I needed this today. I'm crying. I've been dealing with state taxes today for my business as a whole (not just my etsy) but it's been so frustrating, and realized that its from something I didn't know I was suppose to do. It just broke me today. I've been crying for hours just trying to decided what to do, ready to just give up entirely. But all of your comments remind me that I should be so proud of the four years I've put in, I should be proud of the returning customers I have, I should be proud of myself for all the work I put in. I just needed to hear it from other small business owners. It really hit home, and helped me realize I have to keep going.
Thank you all who gave your own solid unique thoughts and tips! As someone whose really passionate about my art and what I make, its reassuring to hear what's possible 👌🏻
This was great! Loved hearing thoughts and insights of other sellers, and reaping their great advice. Thank you Starla, and crew. Wishing continued success to all.
Great video, thanks! When it comes to listing frequency on Etsy, opinions vary. Some advocate for quickly adding numerous listings to enhance your shop, while others prefer a more measured approach of one listing per day. From your experience, what approach do you find most effective for creating listings on Etsy?
I would love to know what Etsy tips are available for Canadians where localization and shipping speed is a factor in being seen by US customers. I am not complaining (been there, done that), just really looking at ways to get in front of US customers as a new POD shop. Should I drive my own traffic to my Etsy listings. I hear Etsy ads are set up for localization as well. Any tips, tricks, advice? What would you do as a new POD seller living in Canada and trying to get in front of US buyers on Etsy? There must be other international sellers who would love to know as well, but there just isn't any solid info out there that I can find. I wonder if it is even worth it for Canadians at this point, and that is fine; I just want to know in order to move forward. Thanks!
I'm so excited about HAA! I had thought about investing into an embroidery software (for the same price), since I make plushies. But once I learned more about HAA, I decided it's better to invest in myself. I know I have a good product (with a touch of imposter syndrome) and I know there's room to improve. I actually learned about you from a member of Goimagine last year. Since I've been watching your videos and Friday Bean, I have confidence that I'm going to learn a lot from HAA.XD
@@StarlaMoore I really think that with you and Jon working together, that you guys can really help Goimagine noticed. I haven't sold a lot yet, but I believe in the platform and the community. What other platforms can sellers say that they are actually a part of something they have say and input? Besides the vetting application, the Handmade Integrity Team(HIT) works to keep it handmade. The customer service is unmatched and the community jumps in to help when they can too. I only volunteer on the HIT, and I've only been there since July of last year, but I believe it's worth the wait. And the fact that Jon will be a part of HAA is exciting too!
HAA is not catered to any specific niche, as I teach a foundational knowledge of marketing psychology, SEO, funnel building, and brand psychology, which can be applied to any product. There will not be information specifically tailored for POD, but the lessons taught are universal. I'm a POD seller as well. We have tons of successful POD sellers in HAA. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to let me know!

Is this course more geared towards handmade products, or POD items as well?
