An interesting review of your watch and your mods to it. I have recently got this watch from Amazon UK receiving it on 3rd January 2019. I already had the Invicta 8927OB version which I purchased in December 2018 which is the two tone gold/black faced version, it truly is an amazing watch for the £69.99 I paid for it and was my first Invicta purchase. After seeing the blue version I had to get that one also. For the low price I paid the quality is amazing and having a good Seiko movement it is unbeatable at this price point. Thanks for your review and I have subscribed to your channel.

In 1996 I was finally able to buy a Bi-Metal Blue Rolex Subbie. This was my 3rd Rolex and at the time cost me GBP4600. I love the look and feel of the watch but despite returning the watch to the Rolex dealer 3 times, I could not get the thing to keep good time and, lets be clear, a watch needs to be accurate. Long story short, I put the watch in it's box and bought a Sieko. I sold the Rolex in 2003, pledging to never buy another super expensive watch because I was pretty disappointed. On to the present day, I just ordered the watch you reviewed and am actually looking forward to wearing it. It will be my second Invicta. Love the bracelet and the review. Thanks
Still thinking of getting this watch... Three watches later... If i never get one i still like it. Reasons i didnt get is bezel spring is known to rust/sieze/break. dont care for aluminum bezel insert, and 50 shades of blue dial that i hope i dont end up with purple.
Love this watch.... I have the all stainless black/black ver on order now. If I can find a green dial and bezel I'd do a Hulk mod. Even if I don't find the green parts I'll still swap out the black bezel with a ceramic and swap the crystal to sapphire. I also ordered a similar bracelet to what you got, solid end links, screw in links, unbranded glidelock. The only worry I have is I have a 6 1/2 inch wrist and the bracelet I ordered says only 3 links can be removed. Worse case scenario I'll put the original bracelet on the solid end links and glidelock clasp. One other mod I'd like to do: I actually like that you can see the movement through the exhibition back but don't like the thickness it has. Do you know where I could get regular case back that would fit this watch to knock off a couple mm and get it to sit on the wrist like a gen Sub?
I hope you're a professional jeweler, because the mods you're talking about are not going to be easy in the slightest. The ceramic bezel is not just going to slip in - you're going to need a ceramic grinding plate. The links with the new bracelet are not going to fit with the stock bracelet, unless you tap and dye the bracelet. This is from personal experience. If you want, I can do the mods you want, but be prepared to spend some coin on it.
@@innovativeentertainment4412 I'm not a professional watch maker but have done everything I described. Switching parts out I have no problem with. The reason I said "If I can find the green parts is because I'd only drop in a bezel made for this watch. I wouldn't try to grind down ceramic. And with that in mind I've found numerous sources for the bezel. What I haven't seen is a green dial I really care for. .... Taking a movement apart is a different story. That I would not attempt

I have a steel and gold Rolex GMT Master II I've worked hard and bought it from new 20 years ago and worn it every day and night ( it's just now in Rolex being refurbed to like new) and enjoyed every smooth sweeping second of it and can't wait for it to come back. That said while it was away I bought my first Invicta pro diver 9094OB steel and blue dial and bezel, love it so much I now have the pro diver steel and gold 8927OB black dial and bezel to match my Rolex. I love these watches as they ooze quality at a very affordable price. They will be pride of place along side my GMT Master when it returns. Note to self , I must stop buying Invicta pro divers.........well maybe 1 more.
Innovative Entertainment hey , are you still offering this as a mod to an already purchased watch . I can’t seem to get contact info and send a message via paypal .
Nice watch and love the changes. Got the two tone myself. It's the only two tone I own (everything else is steel). Looks nice and solidly built. Can't go wrong with a Seiko mov't. If they could nix the giant "invicta" on the side they'd have a winner, but then how often does anyone see the SIDE of a watch? Love mine. Also that blue dial is awesome!
Thank you so much. Yeah, I love my watch! I have to de magnetize it though. It's running really fast. But that's what I get wearing it around alternators and batteries.

Good sir I am a bit late with this comment but I have to say something. This was a great review and I totally agree with you on your opinion about what a pro diver represents. I hope you get your Rolex and keep being awesome. Cheers!
Nice watch. Not sure if you knew but the Invicta bracelet is closer to the original 16613 Rolex with its SS stamped clasp and hollow end links. That upgraded bracelet pays homage to the newer model 116613.
Yeah, I know. But in order to really have an authentic NEW BLUE, the only company that does that is Parnis, and they use cheap Chinese movements in their watches. I prefer the high(er) quality in the Seiko NH35A in my Invicta.

So where did you order the Rolex bracelet from? And did you ever think of putting a ceramic bezel and watch face possibly using a sapphire crystal with cyclops.
I actually have an affinity for this watch the way that it is now. If I go modding this watch up too much, it won't remind me what I'm working for anymore: at least in my mind.
That's why I never bought a Rolex and I'll probably never will. Because I never 'envisioned' myself to be anywhere in particular and still don't. I don't plan, I live day by day and I tend to enjoy the simple things in life. No big aspirations or dreams of grandeur. I am different, I know, but that's me. I really love this watch it really is a nice piece of workmanship, hopefully people can see this is not a timex, fits well works fantastic, durability isa9.5 ,I certainly won’t wear it to work , metal work always kills any watch so I by a plastic type wear it a year and toss it .This Invicta is a keeper and deserves good quality care from its owner.Rolex ehh who cares if it works like a water flows down hill I will be a happy customer.
You'd be hard pressed to find a decent quality one on eBay or DHGate. Look up "Carlywet Oyster Bracelet for Rolex" on Google and see if you can find one. That's what I did with this bracelet. But at the time, I found a very good quality one that had very little modification to make it work. Now, if you find one, you'll have to modify the shit out of one just to make it clasp right. If you find one, let me know if you'd like me to modify it for you to make it operate properly.
Dude, I appreciate your assessment of the Invicta diver watch you shared. Please include details about the automatic movement. This watch has so much quality within the mechanics etc. I do not intend to disrespect you belief that, "Rolex" equates to having "arrived". Fact is, Rolex is now mass produced, obscenely overpriced and marketed to dreamers who use credit cards to make payments on them. When Rolex was truly hand built taking one year per item, those were days when wealthy people paid cash. Rolex is no longer unique not exclusive. Basically nothing more than a Coach purse from the mall. Study Omega. Those are still respected. Rolex is now an overpriced, medium quality, "Costume". When decision makers scan the room, Rolex stands out as a want to be person who does not understand money.
That said, I purchased a Rolex submariner (no date) brand new in the mid 90's for £1900 English pounds,Recently had it valued at £5000 pounds, Forget the snobbery you cant beat a rolex as an investment!!😄 The same cant be said about Invecta!!!
As a former Leo and search and rescue diver it’s next to impossible to connect minutes under water to match the minutes in the watch because so many different factors apply to how much air a diver uses and it can very from dive to dive things that effect how much air you use is health, fitness, level of stress on a dive so it’s hard to just set your watch and say ok I have 15 minutes of air left as those factors vary your down time! Where I find them most helpful is if you need to do decompression stops and your overall down time to log in your dive chart!

Can you fix this and if so how do I get in contact with you, and what is a rough estimate of price and time? Thank you in advance. Great video. 🤔🇺🇸👍🏻👍🏻
The 6028 is no longer in production, or as far as I can see it's not. You'd be much better off finding a jeweler near you that can make these fixes. I don't have insurance to make these kind of repairs. So if something were to happen to the mechanism, you wouldn't be covered. Sorry I can't help, but I would strongly suggest taking your watch to a jeweler (that has the insurance) to fix your watch.

You know, I was thinking that too. But I guess it all comes down to the way the better ones are engineered. Yes, there's bad (cheap) bracelets, and there's good bracelets that fit properly. Just something to consider when purchasing an aftermarket bracelet. You get what you pay for.
Innovative Entertainment I just yesterday received an older Two tone Rolex style band for the same watch everything was fine till I realized one of the solid end links were flopping. But since I couldn’t get one end off I just super glued the end links to the case. Which for me is no big deal.

So many factors affect the speed of the movement. If you're wearing it to sleep, moving around while sleep, can affect it. That's why automatic movements are suggested to be taken off at night and placed face up. I'm guilty of this too though, I sleep with mine on.
@@innovativeentertainment4412 Well, I take it off before bed time, I even let it sit on the table through the weekend and I still got that result... I should point out, that I just got it from Amazon and I still can return it if I decide to...
@@innovativeentertainment4412 Yeah, I know that... I had it in mind when buying it and I've heard many reviews where they had like only 2 seconds off. But, they also mentioned, that it depends on each single movement. Honestly 10 seconds aren't that much, but I just wanted to make sure it is not too off. By setting the watch, I accidentally moved the hands backwards about an hour and then I was like "Oh shit, I'm spinning them in the wrong direction" and then started spinning the hands clockwise till I got the right time..
@@cymaticCS you got to watch out with winding an automatic watch backwards, it could ruin the movement. But it sounds like you're okay though because it still runs. Did you ever stop and consider that setting an automatic watch to Atomic time is kind of an optical illusion. Meaning that when you think you set the sweeping hand accurately, you're actually setting it a second or two faster. Set your sweeping second hand one to two seconds before the time you think you're setting it, and you'll see that you'll be balls on accurate.
I need to get one of those bracelets! I've got an earlier (Miyota movement) 8928OB, which is great except that the gold plating is very thin and eventually wears away in spots. You mention that your bracelet has some scratching, but at least I'm not seeing any silver-ish patches in the gold.
Did you have to modify the case or bracelet when you did the swap? I’m interested in the stainless steel version of the bracelet but I’m hesitant because I’m not comfortable doing much more than a bracelet swap
Innovative Entertainment that’s a bummer. I may have found a suitable replacement on ebay earlier for around $65 or so. I’m skeptical of the $20 option.
Innovative Entertainment the one I was looking at earlier was just that. Solid links with spring bars going into the case and links with screws. If I can find it, I’ll post a link.
I will never be able to afford a Rolex. But my Invicta Pro diver with the Seiko NH35A is keeping great time. Less than plus or minus less than half a Second a day. Its on pair with my analog quartz watch. I love it. I looked for the Bracelet on Ally express and I cannot find it. Can you please help me with. I would really appreciate it very much
Since I upgraded the bracelet, I have had the hardest time finding that bracelet too. I suspect it had to do with the fact that it takes away from rolex's value, so rolex made carlywet take it down.

Hey, could you disclose where you purchased the bracelet? I got the same watch and would like to change it too
does this watch have those gaskets? e.g crown case and crystal as stated in the video
@@fslater102 👌 🆗️, best of luck, my friend. I have attempted these mods personally myself and I know how difficult they'll be. I'm here if you need me.
I bought three in one week.😆And want more.
Nicely done. I didn't know you could get a 3rd party bracelet with a glide lock mechanism.
You absolutely can. In fact, I can order you one and mail it to you.

@@innovativeentertainment4412 hi how are you I’m really interested on buying a bracelet like this one similar to the Rolex one but all silver without gold for the invicta pro diver 42mm where can i get one if you know let me know please thanks
Great video. I am so sick of people knocking this watch because they don’t like the bigger Invictus well this watch has nothing to do with those watches and it should not be down because nobody likes those real big Invictus
Thank you for your patronage
You changed the cyclops to a much larger magnification as it would much resemble an Rolex
Great review. I have one of these but with the "scalloped" bezel, I'd love to change it out for the coin edge version but try as I might, I can't find a supplier.
Thumbs up.
You'd just be better off buying a new one with the coin edge bezel. It'll cost more to change out the bezel than a new one.

At march of 2022, this model sell for $45 dollars at Amazon. Dirt cheap price for Seiko n35a movement with 200m water resistance. Thank you to all the Invicta heaters out there to keep the demand and price so low, it is almost selling at if not below cost. I am getting one.

The bezel has been changed. It's blue and the dial is not. I own this exact model.
Without the yellow rotor. Mine is about 8 years old.
Thanks for the video. Do you know how the similar watch by Loreo compares to the Invicta?
I've only seen videos on the Loreo, and never had one personally, so I can't make that judgment.
Good sir I am a bit late with this comment but I have to say something. This was a great review and I totally agree with you on your opinion about what a pro diver represents. I hope you get your Rolex and keep being awesome. Cheers!
Awe. Thank you. I'm working on it. Thanks again for the support.
Was the Cyclops modified?
Solid endlinks?
No links to parts! 😔
May be the seconds hand ? It looks different or may be because of the cam auto focus
I have it and I like it.plus the 50 mm automatic and the 9743.
Yeah, you can't beat the value you get with Invicta. I have an 8928ob on order ($55 at Amazon right now!) and 2 other grand divers, incredible watches.

Would there be a way you could give links to all the mods you did
Yes. I share those links with my customers. People who buy from me and do business with me, I share those links with them.
I have a couple of these I got used, I'm going to mod them for sure have the parts just looking for the time.
My pro diver 8926 is on the way can't wait to receive it 😁 Cheers.

Hello, i just bought an Invicta 8928-ob.
can you please tell me where i can buy the rolex bracelet ?
thank you very much for any information
You'd be hard pressed to find a decent quality one on eBay or DHGate. Look up "Carlywet Oyster Bracelet for Rolex" on Google and see if you can find one. That's what I did with this bracelet. But at the time, I found a very good quality one that had very little modification to make it work. Now, if you find one, you'll have to modify the shit out of one just to make it clasp right. If you find one, let me know if you'd like me to modify it for you to make it operate properly.
Innovative Entertainment i bought the bracelet after reading some comments in this video, they said it would fit without any modification.
thanks 👍
@@tricao57 great! Good luck. I'm here if you need me.
You changed the magnifier ?
Are you still doing mods? Interested in getting mods done once I purchase my invicta
Dude,
I appreciate your assessment of the Invicta diver watch you shared.
Wise words.
That said, I purchased a Rolex submariner (no date) brand new in the mid 90's for £1900 English pounds,Recently had it valued at £5000 pounds, Forget the snobbery you cant beat a rolex as an investment!!😄 The same cant be said about Invecta!!!
Where did u get that Rolex bracelet from I need one and how much it cost
As a former Leo and search and rescue diver it’s next to impossible to connect minutes under water to match the minutes in the watch because so many different factors apply to how much air a diver uses and it can very from dive to dive things that effect how much air you use is health, fitness, level of stress on a dive so it’s hard to just set your watch and say ok I have 15 minutes of air left as those factors vary your down time! Where I find them most helpful is if you need to do decompression stops and your overall down time to log in your dive chart!
Wow! Thank you. I couldn't have said it better.
Loved the video! The service you offer for the bracelet and solid inserts, are they still available?
The bracelet is really hard to find at this point in time. I can get it, but it'll take some time to get one.

I have a Pro Diver 6028 and the second hand recently fell off as did the insert of the crown, not the whole crown. Also my crystal has a small chip and needs replacing as well.

I'm surprise the bracelet fits perfectly cause the drill holes are a little down on the case.

I have the 89270B and I have this problem, that the watch is running like 10 seconds ahead each day... Is that normal?
So many factors affect the speed of the movement. If you're wearing it to sleep, moving around while sleep, can affect it. That's why automatic movements are suggested to be taken off at night and placed face up. I'm guilty of this too though, I sleep with mine on.
@@innovativeentertainment4412 Well, I take it off before bed time, I even let it sit on the table through the weekend and I still got that result... I should point out, that I just got it from Amazon and I still can return it if I decide to...
@@cymaticCS mine is fast too. Even high end watches are fast or slow. Take it to a jeweler and have it regulated. It's only like $20.
@@innovativeentertainment4412
Yeah, I know that...
