Hey guys, sorry for the re-release, but there was a mistake in the recap of the first video. My OCD would not allow that, so I fixed it and re-released it. Feel free to watch it again though! I won't complain!
@@OakKnobFarm ha ha fixed. Once the views from this one die down, I'll take it offline. The fixed version is already up. Lol... Sigh... Who's in charge of quality control around here anyways? Ha ha
@@TheRipeTomatoFarms ooh I know that yes 😂 1 time I got a courgettes that’s 1 meter in length because I didn’t see it 😂 And this is really tru I really got a 1 meter courgettes
Why are my squash roots starting to I push through soil surface? I already potted them up because I thought the first time it happened the seedlings were just outgrowing their pot. And now I think I over watered from bottom cuz it looks like dew on leaves last two mornings. Help.
I made the mistake of growing zucchini seedlings from seed in ambient indoor light. They got tall thin stems. When I planted them out they were doing well until about the 5th zucchini fruit. At that point the 5th zucchini started bulging at one end about three times the thickness of the rest of the zucchini, stopped producing fruits and become very prone to falling over. The stem was very thin just above the soil, so the plants were bottlenecking at that point of the stem. Lesson learned. Next time I will grow them under proper lights. Don't make the same mistake as me... start your zucchinis under good light, not ambient room light.
Very interesting! I do know that Zucchini can also be buried up to their first set of leaves when replanting as well. So that could help if your seedlings still do get too leggy! :-)
Still filming it. Zucchini is not yet planned outdoors here so it'd be a pretty boring video of my plants just sitting, waiting for the weather to warm up, lol
@@TheRipeTomatoFarms ohh lol thats true. I just noticed the date. I just planted my 8 week old plant in a 7 gallon grow bag with some good potting mix and Im desperately searching to find out if 7 gallon grow bag is gonna be big enough 😫what do you think?

What totally beautiful videos you make! Music adds so much. Well sourced, full of info. Hope you have videos on fall gardens for the south!
Thanks so much! Appreciate the support!
Thank you for this! I didn’t know you can start ahead indoor!! 🙌
Definitely Anna. For most people, it grows fast enough that you don't have to.....but anything I can start off-site earlier..I'm 100% in for it. :-)
Love these videos. Getting a little warmer here can’t wait for spring. Watching again. Trying to figure out what the OCD change was!!! 😂
Ha ha it was in the writing of the recap. The first line had "before" twice. Argghh sooo annoying, LOL!
Love your videos dude, you do an amazing job!
So thankful I found your channel.
And I appreciate that you did! :-)

I have found your recommendation of watering the pots prior to seed sowing to be extremely helpful. Thanks
The music is brutal !!

Hey Monika, ha ha, sorry for the duplicate video...there was a grave error in the first one's recap......my OCD kicked in so I had to fix it!

@TheRipeTomatoFarms ,,, So do you think that will work for me??
@@ezclean7022 plenty big enough... You could have been gone smaller. Most of the action for a zucchini plant is above ground.
@@TheRipeTomatoFarms I've only grown zucchini in- ground before, so I went with a 10 gallon grow bag for 2 plants.
