It's nice to see a newer generation having fun with these cars. Pro tip. Add an H-pipe and it will sound way more balanced, add HP (balanced back pressure) and you won't have the gunshot pops. Unless that's what you were going for. Sounds good guys! Glad to see you are having some fun with the car! :)
Favorite UA-cam channel ever please keep doing shit to this specific car only tutorial channel for it anywhere
Thank you so much for the support we really appreciate it!!
Sound is perfect !!
That exhaust is a total hack job.
I'm getting confused. I went to a performance store here in canada. they reach out to vrsf. I told them my car should be 3.5. they said no it's a 4". My car is 2015 BMW 535 lci electronic waste gate. The guy said pre lci with pwg is 3.5....so is your information correct?
I just saw your comment to someone else.thanks
OMG lol that sounds crazy for a luxury 5 series. I wonder if a catless DP with stock exhaust sound just fine ?
It would definitely sound really good I’ve heard it but highly reccomend the custom exhaust or aftermarket option if possible
@@EastCoastGarage I don't like too loud, again it's a 5 serie, I like quiet and comfort but wants more performance, so hard to decide.
Here is a comparison of high-flow. The HF does sound better but you can feel the higher performance without catless.

Any issues with the CEL? Were you able to turn it off?
Did you have to loose up the exhaust after the cat converter for removal of the DP? also did the complete intake airbox has to be removed for 02 sensor wires? About to do this project…thanks in advance!!!
Bang bang!😮😄😂🥰
Your welds will rust using 70s6 wire should have used 308 or 309
good video guys. Is there any need to replace any gaskets during the changeout?
No gaskets need to be replaced!
I am struggling to remove the top E14 bolt of the ones that are vertically aligned… any tips?? I can get the socket on, but the space is so tight that I can’t crack the bolt
sounds amazing !!
Thank you!!
I have a 2016 535i I wanna say they already come single turbo on the N55
The n55 engine is a “Twin Power” which is biturbo so it has one turbine where and two compressor wheels.
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but how do you get it to backfire so aggressively?
seth it’s all in the tune!!
@@EastCoastGarage what tune bro?
@@EastCoastGarage have video about it??
I buyed thé DP with your link and didnt came like yours it came with some other design and with a circular separation
Thats really strange im not sure why that bappened Did you vontact VRSF?
Hey just a correction. The 4" downpipe are for the 2015-2016 LCI N55 version and the 3.5" are for the 2011-2014 pre-lci N55 version. The 4" was introduced to the ewg (electronic wastegate). Thank you for the video, great information!
Thank you for the support! How positive are you on this? I only ask because I have a strange year. My f10 is a 2014 but was manufactured in 07-2013, I’m pretty sure it’s basically one of the first LCIs. On my car I used a 3.5inch but it’s technically the LCI. I’ll do some more research and get back to you
You are correct about the size depending on the wastegate, but apparently there is not specific year designation for EWG as they manufactured some LCIs before introducing it (my 2014 being an example). Thank you for pointing this out.
How did you launch the car like that ?especially when you showed the catless DP + custom exhaust
twinscoupe foot on the brakes and on the gas haha. Just build up boost and release brake
Alright I have the same car and I put on the same vrsf catless downpipe, I even put on o2 sensor spacers and I’m getting a check engine light, how did u get around that?
You have to tune the car, mhd has an option for catless dp and it turns off the cel. You still won’t pass emissions tho
I have 2013 535i is mine PWG ?
Will it pass MA inspection with catless DP?
Most likely not though I’m not familiar with MA Emissions Laws. Here in CT we will need to put the catted downpipe back on whenever we need to pass emissions.
Is this Petrol?
yes it is
As you can see it only comes with one downpipe
Correct
Terrible job 🤦🏻♂️😆 those welds are horrible
Not trying to hate but those welds are ugly😭
Have you ever tried welding polished stainless steel?
It was supposed to be tig welded🫶
after upgrade of the DP, do you get any errors on the dash or smt?
Nope not with the MHD tune
@@EastCoastGarage thanks bro, I subscribed, keep up the good work
