi. Me and my boyfriend were driving around the city and seeing the posters all over the metro pillars and telling him how gorgeous they look, together.❤❤ Absolutely loved him in Avesham.😍
P.s I dont understand malayalam and I saw the movie in Shenoys in Kochi in the packed theatre without the subtitles, and my boyfriend translated it to me and i laughed my heart out. 😂

He is a national treasure, hindi film heroes have so much learn him.
I only got to know fafa and liked his acting from non malayalam movies and made me watch all his malayalam movies thereafter. He is way too humble.
Legend 🔥💫 whole world need to know him❤️❤️
loved this interview! Humility of FaFa and the excellent questions from Ms Anupama.
Oh my god😮 Today I wished for FaFa's interview with Anupama chopra while watching his interview with Film companion south❤
Fafa would say "Get a life" to you because you're not just watching films but film related content. He'd tell you to watch cricket instead.
