so he thanked coffeezilla after his initial threat to sue went south, and now over a year later he wants to sue again for the same things that he previous absolved coffee of, that's not gonna pan out well in court
Coffee didn't say anything that wasn't true. He did research and has proof of scam. He even gave them a chance to tell their side. They blew it. Paul needs to prove what coffee says isn't true if he even wants a chance of winning a lawsuit.
During an active lawsuit Coffee shouldn't be making more videos about the scam, so this most likely is merely an attempt to silence him for a while. It isn't smart to talk about a lawsuit while its active even when you know you'll win. The scammer isn't doing this to win, he's doing this in an attempt to stop future videos for a while untill most people have forgotten about it.
Logan Paul recklessly drove a jeep up and down a restricted beach where sea turtles lay their eggs, ignoring all of the warning signs just for a UA-cam video while in Puerto Rico.
That's disgusting and so cruel. I've never heard about that, but along with filming a man who committed suicide and scamming fans, he should have been banned from the platform or at least age restrict his videos, so no one would be watching as his audience were kids. Him, his brother and their father are awful people
None of that matters when nothing ever happens to him. Like how long has this guy been hated this much, a decade? It's no different from gamers calling EA the worst company year after year, but EA is still there doing it's thing.

I got a strong hunch that Coffee did find this criminal record but, fair as he is, Coffee throught it was pretty much irrelevant because A) the recent things speak much louder and B) according to coffee people deserve a second chance.
If he spends all the money on trying to throw slap lawsuits around, then he might be able to weasel his way out of debt to the buyers by declaring "bankruptcy" but if he hands off all his assets to someone else for a few years before doing so, he can basically keep all his crap and lifestyle with a seven year slap on the wrist with his credit or ability to make money with any "business" with his name attached to it. It's a very poor explanation, but the point is the dude is gonna slink away like the slimeball he always has been.
yea cause he probably plans to do more scams in the future. this lawsuit is to scare any future people from investigating his future scams. like watch out, thanks to america's shit laws i can absolutely devastate you financially, even if you're right and even if you win the lawsuit, it will bankrupt you.
Genius move, try a Slap lawsuit in a state where anti slap can basically ruin your life, while being the poster child of terrible influencers. Truly Galaxy brain move

Here is the fun part. Paul caused damage and tries to weasel his way out by being silent. Someone else causes him damage with the truth, and he sues. What a petty child.
The fun part is that logan reports one sidedly to make himself the victim here, while coffeezilla has already uncovered all of logan's crimes regarding cryptozoo. It's like trying to excuse yourself after being convicted.
Logan has already lost the lawsuit, he has already admitted guilt when he apologized shortly after coffee released cyrpto zoo. Logan was sued because of that apology because he admitted guilt.
He would lose anyway since cofeezilla only stated facts he could prove. In the US it's not illegal defamation if the information you provide is backed by fact or presented clearly as opinion. The only defamation that can obtain damages are incorrect statements presented as facts without evidence.
@@Vincent_Beers anyone can sue anyone for defamation, but proving it in court is difficult. This is all optics for Logan to try and make himself look innocent.
Not only that but in the parts of the lawsuit that Atozy skipped over , mostly because it was just Paul's lawyers trying to write fiction about his life, he flat out admits to CryptoZoo being a scam but tries to claim he had nothing to do with the scam over and over.
@@Vincent_BeersHonestly suing for defamation even if it's a lie is hard in the US, because free speech takes a higher priority in the law than truth. That's just a general statement and of course it's more in-depth, multiple things makes defamation one of the hardest things to sue.

Did Logan forget that those videos have the leaked text logs of him and his team performing what is basically insider trading? He really want that showing up in a court?
the reason why Logan is issuing more threats of lawsuits is because his back is up against the proverbial wall. he knows that if it actually gets taken to court, he's screwed, even without the text logs that incriminate him since he absolved Coffeezilla before for the exact same reason Coffee was suing him the first place. not to mention the people suing him Coffeezilla and Attorney Tom (and presumably others) aren't in it for the money so he can't pay them off.
It’s a total deflection/projection/redirection tactic. “Don’t talk about me! Talk about how coffeezilla is only doing it for money!” By projecting and attacking coffee’s credibility he hopes to shield his flaws and scams from being so apparent
Negative. What’s new in his life. Woman. Bad women make stupid men do stupid things because they stop listening to friends and start listening to absolutely terrible advice from the wife.
This is the sole obvious truth to this whole debacle. Logan Paul is an idiot and this whole shit storm is caused and perpetuated by that stupidity. It sounds like Paul is truthful that his intent was never malicious. It makes sense that a stupid person would take offense to being framed as malicious when really they were just stupid. Logan Paul doesn’t want to be seen as a bad person. Unfortunately, he’s not okay with being seen as a stupid person either, despite the fact that not owning his stupidity makes him seem like a bad person.

@@kos2919 well Coffee has proof that these messages/group chats exist. If they were deleted then he is fucked. That is literally deleting evidence.
@@loganparry2676 I mean deleting the transactions and other business stuff.
@@kos2919 the legal people will find evidence of that if that’s the case and Logan will be in even more trouble lol
@@kos2919lawyers can personally retrieve deleted texts and emails through a third party. People think just cause that it's publicly deleted it means it's gone forever, it isn't. It's still backed up in a server. Paul is cooked like hibachi the minute this goes into discovery
This guy challenged Mike Tyson to a boxing match, he ain't that smart 😂😂
Wouldn't Logan have to prove Coffee lied? As far as we know, ol boy just stated fact.
I believe Logan Paul has to prove Coffeezilla lied AND prove that the lie lost him revenue.
@@ciaociara Not only that, because Logan is a public figure, he'd have to prove Cofeezilla INTENTIONALLY lied. Not just 'oh he said something that turned out to have mistakes' but that he knew Logan Paul was 100% innocent (he's not, but we're pretending for the argument he is) and decided to fuck him over on purpose with malicious intent. You can say things you believe to be true with facts to back it, and that's not defamation. If you're told you're wrong (and actually are wrong) and double down, THEN that could be defamation.
But iirc, these videos go over Logan's claim to innocence and then show why Coffeezilla thinks they're bullshit. Which means the entire video is based on Coffee's opinion and beliefs. You can't sue someone for their opinion. I mean, you CAN, but you won't win.
@@MissingmyBabbu Yup, Logan being a public figure sets the defamation bar very high. Lets all hope Coffee makes it to discovery since this will likely be thrown out by anti slapp.
@@bobbygetsbanned6049though that'll be entertaining too seeing Logan get his ass Anti-SLAPP'd, since that'll certainly cost him a pretty penny.
@@ciaociaraHe’s not gonna get anywhere with that argument. Even if the courts grant him permission to look into Coffeezilla stuff assuming he actually gets that far (which I doubt), I don’t think he’s gonna find anything.
It feels like Logan Paul is using this lawsuit as his last scapegoat to avoid paying back the victims he scammed because he knows if he does, he’ll legally be recognized for committing a felony.
He’s so filthy rich, *he doesn’t give a damn about his image.* Everyone knows he’s a scammer, Logan is suing ‘Zilla to *deter other smaller channels from talking about Crypto Zoo and/or ego.*
Wasn’t that bitboy’s motivation for suing Atozy?
more like his ego forces him to care about his public image despite his wealth.
This reads as "How dare you hold me accountable for my scam"
Imagine suing someone for exposing your scam. Has he never heard of discovery? All of these crypto scams don’t get prosecuted but if direct evidence is entered into the record during discovery he might actually be charged.
The phrase "reckless clout goblin" has actually been used in a legal filing - I can now die happy
The internet has been a beautiful thing in a lot of abstract ways
Logan Paul - 'I've come up with a great concept for a crypto game'.
Also Logan - 'How dare you say it's my project! I'll sue you!'
Imagine Logan Paul's drink company Prime had this same issue. "The high concentration of lead in the drinks isn't my fault. It's because the people I trusted didn't vet the people they hired."
His drink is already insanely unhealthy for you regardless, oompaville did a fairly well researched dive (pun intended) into the ingredients and effects it has on the body. It's more unhealthy than traditional energy drinks. (Allegedly)
I think they need to investigate "prime"
@@JustLennyBenny Yes, in much of the EU, the Prime drink you can buy has different contents than the one sold in the US because of food and drink regulations.
Logan
:" I promise to be better... at scamming"
The fact that Logan hasn't paid everyone back, that he had a contract with the ones he did pay not to sue him and that he never honored that claim of releasing the game is really going to hurt his case. The reality is that nothing Coffeezilla said was untrue and it's only thanks to his action that Logan Paul did anything at all which is another fact that will hurt his case.
Bro hired a criminal then blames coffee 😅
Plot twist: Legal Eagle gets off his seat and defends CoffeeZilla
This would be awesome!
He's way too busy crying over the SCOTUS ruling.
Imagine that, that would be the tag team to end all tag teams
Legal Eagle has extremely bad takes on a lot of things. He is more of an activist with a bar number than a legitimate lawyer.
It would be better if someone like Attorney Tom helps coffee.@@flamingdog9207
There has been some crossover before I believe.

I know pokemon got bad with scarlet/violet being 7/10, but crypozoo? that is what your 2nd grader does in art class.
"It wasn't me, it was the team of criminals that I put together"
Bro legit gathered the avengers of scumbags and thinks he isn’t accountable
One of which scammed him personally before all this
I'll never understand why multi-millionaires who can just enjoy life doing what they want would choose to add this much drama and stress in their life.
You made cryptozoo to make money, it failed but you made up for it with Prime. Just enjoy it dude, own up to what you did, and pay the people back.
When you have enough money to become a god among men life will get boring.
Money is a hell of a drug.
Logan Paul has always been a douche in my mind. This just reaffirms my belief.
Agreed. He may avoid legal consequences but it’s satisfying enough watching him cry over his reputation being ruined by something he personally orchestrated.
He's always been a sociopath in my mind. He fits the clinical diagnosis.
I'm looking through comments to see his fan boys come to his defense....not seeing any.
@@bibbicus3942 not on this thread at least
Coffeezilla is a hero for his work. Glad a lot of attorney YTrs jumped up to support his work.
I don't know who I despise more, Logan Paul or the people who gave Logan Paul money!
If you give an idiot money then you have only yourself to blame. Those people are simpletons
LP for preyin on them
Both!
I mean, most of Logans money comes from preying on little kids, not their fault.
Idiots will always find a way to loose their money, but you can still blame the poeple taking advantage of them
The disregard Logan Paul has shown for the trust placed in him by his audience is deeply disappointing. Not only was this a reckless use of his platform, but the dismissal of responsible behavior in favor of personal gain (regardless of personal profit or not) is extremely concerning.
thats why i fucking hate him
The embodiment of everything wrong with capitalism. This isn’t a criticism of capitalism btw, but the soulless nature of profit over people and then having no real repercussions. The people need to figure out how to wage economic warfare towards those who have built their fortune party on scamming others.
People who gave him money in the first place deserves it. How many times he is going to scam the audience and gets away with with it every single time?, yet people still keep throwing money at him hahaha
"A journalist without journalist training" ... so is Logan Paul the recognized entertainer an entertainer with entertainer training?
Lmfao that part 😂😂😂
An unlicensed filmmaker, actor, and script writer with no affiliation with any of the relevant unions, and a fighter with no pedigree.
yeah and the funny part I think is the only reason Logan even learned about Eddy and Cryptoking is through Coffee's excellent investigative work.
Do we really think that Logan truly believes you need a private investigators license to ask people questions and speak about public information? Or is he trying to bullshit us for his lawsuit?
@@aduckofsomesort The latter.
the most shocking thing about this was that someone thought logan paul had something left of his image. He did not.

Lol I know, everyone thought he was garbage long because the crypto scam
I would think this is exactly what the anti-slapp suit was designed to counter. A rich boy filing a frivolous law suit to crush someone with less money but a valid point.
One of the best parts of this lawsuit - If it makes it passed the Anti-SLAPP stage Coffee is going to have the ability to request full discovery on everything Paul has been involved with including anything he had to do with Dink, and only because Paul's lawyers mentioned basically his whole life in the suit.
I'm almost certain that was Paul's idea and he ignored his lawyers advice who decided that they get paid either way.
@@bejammin2000nah, his team of lawyers filed this "complaint" at his direction. This is a brief from a group of people who are OK with selling their legal souls for Paul's Money, probably backed with Primes earnings for the last 5 years for when Paul loses.

Im convinced that nobody who sues for defamation actually knows what being the plaintif of a defamation suit means.
Hey Logan, it means you have to go to court, be put under oath, and show that Coffeezilla is lying. Which he wasn't. So good luck, bud.
He doesn't have to show that he was lying, he just has to show that it is more likely than not that what Coffee said was substantially untrue, whether it be malicious or negligent. He still doesn't have a case outside of a weak arguments on if the game is his or actually a scam for Coffee to call it his scam, but the distinction is important.
The only defamation case I’ve seen on UA-cam recently that wasn’t filed for malicious reasons on the side of the plaintiff was the one college professor suing the tiktok psychic who literally accused her of a murder that she has absolutely no connection to. And I entirely support her suit because THAT is defamation,.
And the funniest bit is that even now, the big wigs will not drop Paul because his name brings in money, so Paul knows he can just do whatever the fuck he wants, SO HE WILL. It's a cycle of enabling over here.
Exactly and doesn't help that youtubers also turn a blind eye and also associate with him / are in business with him even the biggest from the uk.., just farming kids for money
Still don't understand why nobody talks about the chats between logan, eddy and the other guy talking about how to manipulate the market and slowly rugpull the whole project.

Then 2 seconds later say he (Logan) was fooled by the guy claiming he owns a NY sports team. 😂😂😂

Logan Paul: "Just because i trusted my team."
Why, yes Pauly-boy. You are the HEAD of this company and responsible for the people you hire. Apparently they are idiots.
I’m just amazed that people really think Logan changed after the Japanese forest incident. 🤨
This is why I’m happy about all the combat sports he’s involved in, he seems like one of the few people who’s personally would be improved by CTE

“That’s it, I’m suing the guy who rightfully called me a scammer.”
Remember when you sue someone, there is discovery... Logan Paul you're done.
I’m not sure how the legal system works, but won’t this mean that Coffeezilla will be able to get his hands on all the information about what LP really knew through discovery? That ended up being the downfall of Amber Heard because suddenly all her crap was in the public domain.

I’m so glad amber heard fled and is never gonna return to Hollywood
@maryjane4432 It's a different situation to Alex Jones since Logan Paul is the one bringing the suit. Alex Jones was given a default judgment because he refused to comply with discovery (aka, he lost the trial by default because he refused court orders to provide discovery material, making a fair trial impossible). In this case, Logan is bringing the suit, so he could always just drop if he realizes he's going to have to provide damaging information on himself. Although if he does that, he opens himself up to a counter suit for malicious prosecution.
I would like to personally and sincerely apologize for liking any of the Paul brothers vine's back in 2013-2015 thus helping make them famous. Paul is like that crazy mother in law who deletes messages and cries to the other family members to get sympothy..
Not going to lie the idea of having unique eggs that hatch into unique animals sounds fun.
Oh wait, hold on a sec. Isn't that Pokémon?
I’m halfway through. Let me just check I understand this:
So Logan Paul THOUGHT UP the concept of CryptoZoo as a game using blockchain, selling tokens to people?
Then Logan Paul HIRED A TEAM of people to do all the actual development of his game idea?
Then Logan Paul used his huge online following (which earned him revenue) to PROMOTE his idea and encourage people to get involved?
But now Logan Paul is claiming that he did not in fact SCAM anyone, even though the entire thing does now look very much like a SCAM?
So he’s trying to claim credit for the idea and formation of the development team, but also wants to claim to be the white knight just trying to do the right things and save everyone from the bad people who did the bad things - the people he personally hired to develop HIS OWN IDEA?
Have I got that wrong?
Jeez, these people just don’t know when to stop. Pretty rich of LP to highlight CZ using the story to earn revenue on social media, when he himself was doing exactly the same thing when promoting his ‘brilliant’ idea…
Imho
He is making the argument that he got scammed as well and therefore is a victim too lmao. Someone else commented that if you get together with a group of people and rob a bank and those people just withhold your cut of the money from you it’s still true you robbed the bank lol.
how does someone become so out of touch with reality? Scam people and then turn around and sue the people that are questioning the scam?
Ah President Trump has made an entire career doing exactly that.
By being rich.
They are called narcissists.
That's what narcissists do.
poor logan, he still hasn't figured out the 10-million-dollar studio is just a CGI backdrop LOL
Wait... Why is Logan going after Coffee? If that whole story of bad actors is true, wouldn't his first response before the 3 part expose be, "Stop buying Cryptozoo! It's flawed! I've been scammed! I'm suing the 'bad actors (of whom I hired), and I'll keep you posted"? Instead he's being a blameless baby crying because someone caught him with his hands in the cookie jar and can only point with his mouth full and his fingers covered in cookie dust?
Why scamming isnt taken as bank robbery.. its the same thing
