I did not have time to make the comb originally, but I wore this style to my best friend's baby shower in March and go so many compliments on it. Now with Easter coming on Sunday I decided to make the hair comb to wear with my outfit! I love these combination tutorials! It was because of you that I decided to try my hand at making a torque for my Faire Garb. Thank you for your wonderful tutorials. I am constantly wearing them to school. It has gotten to a point where my cohorts are always curious how I am going to do my hair everyday for school. Again thank you for the wonderful inspiration!

This is great. I really love how with Black Sails, the actresses seem to use a lot of haircombs and -forks like they used to until quite recently. I have a small collection of antique hair accessoiries (although not from colonial times) and I love seeing hair being done somewhat authentically accurate. It's a detail that is often overlooked. And it's not easy to come up with hairstyles to wear my old combs. So: Great! ...will you be doing more Black Sails hairtutorials? :)
Marjo Kei What a happy coincidence! I used to do so many other comb/fork videos but I never got a lot of great feedback so I started to think most of my viewers preferred other things. At the moment I only have one other Black Sails style that I'm thinking of but if you had any suggestions I'd definitely give them a shot.
