I think like Sansa wore something like this in the finale when Jon leaves.
I don't know why but even though she's never been a major character, or even a supporting character at that, I've always liked Lyanna, from what little there is to know about her. I love this look, it's so fitting for her, braided Stark style with a bit of elegance.
savannahissavvy I feel that exact way. I've been speculating about her for years, so it was wonderful when they touched on her last, and this season. I read somewhere that GRRM wouldn't let Benioff and Weiss do the show unless they guessed who Jon's Mom was correctly, lol. Obviously they gave the answer so many of us hoped was the actual answer.
And they couldn't have chosen a lovelier actress. She was perfect. Her whole aesthetic was incredible. That dress!
I know, it was gorgeous, I wish we had gotten to see more of the wedding. Both the actors for Lyanna and Rhaegar were exactly as I pictured them. I'm hoping next season Bran will show us more about them.

Did you read the books dumbass. Marriages under Westerosi law cannot be annulled when it is consummated! Elia and Rheagar had 2 kids and polygamy is illegal.

Qwerty Qaz First off, I'm happy to talk GOT with anyone - and YES. I read the books - probably long before you did - if you wanna debate, or even disagree with me, ok. But why not politely? No reason for hostility, especially under a beauty video....
Second. The show and the books are two separate beasts. Every GOT fan knows this. This is a hairstyle. Based off the television version of Lyanna. I don't know how that's not obvious. And and in Weiss and Benioff's Westeros, Rhaegar & Lyanna wed, legitimately.
The whole internet flipped out when this was teased earlier in the season, and then revealed in the finale. Maybe you were under a rock? Maybe you're an exclusive book reader? Do you.
