I grew up listening to them in the 70s! We just really had the best music back then and into the 80s, we were so lucky. The song September by them is one of the best songs ever made. Nobody is making music like this anymore, that just makes you so joyful.
EWF outfits were consciously chosen to represent African royalty. Along with the album covers and many of the song themes, they consistently wanted to show pride in their African ancestry. It was all deliberate and planned out.
Guys! They are still touring! My son took me to see them for my 70th birthday 5 years ago. WHAT a good time!!! No bass player can dance like Verdine White!
Now you’re talkin’ , fellas!!!!!!! Best dance music in the world!! Genius musicianship. Wakanda fashion !! I used to be a Disco dance instructor- I’ve taught many a class to this banger!!!! 😊❤ Love Maurice White in this. Shining Star, Let’s Groove, Reasons, more more!!!!❤
Dudes, SUN GODDESS, NEW WORLD SYMPHONY, off the Great album GRATITUDE, saw them twice in the mid 70's, the Emotions were the opening act. Best show ever.
You can argue Earth Wind and Fire is the greatest musical band of all time. Thats all them. The vocals and instrumentation along with compositions of their songs are amazing.
All of you need to watch E W & F being honoured at the Kennedy Center. The love and overwhelming RESPECT shown to these artists was absolutely astounding. I found myself tearing up several times.❤❤❤
Back in the 70's and 80's many of us rockers were not very accepting of other genres of music (remember diso record burning events?) But 2 groups that even the rockers respected were Earth, Wind, and Fire and Tower of Power. They were both undeniable!
Love them! Gah, the exuberance! The joyous sound! One can't be mad or sad with this playing only feeling glad to have grown up with these awesome entertainers!
Saw these guys at the Old Fillmore Auditorium around the late 1960s. I was on a date with the guy who became the trumpet player for Boz Skaggs. He was thrilled with brass section. Young and havin' fun.
'Got To Be Real' was Cheryl Lynn. The Emotions were sisters. They even had a reserve sister who would step in when one of the originals was unavailable. Their biggest hits at least here in the UK were this one with EW&F, 'Flowers', 'Don't Ask My Neighbours' and you mentioned 'Best of My Love'
Damn.. thats a "well oiled machine, firing on all cylinders". I was born in the mid 80's but my mom taught us kids growing up to have respect for earth, wind and fire.
Back when this song first hit, I was a HS senior or junior in California. House parties bumping, rooms smelling like sweat and Geri Curl moisturizer and colognes LOL. Youngster getting it in. Fun times!
Ready to have your mind blown?🤔 Tom Joyner did an interview with Maurice and Philip in the early '80s were the 2 dropped a bombshell by informing the fans that Phillip and Maurice, the 2 alone, did every vocal on the first 4 to 5 Earth Wind & Fire studio albums.🤯 Female singers were hired only when Earth Wind & Fire would perform live in touring.🎤 Philip also said that Maurice has the same high vocal range as he.😳 The interview is on UA-cam.🤓
Say whatever else you want about dance music but most of it is HAPPY! Marketing experts have said that disco is the best music to play in retail stores for sales.
Y'all really bring it, your now my favorite reaction channel, thanks for the kick-ass entertainment. In my humble opinion, "Fantasy" is EWF's finest tune. It'd be sweet to have y'all react to it. Peace Out 😊✌️
Thanks, guys.. so much fun! I realize this is a "staged" video, but they pretty much put on the same show when they're actually live... gotta dig Verdine White on bass (singer Maurice's bro).. and of course singer Phillip Bailey when he comes into the high parts! and the Emotions.. awesome.. can't say enough about this talent.. and not to ignore the musicians & especially the bass section.. appreciate your reactions!
EVERYBODY digs the elements ... "I Am" (this one) is one of the best albums ever recorded, period ... Play Side One all the way through ... Maurice White was a mad scientist, in the best way possible ...
Energy for days! Corey you know a high forehead is a sign of wisdom/ intelligence in some countries. I know because a Somalian colleague of mine told me not to hide my fivehead when the wind blew my bangs back on a stormy day 😅 So you must be jealous 😛
We all love EWF. Cleaning the house, going over family/friends houses. Still, every time we hear EWF we react the same way. Immediately smile, singing, dancing, throwing arms up. Imagine being at the Atlanta Motor Speedway (for over 12 hrs being 1 of 5 black ppl there). The confederate flags, hats, t shirts everywhere. So @ 2am 1 of my friends/coworkers plays parliament. ERRRYBODY lost they're d@mn minds & acted like WE act like when parliament comes on. I was stuck on stupid. I said WTF is this $hit?? What y'all know about some d@mn parliament. My girlfriend said what? Everybody loves them. They knew every word...THEN, there a$$es started a d@mn soul train line. Not me, I just watched like I was just shocked. It didn't matter that they couldn't dance, weren't on beat, nothing. They had so much fun. I had no business being there. Thankfully, my friends watched me @ all times & took great care of me. I couldn't walk away by myself. I didn't find out for hours that my girlfriend's dad (was the general mgr) had security watching me the whole time. They watched me like a hawk the entire time. I thought they were "friends" of them. My dumba$$ didn't even know what was going on.
Takes me back to Jr. High dances in '79, when my biggest worry in the world was whether my sweaty palm was making the back of my date's dress wet. ps~Love your channel, fellas, but since you all know the song you should've titled this video, "Review", not, "Reaction". At least one of y'all has to have never heard the song, or seen the video or live performance, for it to be a legit "reaction". Maybe one or more of you had never seen the video, in which case, just let us know that up front, so we know what's new and to whom. Cheers!

Well said happy days .
EWF outfits were consciously chosen to represent African royalty. Along with the album covers and many of the song themes, they consistently wanted to show pride in their African ancestry. It was all deliberate and planned out.
One of the best most amazing bands ever! RIP Maurice ❤😂🎉
Guys! They are still touring! My son took me to see them for my 70th birthday 5 years ago. WHAT a good time!!! No bass player can dance like Verdine White!
This is what I call 'Disco Funk'. Good Funk with a Disco style. Great music that appealed to a wide audience!
Now you’re talkin’ , fellas!!!!!!! Best dance music in the world!! Genius musicianship. Wakanda fashion !!
I used to be a Disco dance instructor- I’ve taught many a class to this banger!!!! 😊❤
Love Maurice White in this.
Shining Star, Let’s Groove, Reasons, more more!!!!❤
A band that Metal and Rock fans like me loved.
Dudes, SUN GODDESS, NEW WORLD SYMPHONY, off the Great album GRATITUDE, saw them twice in the mid 70's, the Emotions were the opening act. Best show ever.
Music is medicine.
You can argue Earth Wind and Fire is the greatest musical band of all time. Thats all them. The vocals and instrumentation along with compositions of their songs are amazing.
Loved this group.
One of the greatest
All of you need to watch E W & F being honoured at the Kennedy Center.

There was no way you could sit down on this song, you have to shake your groove thang. One of the best songs in the 70's.
Earth Wind and Fire rare gems 💎 Can't Let Go....All About Love.....Where Have All The Flowers Gone...
I could go on and on....
Great band! Great music! Let's Groove Tonight is one of my favorites!
Pure uncut Funk 🤘🏾
They toured with Chicago for a bit. Was such a great Concert. Got to see Maurice White right before he passed. RIP.
EW&F could fill any dance floor any time! ❤
They put on awesome concerts, they’re still touring after 50 years.
Wow, the memories! Now we need to honor the Disco Queen...Her Majesty Donna Summer!
Saw them in 1979 and 81, absolutely the best, musically, visually, and they would play over 2 hours and everyone got a solo at some point
I saw EWF in Clearwater in 2015.... they had 3 original members, but hell they were brilliant!
Love them! Gah, the exuberance! The joyous sound! One can't be mad or sad with this playing only feeling glad to have grown up with these awesome entertainers!
All these years of hearing this song and I never knew they were singing with them!!!
Same here!
@@christines1709 Yeah. I’m 60 years old. Never knew.
Love Maurice White's voice
There is a reason Earth Wind and Fire were given a Kennedy Centre award...Maurice White
So many great songs from this group!
Maurice White produced a lot of the Emotions music. They were sisters.
Saw these guys at the Old Fillmore Auditorium around the late 1960s. I was on a date with the guy who became the trumpet player for Boz Skaggs. He was thrilled with brass section. Young and havin' fun.
The 60s & the 70s had so many brilliant groups.
Fenom202 -- Yes, EWF are the GOAT! They were a staple with me since I was 11 years old in 1975! This song and video is so much fun.
When musicians sang, played and danced at the same time! ❤
Kool and the Gang/ Get Down On It has an undeniable groove too!
We just had more fun than any other generation. 👍❤🤙
Reminds me of going to the roller rink. This would get everyone out 🛼. It’s still fire 🔥. I was 8 years old.🎉
Nothing beats the 70"s.
Disco was made for dancin' baby!!! 💃 🕺 🎶 🎉 🎵 Hangin' at the disco was a workout 😅
This group was outstanding! They put out so many hits! Great job reviewing them!
Emotions jams.....Flowers......Don't Ask My Neighbors....
One of the greatest Motown music bands. Emblematic.
They were great (not Motown music or label though), Chicago groups duets with disco dance song
And they played great instrument
Damn.. thats a "well oiled machine, firing on all cylinders".
I was born in the mid 80's but my mom taught us kids growing up to have respect for earth, wind and fire.
They were bad ass
Back when this song first hit, I was a HS senior or junior in California. House parties bumping, rooms smelling like sweat and Geri Curl moisturizer and colognes LOL. Youngster getting it in. Fun times!
Love it!!! My favorite song of theirs is September! 🙌💓
Heck yea…..EWF…..like The Bee Gees, they appealed to all people and all color. Love them so much. Maurice and Phillip are great humans.
Love e.w.& 🔥✌️
Saw them twice and once with Barry White. Was so much fire it killed smokey the bear!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
One of my favorite songs!
ah you have to do "Let's Groove". it's timeless candy for the ears!!
Turn that up brother
Ready to have your mind blown?🤔 Tom Joyner did an interview with Maurice and Philip in the early '80s were the 2 dropped a bombshell by informing the fans that Phillip and Maurice, the 2 alone, did every vocal on the first 4 to 5 Earth Wind & Fire studio albums.🤯 Female singers were hired only when Earth Wind & Fire would perform live in touring.🎤 Philip also said that Maurice has the same high vocal range as he.😳 The interview is on UA-cam.🤓
I've danced under the mirror ball to this. ❤
Gorgeous clothes!
A great live band.
We had dance clubs all over in the 70s. It was fun
September is my favorite by them. Also like serpentine fire
Oh wow this takes me back ❤❤❤
Say whatever else you want about dance music but most of it is HAPPY! Marketing experts have said that disco is the best music to play in retail stores for sales.
We just called this "Soul" music back in the day...similar to Disco but better!
Y'all really bring it, your now my favorite reaction channel, thanks for the kick-ass entertainment. In my humble opinion, "Fantasy" is EWF's finest tune. It'd be sweet to have y'all react to it.
Peace Out 😊✌️
Concerts are FIRE
EWF is the greatest band ever! Their costume style was representing Ancient Kemet aka Egypt. They were trying to tell us something.
I love EWF. They are one of my favorite bands. I prefer their earlier work.
I love “Serpentine Fire”.
Love you guys ❤❤❤
Young Philip Bailly I think was a big high voice in the band!!
Love this song!

Saw them at the Big Event Center in Austin Texas 1979
EVERYBODY digs the elements ... "I Am" (this one) is one of the best albums ever recorded, period ... Play Side One all the way through ... Maurice White was a mad scientist, in the best way possible ...
When I was a kid I thought EW&F September were saying Polly-O… it was about string cheese
EWF produced Flowers, Don’t Want to Lose Your Love, and Best Of My Love.
You also had Kool and the Gang “ Get Down On It” AND the Ohio Players too back then! “ Skin Tight”!
My fave EWF was Let’s Groove.
Sly and the Family Stone set the dress code (although the capes were James Brown).
Corey Roy has the nerve to crack on Maurice White's hairline, looking like he took Don King's hair and made a beard.
Energy for days! Corey you know a high forehead is a sign of wisdom/ intelligence in some countries. I know because a Somalian colleague of mine told me not to hide my fivehead when the wind blew my bangs back on a stormy day 😅 So you must be jealous 😛
I want a costume

Jeez fellas, you talked through most of that.
San Antonio , Texas

That man made receding hairline sexy!❤
I think you guys would like "The Well" by The Marcus King Band".Bluesy Jazzy Southern Rock.
If you're murdering the dance floor, reply here.💃🕺
EW&F é foda!
“He got the Stephen A Smith” 😂
Check out Anything You Want by Earth Wind and Fire 🔥
You guys should do Easy by the Commodores
Dude who talked about Maurice White...take your hat off. Lol
I'm going to make a joke about you dudes...but its too rude.
Just saw E W & F and Lionel Ritchie 9/11
Still great❣️
