Logan is the best example of what immortality looks like: pain, suffering, bad memories, and torment.
The adamantine bullet wasn't to kill himself, but to make him forget who he was and every memory. Just like in the origin movie.
He’s over 300 years old when he first became a mutant he killed and went from one battle and one war to the next time and time again he stays the same and gets back up every time while everyone else dies and he’s left with the memories and being all alone
The gift of life is loss
@@trollgamer4774he died at 197
immortality is not the problem, it's him being the ONLY ONE with it.

This quote honestly really does hit for me
Hugh Jackman carried that franchise on his back and in the end delivered the best performance I've ever seen.
Honestly the franchise was pretty good. It had low lows but it had rally high highs. Especially now with the state of MCU we see it was just hype and the charisma of lead actors that was carrying them. Xmen fox movies, although they totally butchered most characters, nailed Logan, Xavier, and Magneto.
Oh yes he did🔥. One of my favorite actors, top 4
especially now
Come back to this comment after deadpool and wolverine
I feel bad for Logan because he has suffered more than any x-men and has lost so many he just wanted to be normal but every time his life gets back on track it goes bad shit crazy R.I.P. Logan
You realise that he's just a movie character
Bruce, you realise suspension of disbelief and empathy are a thing, right?
Joe K. People are impacted by art. Shocking, I know.
Isaiah Bustamante I think he suffered more than anyone in the MCU
that's Wolverine for you, he's a shit magnet. in the end he always finds a way to help out the innocent and find himself.
The saddest part is that he never got to live happily
His beginning was sad
The middle of the story was sad
The end was sad
People say his regeneration or his claws are his biggest strengths..i say no, its his ability to walk through so much pain, suffer so much & yet get back up, no other mutant can go through the sh** logan went through. Logan taught me that life is hard, bad things happen, we have to fight, crawl every inch just to survive. Not every superhero has a happy ending, RIP Logan & Thank you Huge Jackman for pouring your heart & soul into the character, no one else can ever be wolverine, NEVER!
When you think about it he even felt more pain than normal people...at least until the end when his regeneration started to fail. Becoming numb to pain is partially a mix of a mental state and our nerve endings dying...but his nerves regenerated to full after every injury, which means they were fresh, raw and ready to be hurt all over again. So he not only endured everything he felt but also had to feel it like it was the first time feeling it all over again, and the first time always hurts the worst...
Ok stolen comment
Hey what about me i cant do the role?.....
I also respect what ur saying too
I don't think he died sad
*gives rogue dogtags* “I’ll be back for this” *old Logan looks at dog tags* *my heart sinks*
yep that's when it started to rain....
That hit hard lowkey:(
Brilliant continuity right there
I never even thought about that, that just made things 10xs more sad.
rogue and logan..
To be honest he's one of the greatest cinematic characters in the comic arena. This development, his story, and his end. All incredible. Tony Starks journey is a good runner up
Both died :(
@@ognjen8964 I see you also saw this 10 months later
@@JSteelers yeah ahhahahahahahah
Wolverine is mostly written as a flat character in classic comics he was an enigma and wasn't that fleshed out until the writers retconning
It's a shame he could get a half decent film after the first two
Logan's death was beyond the most saddest death ever in a superhero movie. Hugh Jackman had played the character for almost 20 years and killing him off was like a punch in the heart, there will never be anymore wolverine movies. Professor X also died in the same movie
Logan was great but i wish they put Magento in it. would have been great to see McKellen again one last time too
I mean there's gonna be more movies with "wolverine" in it but no one as good as Hugh Jackman he will never be replaced.
I swear if they recast him for a reboot I will be so pissed
@@gamerstheater1187 I heard he's more than willing to return if he's asked
If they insist on timeline shaningans he could return as old man logan
@@Afflictamine Imagine him showing up at the end of Logan like... "Charles, was a very good old friend." *tears Wolverine clone apart piece by piece*
Honestly, Iron Man's death didn't hit me even 1% of the way Logan's death hit me. This was brilliant.
Keyser Söze well sucks for you then
Of course not, because Iron Man's end was only 5 mins...Logan's entire movie was about his end.
Endgame was a huge uplifting movie with solid stakes because of the consequences.
Logan was a movie about the end of the X-men...death was the central theme of the movie, in that everyone dies, even the unkillable man...
I wasn't sad at Tony's end because he had it all, he got to live with the family he loved, his friends came back, and he died knowing that he had completely and utterly succeeded at his life long goals. Logan died with nothing, having totally and utterly lost everything, only to have something dangled in front of his face once more for a brief instance before finally dying. Sure his death was still heroic and he knew he had accomplished something small before the end, but his entire existence was pain and he KNEW was in store for his daughter Laura, and now she too would be alone for a hundred or more years. He may of saved her, but in doing so he damned her to his existence.
So for Logan there were no true victories, only less defeats. So yeah...I would hope Iron Man's death wouldn't hurt as much because his death itself was his final victory to seal a life of accomplishment on a level beyond anything any human had ever achieved, while Logan's death was just the end of his pain and really nothing more.
Indeed

Eternity can be a curse. The losses you have had to suffer, a man can run out of things to live for. Lose his purpose.
The Comic tell that too Thor he seems to be lovin it (well accept from ragnorok)😂😂😂
Agreed. If you’re the only one who gets to live forever. The lovers the kids you have the family you create all goes away in about 100 years. You keep on living. Start another family with more kids and it happened again and again and again. It’s a curse.
Immortality*
A vicious cycle indeed. But living isn’t for the weak and immortality is the pinnacle of that struggle. Logan himself shows this. He is so strong that he has managed to keep on fighting after having his life continuously reset because of all the tragedies he has faced. Makes you wonder how any of us would handle that fate.
I like the reference from the Wolverine 👍
" You are on your back... Blood everywhere... you're holding your heart in your hand... it's still beating"
That part of the edit made me cry if im being honest
Lmao noob. I cried when Charles died
Holding his heart in his hand.... His heart was X23
When she cried "Daddy" it broke me
For me personally, i think emotion is hard to act as it has to be true and you can see in this edit how much emotion Hugh Jackman have put into his work. It breaks my heart every time... Slyfer, you did it again. Wonderful edit, masterpiece as per usual.
This is why I worship comic book heroes like role models. To most, their just kids' comics, but really there's a lot to be learned from them. Their strength, courage, and grit in the face of hardship and pain is truly something admirable. Their imperfections make them all the more relatable, but their powerful stories of determination in suffering are personally, what drives me on through many of my struggles.
Well most people now know that comics aren't kids stuff it's primarily the jaded Baby Boomers and my parents generation who say that shit
You just read my mind😢
I can say with all honesty that I owe my (good/bad) “moral compass” , to “comic” BOOKS... don’t read them since early 2000’s as I felt back then that the stories started to be futile.(maybe , my bad) - thing is that till then I collect all the Graphic Novels ,individual special editions:collections and groups/heroes magazines. You name it .
Thing is I always have my life connected with the dream world where beasts and heroes also live outside our minds...I never had and never will be afraid of the “dark” - peacefully , he said : “...so that’s what it fells like...”
People tend to forget that there’s more beyond the surface. Comic books from the 60s, movies from the 70s, toys from the 80s, games from the 90s. All of those changed nowadays. Graphic novels, drama films, action figures, cinematic gameplays. Of course, there’s always the “superhero of the week”, which got itself pretty jaded by now, but we’ll never forget what these people did for us: Hugh Jackman, Tobey Maguire, Christian Bale, Robert Downey Jr., Charlie Cox, and many many others.
One of the best comment
honestly "so this is what it feels like..." might be one of my favourite quotes in cinimea history

Yea, I get it.......but that death was not an honorable death for me...tbh not to be mean or anything but it was kinda pitiful.....
@@Rin_Samael_Sparda he saved children that were gonna be the future X Men. He died a very honorable death. Even if it wasn't a war or him getting into a major battle. It was him being caring. "I just wanna go,I wan't a new life, one where I can live in peace, not in danger,I wan't to be with my friends,I wan't to be married not losing the people I loved,I just wanna be left alone........."
Movie?
That was great, where did you get it ?
I totally get that
That moment at the end in Logan, "so this is what it feels like", kills me every time I watch it 😭
Oh my geez. My tears cannot explain his pain. He has been through so much.
"so this is what It feels like"
He's been around for over a hundred years yet he still have one emotion he hasn't go through. The happiness of having your own child. Im so happy Logan got to felt that on his very last moment.
Logan always reminded me of Jax Teller. They both went through so much pain and experienced so much tragedy. At the end of their lives, they actually seemed to welcome death. Jax had a smile on his face heading straight into that semi and Logan also had a smile on his face as he was dying, "so this is what it feels like".
Logan is such a tragic character. He went through so much, but till his last breath, he finally understood what it feels like to be a father and someone that makes you being appreciated as a person. We will miss you Hugh Jackman. You gave us some of the best 17 years of our lives.
In 2000, they started him out right when Marie asks, "When they come out, does it hurt?" His response is perfect, "Everytime."
two years since he died, still not over it

This is so sad ... He is my favorite hero... I cry on this video and on the movie😭😭😭
you should watch logan-suffering by top screen its amazing
callum oleary also logan - experience
"This is what it feels like" dang that hit hard
This was very well done - it properly encapsulates the spirit of Logan’s character - his internal, personal, and ongoing struggle, as well as his inability to reconcile such suffering with the broader external world. Despite his tough and rugged exterior, Logan is a stoic character with deep honor who inwardly cares about the plight of others. Despite all of the pain, Logan continues to fight for righteousness in the world - he has no flashy powers, however his warrior spirit is unmatched and indomitable. At its core, is this not the definition of a true hero? To me, Logan is the greatest superhero to have graced the hearts and minds of audiences worldwide. His trials, failures, and losses are humanizing, as well as his everlasting search for peace in the world - this is something we can all relate to at some level. This montage demonstrates the depths of Logan’s character wonderfully - outstanding job here 👍
Simply beautiful
One of the greatest heroes ever and he experienced some of the most horrible stuff in his life time. Feel bad for him, what a great character!
Gone but will never be forgotten. Here's to the strongest X men of them all.
It's crazy how seeing someone's journey, which you've been following from the very beginning, end. It's like everything we grew up with is making place for the new generation. What a loss
Yeah i feel the Same, i Dont "grow Up" with all movies from the beginning (had to Watch the First 2 Movies at Home) but all the other masterpeaces in Cinema and it was perfect everytime...
well, guess I'm rewatching the whole x-men series after watching this masterpiece of a video.
You not alone
Aww I never thought about what the women (forgot her name) said in that way. That he was holding his heart in his hands, meaning he was holding Laura's hand. That hit me right in the feels. Excellent as usual!
"You're on your back blood everywhere and your holding you own heart" Sometimes just read in between the line because what she said was true to the T
Yes her daughter
I literally stared at the wall for minutes, finding the right words in my head to describe how I feel abt this beauty. I still don't know how to explain how much Logan meant to me and seeing this video... it remided me of last week when watched x-men on tv and LOgan appeared and at first I smiled like an idiot and in the second I started to f cry. Years ago I knew deep in my heart he's gonna die but I pushed the thoughts to the back of my mind and isolated it cuz I didn't want to think of it, I didn't want to imagine it. When Logan movie came out... I went to cinema like a ghost, lying to myself it's gonna be alright... hah no... I left the cinema like a total shit trash.
I still don't get how fictional characters can effect us this way, it's ridiculous FML After the IW I lost my shit and now they're saying my top fave Tony is gonna die and like.... I'll be so done with marvel if that'S true bc killing Logan and now Tony aka my first tops? Yeah I'm scared. I hate everybody.
This video is so simple and that's the beauty of it. You captured the scenes and voiceovers very well I'm gonna jump from the window now. I'm sure a lot of people are telling you, but I need to say it too. Your videos push me on the edge where I wanna stay for few more minutes after the videos end.
Jeez this is long I didn't expect this. Srry
Hey dont jump ....there's still dead pool.
wtf 😂 ... that was long to read
lavender. Omg you realize he is an actor and the wolverine comes from a comic book that is fictional right? Hahaha
I feel you my friend. there will be riots if tony dies in avengers endgame.
Donovan Tavera it’s more than that, it is so much more than that, I have grown up watching these movies, watching X-Men and Wolverine, they have been a part of my life since I can remember, I have seen every single movie and to see all the pain and suffering he had to go through, yes in movies but that’s not the point, the point is that they mean something, when I saw Logan in the cinema it broke me, I hadn’t cried in nearly ten years but that brought me to tears, seeing him finally have peace with the death he had longed for, seeing X-23 change his impromptu headstone to an X broke me, I was in tears, to finally see it end and have such a beautiful, amazing film to end it on was just.... I cant find words. Yes, they are just movies, but to us, they are more.
Omg plzzzz make more logan tributes this was FANTASTIC thx for making this amazing tribute
My favourite super hero. Flawed, in pain and tortured. All things I can empathize with💪
Your work is, once again, unbelievable ! You really are the lord, the god of editing. I am always amazed by your talent, by your art... This is so beautiful, emotional and epic ! You perfectly portrayed the character and his story... I'm truly speechless after watching this masterpiece !
Easily one of the best characters ever, such a sad and deep story about Logan, he is a broken man somewhere between hero and villain, in a grey area where there's no happy beginnings or endings.
My father died in my arms these vids of such emotion allows me to remember those last moments in his life but in da best way possible ty again ty
Sorry for your loss. God bless you 🙏
To me Logan is the best movie in all the xmen franchise and probably in all the super hero movies..!

This is where Legends come to cry.
The best cinematic superhero so far. Change my mind
I love how In Xmen we see Logan as a young man but we forget he’s in his 100s

The Wolverine movie the Chinese lady who sees his future and tells him that she sees his death… him laying on his back with his heart in his hand, refers to him dying and holding his daughters hand, his daughter is now part of his legacy, is part of him, in the end she was his everything, she was his heart and he died holding her hand.
I'd really like a Magento tribute, I guess the same amount of suffering goes for both Wolverine and Magneto... Both lost all the people that they loved and cared about....
I cant sleep so going back to the OG
Been waiting on a Logan one for a long time and damn this is perfect! Amazing job
The Wolverine will live on forever. I refuse to except this ending.....THE GREATEST SUPER HERO OF ALL TIME....PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST MEMORIES OF MY CHILDHOOD...
Your work is marvellous! (Pun intended) The way you express history, feelings, and pain from the characters your portray is simply amazing. There is so much depth to the characters you choose, and you collect all the deepest, most valuable moments....and put them together like this. My favorite ones is
1: Thor
2: Captain America
3: Logan
All the pain Logan has gone through. He loves people. And he feel like they either die because of him, or because he outlives them. He is dealing with tremendous loss, so he tries to stay away from people. So he won’t hurt them. Won’t have to deal with them, but more importantly, they don’t have to deal with him. But Logan is truly good on the inside so he is in an endless loop. What is the right thing to do? To love people? Leave them alone? Help? Mind his own buisiness?
He is a very good and complex character. Very well done Slyfer. You keep amazing me.

You are very very good at this...
Not ashamed to say I shed a tear
This is so amazing! You are definitely my favorite person to go t for movie tributes! Do you think you would mind doing one for Erik Lehnsherr (Magneto)? There never seem to be enough for him, considering how great a character he is.
I have been watching Hugh Jackman play Logan right from the start & he just got better & better over the years and touched the hearts of millions, he said in an interview after he made the first Wolverine, that he loved playing the character and would keep on playing it for as long as possible, I was expecting Logan the final movie to be special and sad, but I was not prepared for how brilliant it was and how utterly devastated I would feel watching him suffer with his health, which is something I'm now doing and watching him die, I really felt like I had lost an inspiration for many years and a person I had grown to love. When those beautiful eyes finally closed and his hand let go, I felt real grief, thank you Hugh for creating an amazing character and keeping him true to himself, right to the end, they should have given you an academy award for 17 years of playing Logan so brilliantly.
I can guarantee if we all would have known long before we were born that this is what life looks like we would have not to be alive.....
