Aldi Expressi capsules are currently 44c per pod. Peel off the top membrane, take out the plastic lid, wash out the used coffee and reuse. Uses 5 gm of ground coffee, so 1kg of Vittoria coffee ($22 on sale) makes 200 cups at 11c per cup. AND you avoid the problem of the teeth not perforating the membrane. It's always good to flush AFTER use to stop refluxed grounds blocking the water jet, which is the commonest problem with these machines.
@EtheMonster96 Yeah mate. I'm certainly not a coffee connoisseur, however it's more than enough for my wife and I who were getting a bit fed up with instant :) With 10 or so different flavours, you cant go wrong!
Yeah, quite possibly. Bear in mind though, that there is a "revised" model out now. My one in this video over a year old! (still going strong, and still being used frequently I might add)
The machine is not good as a standard espresso machine (who buys it comparing to that anyway), but it makes decent coffee. The only thing I can complain about is that the machine tries to over extract the cofee resulting in bitter taste. I suggest you re- programme the machine with much lower presets. 100ml forced through that tiny capsule for a "small" cup is just insane. The crema becomes watery. I have also seen people extract the pod twice. If you want something like that then get a drip.
I find that running it a second time brings out all the bitter tastes in the pods, and the coffee ends up tasting like it was made in a dirty ashtray. At only 37 cents a pod, I would prefer to use a second one. But I generally use one pod and fill with hot milk. I was paying $5.50 for a coffee at the local cafe, where 37 cents for a coffee pod and $1.00 for a litre of milk makes more sense to my wallet.

Todd is a work colleague, and I'm sarcastic. I would like to expand on that and give you an excuse, or a reason, however none of it would be true. I am sarcastic because I am. :-)

What kind/brand of capsules fit this? Also if you happen to know what Reusable capsules fit it would be more helpful too.

Ma cafetiere ne fait plus de mousse. Que faire ?
You run it through one capsule a second time, since they are really intended for one shot does this make it weak ?

I just got the 2013 version, love it
@CapsuleAddiction Why thanks for the tip! Care to explain what's wrong and why? Possibly provide a free clue?
What’s wrong with it ? I have the same thing and it just puts water

You're over-extracting the pod, you'll get a really awful and bitter tasting coffee.
