The Boom Beach June update, "Summer Skies," is here, and it’s brought both excitement and frustration to the community. While there are many improvements and new features, some unexpected bugs have cropped up, causing quite a stir.
One of the major issues players are facing is with the Critters. They seem to be broken, not performing as expected in battles. This has led to a lot of frustration, but there's a silver lining - the community manager has hinted that this might be the groundwork for a potential new feature. What could this mean for future gameplay? We’ll have to wait and see!
Another significant issue is the matchmaking changes. Many players have reported that the new matchmaking system feels broken, leading to unbalanced battles and a challenging gameplay experience. This has especially impacted those aiming for the top of the leaderboards. Boom Beach’s new matchmaking system is supposed to create a fairer playing field, but it looks like there’s some tweaking needed.
Thanks to the incredible Boom Beach community, more bugs have come to light. We’ll be showing off a couple of these bugs and how you can workaround them while the team frantically works on fixes. We appreciate your patience as the developers plan either a maintenance break or another update to address these issues.
