I found out these are marketed as a 'Hot Chocolate Maker' in the UK, and apparently they're really popular? I don't know why I think that's so funny, but I do.
Seriously, this is one of the best reviews I've watched. Your honesty is refreshing as is your way of delivering your thoughts - such a deadpan matter of fact expression 😂 brilliant. Must add, that I love how you explained that it basically makes enough froth for one, so if you want to make enough for two, then buy a second machine 😂😂 You made my day 😘 I have this frother machine and the Aldi coffee machine. I've had both since 2014 and surprisingly they both still work. I do tend to get frustrated with how often I must seem to overfill with milk as I end up with a volcanic eruption of frothed milk which leads to a pet peeve of having to clean up extra ... It diminishes the joys of a cino at home. Anyway, have a great day 🇦🇺
I've got the same one. Would also agree. Too frothy and not enough milk. Would not recommend however because you can buy a $2 froth wand from ikea and a large frothing jug which is not only cheaper but can make more milk for 2 people.
I have had an Aldi fritter for years. So much more superior to Anko which milk sticks to. Aldi all the way for me. Will continue to buy in future when replacement required. Great value and better product compared to dearer ones.
Thanks for this, appreciate it very much! A quick question would be how long does it take to make a proper hot frothed milk, when compared to other barista style machine where you have to hold the milk cup and wait for it until the temperature is right? Thanks+
Bought one today to go with my Flair Signature PRO 2 espresso maker. I did the Froth option n seriously made a mountain of froth. I thought gosh how does anyone use this? Your review helped. It isn't awesome, but it warms the milk n kinda works. It means I can mindlessly heat the milk while I prepare the espresso.
This is brilliant. I don't care about the frother which i thnki is a bit hopeless (got mine for eight bucks from the Op Shop, but I love the way you've done this.
“If you want to make milk for two people; don’t have friends or make milk for two people” 😂

How many times do you recommend the Aldi Milk Frorther needs to switched on & off in heating milk for Latte, etc??
Does it warm the milk as it froths it or do you need to warm milk prior?
Thanks for the review.
I got myself 1 today.
It compliments my aeropress that i got from Aldi last week.

Phenominal video, nice job!

Been waiting for someone to make this video.
Thank you Mountains
Quick question, does it have a hot and cold function ? Cause mine was or finally hot and now it’s cold frothed milk.
I actually think it does! There should be an instruction manual online

That’s a good question, I’ll time it next time I use it and let you know
For posterity, without timing it specifically I'd say it only takes around 2-3 minutes.
Yes, better than other brands by far. Better price and better results.
2 minutes
"If you want to make milk for two people; don’t have friends, that's the answer"
That won't be a problem!
An honest review

I know exactly what you mean, I honestly don’t use the froth option, just the normal spinner!

I've had mine for 2 months and its no longer frothing like it used to..
Its now semi frothing and barely heating..
That’s sad to hear! I’ve had mine over a year and it’s still going strong. I’d return yours to the place you bought it rom
Thanks for the video. I am staying at an Airbnb and they have one. This video helped me work out how to use it.
You are most welcome.
Didn't quite get the name of the coffee champ. I currently use bunnings coffee beans lol
Lol funny and honest review!
Thanks!
I fill mine with milk then add 3 teaspoons of milo, and it makes a hot chocolate
