@@christopherackerman2191 that's very true! I just got one of the Adam Jones Les Paul standards a few weeks ago. I absolutely love it! I had to get a standard because of the exact same reason. The AJ customs are out of my price range at retail prices but even more so at the prices you have to pay to get one now! I was thoroughly impressed with it though! The tone of the guitar is so much better than I expected given the Gibson branded pickup being used instead of the custom SD Adam uses in his customs. Anyway....
@@Douglas_I that’s awesome! I’d love to own that guitar myself….maybe one day, I got the Goldtop just last year so my wife would kill me if I got another lol. I was curious about the Gibson branded pickup as well, so it’s good to hear that it holds up. I know Gibson has taken a hit for quality issues in recent years, but they really seem to be knocking it out of the park lately.
