- Vlogmas day 3! We've managed to find a gorgeous cast iron bath tub in a scrap yard for €30 to create our wood fired bath, so now the project can begin.
We also find some treasure at the side of the road...

i love your total unpretentious realness !!!! Theo's exuberance on the couch find was priceless
That sofa is called a "jack knife" bed. Bea, when you clean your sink stand, you might want to spray it with a clear sealer so that it doesn't rush much further.
That tub and sink are amazing!
I knew someone long ago who had an old horse trough bathtub/hot tub outside with a fire under it. There were wooden slats to protect from the hot sides. You could always just fill a barrel to heat the water and gravity feed it into tub when hot. You two are so fun to watch. Stay happy and safe.
During the 80's and 90's I hitch hiked a lot around Europe and by far one of the easiest and quickest forms of large camp shelter I often saw was a large tarpaulin from trucks and waggons. I would like to suggest you ask your subscribers to get one for you as they are large, expensive and quite hard to find independantly. With say a 40 foot tarp, you can make all manner of temporary shelters that would cover most of your camp. If you built off the van you could have a massive awning, which you could use as a woodstore, kitchen, store room, studio, workshop or anything you needed. It can then be folded up when not in use. Just an idea......
Crazy olive-eating couch potatoes. 😆
Have just found you on UA-cam, but you really scored, that’s a bonzer tub, and the sink OMG!
All your talk of an 'outside inside space' reminded me of Hyacinth Bucket. 😱😂
What fun to travel back in time! I didn't know you two then... 😞 How did I get by without your bright spot in my life?
Lol when we were in Spain we saw lots of sofa's dumped at the side of the road but there was usually a scantily dressed young lady nearby........ hope your sofa isn't spoken for 😂😂😂
WOW you two have more energy than 10 men! So much fun and many laughs. Things will be great as they take shape. Do you take a time off to catch your breath and chill out? Thank you for sharing your new adventure on the land in Portugal. Oh yes I have two cats and they are so independent, they only want to be touched when they choose to! Silly creatures.
I’m so happy for you kids! You’re just amazing souls and truly working hard to give yourselves the best life possible. I love your adventurous spirit and honestly how frugal you are. So many nowadays have to have everything brand new, super pricey, name brand, “all the rage” type “stuff.” Theos joy over an old futon sofa was delightful to see. Shoot a clean, some weatherproofing (which can be as easy a couple tarps or bags pinned around with some cute blankets tossed about to cover it and make it pretty) you’ll have a lovely place to sit and enjoy the outdoors! You’re just dolls! Love it! Love sweet Gingy enjoying her new home so much too. The bath will be EPIC when completed! I mean a warm bath, under the stars of your own land...does it get any better?? I think not! TFS! Look forward to the tree decorating. Hassle back potatoes are divine! I’m a meat eater so I love them with bacon, sour cream, chives, cheese or stuffed with steak or chicken or topped with chili and cheese is AHHHMAAAZING! Endless possibilities. Blessings always~ Lisa
You may have heard of this product, but we used Plasticote spray, undercoat and topcoat for our 1966 caravan kitchen sink. Must have a go at Hasselback potatoes, they look delicious. Best wishes from Susan in UK.
love your cooking segments, pls do more and thanks so much
Absolutely love this series, your 2 are my fav's, your a recent discovery for me as i am new to you tube. Now I know why the grandkids dont watch the tely.
Love the couch routine😂😂you two are so funny! Best vlogmas series.
Hej, You too! On the net you shurly could find the construcktion drawings for a reel barrel tub, wood heated I think that could fit you better, to boil, soke in at the same time. Must be loads of old olive tree there to make it of ! It is sow nice that you take the opportunity to use the things you find arround you! I was looking at the Swedish versions and ther are a "Hand book" how to build a wild grownd, bathtub and a round sauna, offcorse the use all new material etc.etc, but ther are offcorse plenty way to make your own style! BarbroSweden
Are you sure the mushrooms you’re feeding Theo aren’t the magic type?lol he’s like a kid who has ate a bag of skittles sweets he’s hyper
Very funny, glad you're enjoying yourselves and lovely to see Gingy back in the picture.
I would defiantly make a lid for the bath help alot when to keep temp up when heating it
