his story is about work, he needs to work hard to rule, to keep his family, to keep his friends. so if anything is anything, his story will end with him finally getting his moment of happiness, after a whole life of work.
Dude, the fact that Loki is destined to fail or is not strong/impactful enough just shines through in this edit. Like he gets owned in NOT only battles or wars but he also gets overpowered in verbal arguments or commands and that is just shown here throughout. For example: the interrogation with Mobius / and that old guy when loki told everyone to kneel. He will always ALWAYS face opposition that he can't ever put down. Symbolism.
@@EscathonEdits Yesssss. All this has me hyped for that one battle in which Loki will win! Although that would cause an IRREVERSIBLE nexus event lmfao.

Truly sad but, definitely well defined. I will always love Loki as a character and the way Tom portrays him, is amazingly well done. Tom is Loki and Loki is Tom, no one can change my mind he is made for this role.

I feel like "There are always men like you." doesn't always get the credit it deserves. Obviously, it was put in there to be this great line showing how people will always stand against people who wish to force others to submit (like tyrants such as Hitler). But in this context, it feels like it's also a reflection of how there are always people like Loki who feel like they have been put down their entire life, made to feel like they deserve to be alone, so they compensate for this lack of love and attention by getting attention by purposefully acting in a way that will make others fear them. Because at least then it's their choice instead of others hating/disliking them for simply being themselves. There are always men like him. And they aren't inherently evil, they've just been made to feel like they aren't worthy of love. It doesn't excuse their actions, Loki did a lot of horrible things before the series starts. But we get to see him grow once he meets Mobius who understands him. Mobius doesn't tell Loki that he's horrible, he shows him that he sees him and accepts him for who he is. We see a similar growth when Thor accepts him, though it's definitely not the same. Loki (like many others) don't change their horrible ways until they go through something traumatic (mother/father dying) and/or are accepted for who they are yet still encouraged not to be cruel. Loki is the God of Survivors. Of the rejected and outcasts. And they will always exist in life. Hardship is needed for people to grow and survivors don't exist unless there is hardship. I'd dare say most people on this planet have experienced hardship. So of course people love Loki. We see ourselves in him. How we can be cruel when pushed too far, how we wish to be good, how hard it is to be good when life drags you through the dirt, how acceptance can feel like a breath of fresh air we are afraid is filled with poison. How we just want friends to love and be loved back and family that accepts us for who we are. It's not easy. No matter what path you take, it's going to be hard. But the path of the villain leaves us sick and hateful and constantly unhappy. At least the path of the hero will leave you tied to responsibilities, never to see your friends again, though they will be safe because you made it so. But the path of normal everyday people? At least you get to keep on living, with friends and family and the possibility of losing them or making more/new ones. There will always be another survivor that relates to you. They're out there somewhere, you just have to find them.
I'm suprised this came out before Thor: Love and Thunder, because it shows was one of the few gods that tried, all other gods don't care, but Loki tried.
the show loki pretty much convinced me marvel should do a villian league on the main screen. in the absence of heros villians thrived. used the snap as a great start and beginning for some of them. this loki became great because they took him out of the puppet role that was placed on him by the marvel universe. can you imagine the villians they could recreate that were low performers before but better now? they can even use the accords that turn good man into bad guys and anyone with powers into a villian.
I cant wait for season 2 to come out. Loki is one of my favorite marvel avengers, I think it's perfect how he falls in love with silvi because he's falling in love with himself. With out about Loki is a hero not a villain, he followed all his fathers rules and wasn't good enough but when he broke them he still wane good enough. He was never a villain, he was just broken.
"You know life is about growth, it's about change but you still wanna stay the same. I guess what I'm tryna say is you will always be the god of mischief, but you could be more." Well that's the whole Loki series summed up.

He was always looked at from a low perspective.. he was never as “good as Thor” he was the one who had his mom killed yet in the end he still ended up sacrificing himself for his brother.. he may have not been considered “good” but to me he always was. Sure he had his bad moments but didn’t everyone? In the end he lost everything, his mom, his dad, his brother, his home, mobius, and Sylvie 😭😭😭 why couldn’t they give him-a break!!! They could’ve gave sylvie and Loki a happily ever after he needs at least one
his story is about work, he needs to work hard to rule, to keep his family, to keep his friends. so if anything is anything, his story will end with him finally getting his moment of happiness, after a whole life of work.
Just because someone stumbles and loses their path, doesn't mean they're lost forever. -Professor X
Ha ba!!!! How did Loki lose his Morbius? 🤣
Loki is like real life. What is hard, miserable and leaves you hanging at the end? Life.....
I honestly didn’t think his story could get any sadder until the season 2 finale
It is quite sad how he never succeeded but in the end he was succesfull to give his life for others.
People here after season 2 finale?? It was so bittersweet.
👇
I have seen in countless times, but still every time feels like a completely new experience. Amazing work
Back then we didn't know it would be one of the best MCU projects of all time.
Symbolism.
That's a good analysis! I'm glad you liked it. Thank you!
@@EscathonEdits Yesssss. All this has me hyped for that one battle in which Loki will win! Although that would cause an IRREVERSIBLE nexus event lmfao.
Loki is my favorite. His changes are human.
Beautiful done! Cinematic masterpiece! Perfectly captures how Loki really is: not a villain but a misunderstood hero, and when he tries to do the right thing he always gets punished for it. Truly sad but, definitely well defined. I will always love Loki as a character and the way Tom portrays him, is amazingly well done. Tom is Loki and Loki is Tom, no one can change my mind he is made for this role.
Thank you so much, wow. Yeah, Tom is Loki, and no other actor should ever try to replace him as long as he is willing to be Loki. (With the exception of multiverse needing different Loki's of course hah) But, I agree fully!
@@EscathonEdits I agree with you as well keep up the fantastic work 😊👍
@@DarkestMischief490 Much obliged!
Such a great character and glad that the actor has remained with it
Agreeeed!
Now he is the God Of The Multiverse
"You Either Die A Villain, Or See Yourself Turn Into A Hero
ONLY When THERE Is Nobody To Save"
I just want to hug Loki. ... I really do.
Loki and Severus are probably one of my MOST favorite villain.... if WE consider them a villain, we all hate them at the start but ended up loving them most at the end
The thing about tricksters, you don’t become one by choice. You’re made into one emotionally/mentally.
I must freaking watch this show
Now, God who succeeded
You either die a villlian or live long enough to see yourself become the hero.
God of multiverse 💚
Lowkey Loki lowkey staying lowkey on Likee like the Lowkey Loki that he is
Always gets me when Loki stands up to Thanos and finally says "I, Loki, Prince of Asgard" after saying "Of Jotunheim" for so long - he'd finally accepted his place next to Thor. Really hope when we get Loki S2 that the variant Loki teams up with Thor again.
Inspires me when I am down, he plays a god, but he is so relatable...he makes me shed a tear
Loki has one of the best written character arcs. ^^
Agreed!
Loki is always on my favorite MCU characters list
Can’t wait for season 2 man i ngl wanna see our Thor meet this Loki and have Loki tell Thor everything that has happened
Would love to see Thor interact with this Loki. That would be quite so interesting and moving.
@@EscathonEdits yess agreed
A year later Loki is propbably the most powerul god in the MCU.
There are no words to express how I feel after finding this.
I hope those words which cannot be found are good!
@@EscathonEdits oh but in regards to the video 5***** I'm an old UA-cam user since well it's creation. Small sigh see sir I'm crippled with insanity I know too much. Too self aware. Sounds hard to believe but I'm a reality bender.
Just by existing I warp Reality. I just don't know what to do, what values to hold, what ideals to embody.
And now I have literally no one in my life. No friends, no family, nothing.
Sighs thank you for your time sir.
Good day
I feel like "There are always men like you." doesn't always get the credit it deserves.
Owen nailed this role. I can see his character being the leader of the young avengers.
the show loki pretty much convinced me marvel should do a villian league on the main screen. in the absence of heros villians thrived. used the snap as a great start and beginning for some of them. this loki became great because they took him out of the puppet role that was placed on him by the marvel universe. can you imagine the villians they could recreate that were low performers before but better now? they can even use the accords that turn good man into bad guys and anyone with powers into a villian.
Loki is such a good fucking show. Actually the best thing they’ve put out.
Watching this gave me the chills
now that s2 ended with PERFECT ending, edit again with s2 cuz he really is God who Tried fr mate
The best villains are the relatable ones... love seeing his character arch
title:the god who rewrote his story
He looks so BADASS in 1:34 especially with the background music!
this is the best cinematic construct ive come across.
Thank you so much!
You either die a villain, or live long enough to see yourself becoming a hero ....
Now that's a spin on it.
"You know life is about growth, it's about change but you still wanna stay the same. I guess what I'm tryna say is you will always be the god of mischief, but you could be more." Well that's the whole Loki series summed up.
Precisely why I added it! It covers so much.
@@EscathonEdits good decision. Also nice edit bro :)
It's amazing that he realized what makes him Loki
this video has a glorious purpose
Haha, indeed it has! burdened with glorious purpose!
Thank you for watching! :)
Haha, Very True
He has lost so much, and carries on again and again.
Wow that was a great well put together video mate, very moving and clips were perfect with the music a great advert for the character!!
Must of taken ages, loved it mate 🔥🔥👍🏻
Thank you for checking it out! I appreciate it man. It was a lot of fun putting this one together! Glad you enjoyed it! ^^
that title has to be the most accurate, real and sad description i have ever seen...
I didnt need all the feels back with only a month to go my man! But great job on the editing and the brass additions, i damn near cried lmfao
Glad you enjoyed it!
Loki was at a stage where he doesn't have anyone who cares about him.
Every scene in this vid made me ger Goosebumps!! Great work bro!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
