The game that got me into science/biotech. 11 years later I'm doing my first postdoc in Japan.
*starts game*
"wtf is glial tissue? wtf is a peptide?"
*11 years later...*
You are the person I wanted to be when I was young, at the end I wasn't able to do it but at least Deus Ex opened my mind in a lot of ways and made me fall in love with the genre
Wow that's serious influence, congratulations
Congrats🎉
The game also inspired me to get a degree in biomedical engineering. Now I work for a big, multinational health tech corporation.
Man the internet has become a better place because of you

I can't even describe the amazing nostalgia that hit me at 0:18... I never asked for this...
...but I'm sure glad as hell I got to have it anyway.
Is it from Deus Ex 1? Haven't played that one in years
Maybe it sounds stupid, but this makes me miss playing the game 8 years ago so much, it actually hurts. Maybe it's just that I don't enjoy games as much now as I did back then. Anyway, thank you so much for posting all this amazing music
For me games had a much better focus on their atmosphere from the late 90s up to 2012. The music combined with the art style felt like their was much more passion put into the game projects. I am saying this regardless of the gameplay as well. The original Deus Ex as well as Human Revolution and Mankind divided all standout heavily from an atmospheric perspective. You can launch those games and almost instantly feel like you are there. It's the same effect games like Mass Effect 1 had when you first booted up the game and created your character.
I just tried this game last week for nostalgia's sake.
My god, never imagined to have this much fun replaying this.
Might even try the old dishonored again who knows
games were made better back then, everything now is made to emulate mobile F2P titles. Shallow gameplay with a hideous character roster and loads of MTX. Atmosphere and art direction are not even considered and are usually copied.
For quite a few years, I thought the same. I thought it was that they used to make the game better... but it turns out I have changed. I'm older, more mature, more overloaded with responsibilities, run down, and overstimulated with dopamine from the phone... So when I sit in the evening to the game of choice, I have limited patience for stuff that break immersion, potholes, mediocre gameplay. I either get Elden Ring level of experience or I get bored, and I can't get into the zone.
Absolutely love the series and everything about it, especially the music. Wonderful work you've done here, subbed based on this video series alone.
- jeasus crist you killed him man!
- he asked for it. kept calling me a biggot.
-no way, no way, i am NOT going to prison for this!
...
-i'm telling you man, those hanzer-lovers deserve what's coming to them.
I'm glad not just I remember :)
@@silentspade310 I dont remember... Shit, gonna have to replay now!
@@Bradley_UA XD
This is probably my favorite music piece from the entire game. Fortunately they put it on the OST.
Goosebumps and sheer nostalgic joy at 1:05....
What song is this theme referring to. I can't recall. ;^;
@@Dflowen if it's referring to anything it's probably an original Deus Ex song, I never thought it was referring to anything but maybe you're on to something.
@@Dflowen UNATCO?
@@girlcrazyrockstar yeah its an original it couldn't be UNATCO theme. I know that one is on another track.
@@Dflowen i think it's Hell's Kitchen music but I'm not sure
My first playthrough, I fooled around so much looking in every door, desk, etc, ignoring calls to go here, by the time I got to the people trapped, the gas bomb had went off long ago and they were already dead.
i like this Game alot the parts of mankind divided and human revolution there is something there like you are part of the game
the moment i play i feel like iam there the music the colors the 3d assets all of it
wow
i mean really there is something about the music the scenes adam's home the decoration of the wholething

Oh my God, Adam! It's a bomb!
A bomb!
I'll take the GEP gun.
Welcome to coalition PROD
That makes me one ugly son of a bitch.
My vision is augmented.
get outta there!
Human Revolution soundtracks just give me a sense of fear and sadness. Like, why do we continue to build these machines when they are taking us nowhere good?
Surprisingly one of my favourite levels in the game. Doing a stealth run for this level with this ambient track in the background was so chill.
Such an amazing track!
DE:HR deserve a remaster
I just absolutely loved this game when it came out. 10 years old soon I really need to replay it.
The atmosphere is amazing!
This is my favorite game hands down. And the music has a lot to do with it
Assemble with your buddies in front of the working desk for a picture and say "Typhoooooooon"
Talk about atmosphere
Thanks a lot for this!
Great stuff.
bout to play the game for a fifth time cause of these vids
WHERE'S THE BOMB SQUAD?
So glad I discovered this channel, an immediate like and sub from me. I cannot get enough of the Deus Ex universe and this makes it all the better.
0:21 adely down
25 chapter CMIIW.. finished for more than 7 days.. the ending still give me goosebumb, and the post-credit scene still haunts me. Poor Adam
Try listening to this while studying guys.
Cyberpunk 2077 was a let down shame but deus ex is the way to go. Best Gaming ever go deus Ex
In case you're interested: XCOM Enemy Unknown has EXACTLY SAME music by the same composer, Michael McCann. Just listen to the main menu track.
This is the music I hear in my head whenever I'm crawling through man sized vents
👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤Люблю эту игру до сих пор. Иногда прохожу по новой 😊😊
After day 2..I think i like "Deus Ex: Human Revolution" OST even Better than "Game of the Year"..Thanks Gaming Ambience. 💪
Bought my 1st Desktop PC in 2003, "Game of the Year" came with it, played thru All 5 different endings. (keyboard only) in one word: G E N I U S.
hmm, thanks for a video!
which skills i need to creat like this designe
Forget about it, if you don't know what it takes then it already suggests that you lack the prerequisite skills to become a programmer or even a gamedesigner.
how about sarif industries ambience before the attack?
That's from a scripted in-game scene, so it's kinda hard to make anything of it :(
well, thank you for your work anyway
Time to code
