Is there a notification squad yet? 😂😂😂 Hope you guys like the video. It took a lot of time and effort and I wanted to make it as detailed as possible. If you have any suggestions or any feedback regarding the process let me know below. I wanted to make sure anybody could watch this and make it themselves with no issues. It's a very useful piece of equipment. Glad I can share the information with you all!
Excellent video. As an aspiring coach (I have a U8 team), I subbed and got the notifications going after the first video of yours that I saw. Please keep the content rolling. It is high quality and very informative. If you choose to do anything aimed at coaching younger age groups, I would be grateful. I didn't start playing soccer until AFTER I stated coaching my daughters team, so I am learning the game as I learn to coach. I have been hard at it for about 6-8 months now.
Love your vids, man... U10 girls coach here (for the soccer side), and engineer (for the build side)... Only suggestion I'd have would be to use carriage bolts instead of hex. (It has the rounded head instead of the block head) It may not impact the ball's return hitting those tiny corners of the bolts, but I'm pretty confident that it will slowly degrade the face of the ball hitting them multiple times. Keep up the good work!
Best training videos on the web that i have been able to find. I coach a U-12 boys team and they are improving quickly with your drills. Built the rebound wall last week. today will be our first practice with the wall. can't wait to run some drills! Many Thanks Javi!
First of all, I love the wall! The details were brilliant and were well layed out! Lastly, love how you listen to your peeps! Good man you are! Keep that smile buzzing Boozer!
Great video, Javier! I wonder if you could have used hinges instead of L brackets in order to make it collapsible for storage. The hinges would swing each leg to the outside. In order to prevent the legs from folding when in use, you can create a wood piece or something to bridge/join the legs together. Just a thought.
+Jamie Cox I had that in mind, but my woodshop skills don't go further than the high school elective I took. I also wasn't sure exactly how to go about it without feeling insecure about the legs collapsing when I hit the wall, but that is definitely one of the main modifications for wall 3.0. Thanks for the suggestion Jamie!
Rory Lamond yes. Go for it. Only stood move i made was buying too long of bolts. Had to cut them down. No biggie. If you sell one let me know. I will make a few for kids on the teams my sons play on. Thanks
Hey coach! I'm just a local and I love watching what you do for the people and get them motivated to play a passionate sport! This video did help me a lot and many more, but by any chance could you maybe make a free kick video when you have the time? Please and thank you!
For a cleaner look, I think I am going to not use bolts and nuts. Instead I am going to use 0.75" lag screws with washers to join the brackets into the wood. 0.75" should go through most of the plywood so plus using lag screws should keep it solid. Might double up on the number of screws and brackets, which will add minimal cost and minimal weight.
@coach javi this a great. Not many people take us into the cost of supplies or the actually shopping. This can't be beat. I notice in the video that the drills you are doing are soft touch kicks and I notice that the wall is on turf. Does that wall tolerate hard kicks and does it stay till on grass? My son is likely to want to practice his power on it just because he is a boy. (I know. I'm a little late to the video. haha)
jaydgreen1 no issues at all but wouldn't be a bad idea. We thought about it but didn't feel it was really necessary. But they basically cost nothing so would be good just to be safe! Good suggestion.
I train my U12, U10 & U9 kids daily. I love this rebounder but I'll need to make some adjustments. This soccer mom doesn't have that much room in the back of the SUV to carry it to the field everyday. But thanks for the inspiration!!!
Coach Javi Greetings! I'm from the Philippines, I would like to suggest videos on how to make a portable target on goals (ea. top corners) or what would you suggest that we use to put along the goal bar. Hoping for your positive response. Thanks and more power!
This is a great DIY video. But just a genuine question. The materials used for this aren’t that cheap, so would you be better off just buying a rebounder? Or is this one better?
Thanks coach javi! Love the wall and yes the video was really detailed. Thanks for taking the time to show us. And that killer chilena in the video was picture perfect! Great video all around. Special shout out to Boozer, good job mate! Lol well like always Saludos from Riverside Cali!!
Hello Javi, What kind of wood you used and does any particular one make the rebound optimal? We are planning to use this on the hard surface and afraid it will move every time you hit the ball. Is there any solutions to stop it from moving?
Coach, I have a u13 girls team but need help warming up prior to a game. Do you have videos on drills I can do before a match? Thank you for the extra attention to detail selecting the right music. In addition to our players improving with all of the drills you have shared, I now have a whole new playlist getting to the game with my daughter! Thanks again. Reply 1
Miguel Gonzalez if you mean just the sweater I'm sure you can find it somewhere online. If you mean the customized one with my logo I haven't really thought about selling them. Maybe in the future!
I don't know if it is the camera angle but sometimes the wall looks like it's leaning back like you pointed out but then sometimes the wall looks perfectly straight up and sends the ball back cleanly on the ground... why is that so?
Hey Coach Javi I would love to know and get some advice on going into high school, I am currently a 14 year old 8th grader in San Bernardino, Ca . I wanted to know what would be your recomendations for going into high school and wanting to try out for the soccer team, and i have only played ayso my whole life, but I truely think and believe in myself and think im really good. Ive gone to practices with club and they really like me . Any suggestions?
You can buy this www.amazon.com/Golden-Goal-Target-Multisport-football/dp/B00KO5BEHY/ref=sr_1_41?keywords=soccer+rebounder&qid=1558951245&refinements=p_36%3A-10000&rnid=386589011&s=sporting-goods&sr=1-41 or simply hang a view bags in the corners you are targetting. Very easy and cheap.
I recently bought this cheap rebounder net off of eBay and it's ok, the net isn't pulled back enough to give a good solid pass back and it's not accurate, the volley side is also messed up since the angle of the ramp is terrible and the ball doesn't really get up that high so it's just not a good product but I still use it since I have no other option😔😔 btw how portable is this?
Road to Pro gotta use what you got man! It's all about practice. It could be more portable but it would make it more expensive. I wanted to keep it as simple and effective as I could. It works well to move it around the field but transporting it from home to a field or different locations might be a bit bothersome. There's always pros and cons 🤷♂️

jaydgreen1 that's great that you've really gotten into it! I'll keep that in mind for the future. Thanks!
Coach Javi can I send u my highlight
Love your vids, man... U10 girls coach here (for the soccer side), and engineer (for the build side)... Only suggestion I'd have would be to use carriage bolts instead of hex. (It has the rounded head instead of the block head)

Blaze T thanks man! I'll be honest I'm not much of a DIY guy but definitely will do that next time. Thanks for the suggestion.
Needed this wall in 90s would made next level lol, this generation so lucky to have utube
lover this.. imma make this a dad and son project.
Best training videos on the web that i have been able to find. I coach a U-12 boys team and they are improving quickly with your drills.

Kevin Roessler great stuff man! Appreciate the support and you'll find the wall is very useful! Thanks again.
How it went?
Thank you for the instructional video, putting the required items list in the description would have been a nice convenience. 😁
First of all, I love the wall! The details were brilliant and were well layed out! Lastly, love how you listen to your peeps! Good man you are! Keep that smile buzzing Boozer!
tim ceseretti Thanks Tim! Glad you liked it.
Just finished building it for my son. Thanks for this.
分
I built the wall and I can already see my finishing improving even when no one is around to pass the ball. Thank you!
If you use tee hinges (gate hinges) or door hinges instead of L brackets you will actually be able to fold the legs making it easier for transport
Great video, Javier! I wonder if you could have used hinges instead of L brackets in order to make it collapsible for storage. The hinges would swing each leg to the outside. All your videos are useful and really relevant to improving our in game precormances (well for me). Keep making great content.
Coach.
I made one. For my sons. It’s easy. It an awesome piece of equipment for the back yard.
Thanks so much for this video!!!
Hello,
Can I ask how much did it cost you?
Rory Lamond in the End. It’s should cost less than $80. If you don’t need tools etc. just the part could be 80-60$$.
Rory Lamond it’s so worth it. Coach’s version is exactly like the one I made. It’s works really well. Can be made very fast.
@@72pinebarron I'll give it a go! I was thinking about selling them but I doubt i'd make a profit?
Rory Lamond yes. Go for it. Only stood move i made was buying too long of bolts. Had to cut them down. No biggie. If you sell one let me know. I will make a few for kids on the teams my sons play on. Thanks
i have a fractured ankle from a game at the moment but i definitely will have to build one when i'm back into training! Thank you!
Hey Coach, I found a great way to get the nuts from coming loose. Just pick up some locking washers and place those inside the nut when tightening.
Coach javi how are you so good looking?
One of the best videos on UA-cam.! 👍
Hey coach! I'm just a local and I love watching what you do for the people and get them motivated to play a passionate sport! This video did help me a lot and many more, but by any chance could you maybe make a free kick video when you have the time? Please and thank you!
Also is that in Schaumburg Illinois?
I appreciate that Michael! Will try and do that in the near future! And yes it was there.
Bout to start this project with my son! Wish me luck brother 🤙🏽
My son and I just build this, thank you!!
I seriously love you....great video.....what i was really needing

My only recommendation would be to countersink the bolts on the front plate to avoid anything being punctured.
this video is so helpful!
Have you had any issues with the head of the bolts pulling through the face? Would you suggest using washers on any future ones?
jaydgreen1 no issues at all but wouldn't be a bad idea. We thought about it but didn't feel it was really necessary. But they basically cost nothing so would be good just to be safe! Good suggestion.
The Coach Javi way 💪
Just built this, thank you Coach !🔥🔥🙏🏼
I train my U12, U10 & U9 kids daily. I love this rebounder but I'll need to make some adjustments. This soccer mom doesn't have that much room in the back of the SUV to carry it to the field everyday. But thanks for the inspiration!!!
Perhaps foldable hinges for the legs could work.
You got a new subscriber with this video. Thx
Your vids are hella good man... keep up the good work🤙🏽 keep scoring bangers
How thick should the wood be? Great video by the way!
Damn mate i really apreciate the effored on this video nice one mate 🤙🏿🤙🏿
Javi you should add in washers and lock washers, then you wont have to worry about the nuts getting loose.
I never heard of lock washer. Learn something new everyday. 👍
I like hinged bounce backs. This one is huge and doesn’t fold for transport or storage.
Great project, but I think I will opt out buying already made one due to price. It would have been a fun dad and son project.
Awesome awesome awesome! Building this ASAP!
Great video👍🏼👏🏽
Did shortening in the legs impact the performance of the wall? This latest design would you make any other changes or go back to your original design?
I liked the rebounder. Thanks.
Did you use washers with the bolts?
Coach Javi Greetings! I'm from the Philippines, I would like to suggest videos on how to make a portable target on goals (ea. top corners) or what would you suggest that we use to put along the goal bar. Hoping for your positive response. Thanks and more power!
Coach do I have a u12 boys team but need help warming the up do you have videos on drill I can do before a match
jose rodriguez not currently but when I get back to the University I'll try and get some videos of our pregame warmup! Thanks for the suggestion.
What are the best measurements for the plywood to have a long lasting diy rebounder?
Wow I played soccer there last season ! That's crazy I chipped a goalie on that same net!
great build and editing!
Loved this!! Just a shame I don't have a power saw 😅
This is a great DIY video. But just a genuine question. The materials used for this aren’t that cheap, so would you be better off just buying a rebounder? Or is this one better?
Hi javi, would you mind sending me a shopping list of items I need to build this please 👍
Hey! Thanks for sharing this. Is there a way you could put the list of items needed for easier access?
Nice work 🛠⚽️👌🏻
Thank you coach. Be blessed :)
Awesome video.
Thanks coach javi! Love the wall and yes the video was really detailed. Thanks for taking the time to show us. And that killer chilena in the video was picture perfect! Great video all around. Special shout out to Boozer, good job mate! Lol well like always Saludos from Riverside Cali!!
Sal Salguero I appreciate it Sal. It was the first take I swear 🤥😂😂
Hello Javi, What kind of wood you used and does any particular one make the rebound optimal? We are planning to use this on the hard surface and afraid it will move every time you hit the ball. Is there any solutions to stop it from moving?
You could put it on a rubber mat
This is awesome, thanks!
How much does it shift when you use it? Will it help to spike it into the ground?
You should cut out the centre of the legs to reduce weight. You wouldn't lose any structural strength since it only leans on those anyway.
you gave me a good idea,
coach Javi what boots do you have?
Coach, I have a u13 girls team but need help warming up prior to a game. Do you have videos on drills I can do before a match? Thank you for the extra attention to detail selecting the right music. jojolugo I will try and do that in the near future when I get back from summer break with my university team! Thanks for supporting the channel!
It's the same for American football in Canada. Not a large scouting infrastructure.
I just bought a new m-station feeling bad 😂
Bob the builder, more like coach Javi the builder
Great vid
Is there a place where we can get one of those Nike sweater?
Miguel Gonzalez if you mean just the sweater I'm sure you can find it somewhere online. If you mean the customized one with my logo I haven't really thought about selling them. Maybe in the future!
Hey coach javi
I have a question. Is that 3/4 plywood?
That’s what I am wondering if is 3/4 or 1/2??
What soccer cleats do you have on? They look amazing 👌🏼😬
XxfuturexX they're Tiempos. They came with the teal logo but I used a sharpie to black it out. 👍
Hey coach are u from Chicago?
nice design
do you happen to coach in Maryland?
Thanks so Much for the video I can now do those drills and don't have to ask any one to help me
Lmao the last 2 minutes were pure tekkers
Notification squad
Do a DIY for a goalshot!!!!
Damn you shot the soccer part in Olympic Park where i play all my games
You can buy a rebounder for almost the price for the wood itself
No u can’t 😂😂😂
Hello...i want to make another same as yours...measures of table? Can you tell me it in centimeters? Thank you.
I don't know if it is the camera angle but sometimes the wall looks like it's leaning back like you pointed out but then sometimes the wall looks perfectly straight up and sends the ball back cleanly on the ground... why is that so?
Isaac Otero it's because one side is slanted and the other is straight, he says it in the video
love you keep it up
+Muhammad Qasim love you too muhammad. 👊
what cleats do you have ?
Jovany Garcia tiempos

did u make the team?
I’m in the same position Rn
Great video. But i think that you should put some weight on this too keep it more stable.
They idea is there but I feel like it’s too big and the legs should be foldable 🤔
Plus, fot that price you just buy a brand new one
THANK YOU!
how to make own goalshot?
Israel Nzau I've thought about it but haven't tried. If I try it I will definitely make a video!
I noticed that the wall would kinda like jump so you should've added the extra wood to the legs
Thanks
2:30 Some one cut the cheese lol
Coach remember me I just got done with soccer practice I’m Dominic my Mom is Cher
Here before 1 mil subs. I know it's gonna happen
Carson Boyle thanks Carson! Maybe one day!

Do a how to build a mini goal

Luis Miguel use cones
Is that Olympic Park?????????
how did you even carry it to the field
Lionel Messi 💪 the handle came in handy.
Coach Javi so you carried it from home to the field
oh an what college do you work in
I always go to play there is in Olympic park
I’d love to make that but I don’t know what type of wood to use, it would be awesome if someone could tell me.
Ply wood
🔥🔥🔥🔥😍🤘🤘🤘🤘
What are the dimensions?

I can’t afford all that I just use a rectangular cooler and fill it up with water
Ahah your a boss bro
