They literally made a song for a 1 minute part of the game, this shows the dedication of the developers for this title was strong. Even after 9 years, I'd still recommend Human Revolution for anyone new to Deus Ex. This title was in my personal opinion better than the previous one.

Each generation blaming the next for its own choices and consequences. Now we have surveillance states, robot dogs, attack drones, internment camps, analytical AIs, deepfakes both visual and auditory, and sanctioned segregation. It sounds like a nightmare, but we still have the chance to stop it from becoming fully actualized.

It was meant as a joke but now with 2022 and the whole things happening the world of HR and Deus Ex doesn't seem fictional. We are lied by the news, some shady people are pulling strings and shifting their agendas, there are wars, shortages, society is divided by meaningless topics and ideologies, a virus is going around, privacy is becoming a luxury and corporations are doing their own thing. Quite the dystopia and even worse since we won't get an Adam Jensen to save the world.
@@Spirit901 DXHR is a great game but it's not even close to the original. The first DX is easily top 3 game for me and I've been playing games for over 25 years now. It had the depth most game cannot even scratch today.

I remember being struck by Adam from the first moment. He wasn't a hard-man grunt or a rich fopp. He was organising corporate security for a meeting at the UN. Really great writing and portrayal. Combined with this atmosphere, I think we were all hooked. A new spin on an old archetype.
I was actually kinda shocked by his voice... In all the images that I've seen him idk why I didn't think his voice would be like that 😂 I got used to it eventually of course.

He's been helplessly strung along by forces beyond his control time and again... Being invested in discovering the puppet strings along with Jensen himself is part of what makes these games so compelling!

Deus Ex, has the single best soundtrack in gaming. Original, HR, and MD, are all amazing, I listen to it non-stop during my work. During summer, during winter, during Autumn, it fits all seasons.
This track and the atmosphere of the intro is so touching and heartwarming. Like Adam is taking the last minutes of normal life, where his biggest challenge is his past bitter traumatizing relationships. The very last minutes before the storm.

I think the time for completing the intro of the game was 10 min at least. Instead of that I spent hours in the Megan´s office, imagine the time I spent completing the campaign (with DLC)...
