► The costs are broken currently so don't buy the critter launcher boom beach low/mid players unless it's fixed!

It's here! The New Boom Beach 2022 Update is here and it brings a few things (Supercell ID Improvements for starters!) that weren't detailed in the sneak peeks!
Boom Beach Update Hype is HERE! It's been far too long but this is great news! Boom Beach Laser Ranger Update Sneak Peek is interesting for a whole new reason... TWO major new items plus a TON of fixes (hopefully no new bugs). Coming to you with some dev build details aka boom beach hack gameplay.
The Boom Beach Critter Launcher will shake up Boom Beach like no other. New tiny, moving defenses will be weird but very interesting. Boom Beach Tribes, Boom Beach Mechs and more have been fixed too!

@@zmot I only have 1 account & it’s a crab account. I generally come in top 10 in Australia each month & stay above 1000 trophies (get attacked as often as possible). Also finish warships in diamond monthly. Had accrued 24,000 diamonds since last update. All this with a “dead” task force lol. Have over 8,000 power powder to burn, so that doesn’t hurt either

It was a bad idea to give them at hq14, lvl1 critters are balanced according to hq19 so they'll be OP for lower HQ levels

Th10 here, One spawned when an opponent captured my resource base, I haven't been able to take it back for 3 weeks 😢
Resource bases are a waste of time. Beach the outpost and if that doesn’t work find new opponent til someone flies in.

lol. It is a supercell update. of course 'bad bad bad things are going to happen'. I think it is awesome that you can target critter cannon critters.
My high hq lvl bases are low/mid 600vp and only get attacked 1-2 times a week, so I’m not sure critter cannons will make too much difference to my defence log. My low level account might face more difficulties for a while. Dr T level 3 was sometimes a struggle even before critter cannons. It might be interesting to see the lazor troops in action once I’ve upgraded them. But for me the best thing about the update is the ability to switch accounts quicker 😅. Too many unnecessary steps previously.
On the down side, my old iPad on iPadOS 15 crashes when trying to scout or attack some of the player bases on my map. Don’t know if the problem is device or OS specific, but my newer device on OS16 can scout those bases without any issue.
I like critter cannons. Makes the game a bit harder, and you have to come up with new attack strategies, makes the game more interesting. But, no, let's add another overpowered troop, and increase the power of other troops, to completely negate the new defensive building. When is an update not an update?

They need to add the critter stats to the critter launcher screen.
-fire rate (I assume 1 critter per second)
-critter health
-critter damage per second
They should give 1 gbe per critter killed
Then nobody would build critter launcher if it gives gbe.. since critter launcher attacks fast

@@Crispy983 and that's why top players put their non defensive buildings in the back to avoid the enemies getting more gbe.. then u would make 1 gbe per critter killed? Nobody would ever build critter launcher as how sucks it is
I think it would have made sense if they were prototypes instead coz they are way too op at low level and also counters tanks which is what most people use
Historically every regular defence they have ever built in the begginning has been op. Theyll balance it eventually probably by reducing critter damage across the board if i had to guess

When the next update friggn upset with the critter launcher when attacking. Game you take out one the game resets.

heya, i do have a question, namely do they pop infinite critters ? also does the speed at which they shoot critters ever go up or does the limit of critters they spawn ever go up ? ( i say this cuz when i did hammerman defends, one time i saw a max of 2-4 critters per launcher, while another time it seemed infinite), ty for the insight, knew and was annoyed by crits absorbing sparkys hack but the rest is news, PS : combining critter launchers with shocklaunchers helpds MASSIVELY for hammerman defenses, just make sure to keep boom canons and rockets not too far and you'll be golden (PPS : is it 'confirmed' or sth that their cost will go down ? because yeah, i'm hq 17 and just building em, not even upgrading em is more expensive than almost any upgrade i can even do at hq17.. rip) , ty 4 the vid, cheers m8

Your base had no blue statues, so you were looking at a best case scenario. Boosted blues could get ugly in a hurry.
Did anyone notice the cooking time for Laser Ranger (level 4) is "1h 13m 30s"? Really? That is oddly specific! LOL

i play all grenadiers...... critters are a big problem cous they spawn on my critters and run for my grenadiers. wich kills themselves in 1 hit... shiiiet this critter launcher is not fun for me xD
Yeah…. Grens most affected for sure. Switch to using Kavan with them and you should be okay
