If you are going for a look that will last you a long time just go for the actual steel look since the only other look you can go for is PU paint and that is not scratch resistant.

You can go for acrylic shutters and have some good lights positioned to face the kitchen. It will provide an illusion of depth, hence giving a sense a spaciousness .

Hey Sravani. When it comes to bright and glossy cabinets with decent durability acrylic is a good finish. Was about to finalise btw acrylic & lacquered for the kitchen. As you mentioned in one of the comments below, acrylic is more durable compared to lacquered wanted know the technical reason behind it. High-gloss acrylic and high-gloss laminate are both suitable for kitchens. Since both of them are 1mm thick sheets they are durable and have decent scratch resistance.

Hello Debahuti. When it comes to durability laminate is way more durable than PU. Scratch resistance of the PU finish is very low. The sheen and reflection of PU finish is better but the durability is low. Hence I would suggest that you should go for laminate finish.
You can use auto-paint but acrylic is a a better finish. But why are you taking PVC for shutters? Since it is very difficult to get a good finish on PVC boards.

Your channel looks delicious. The acrylic finish has a better look but the gloss laminate will last you longer and is less expensive as well. For the size of your kitchen, the gloss laminate will look great in the wall cabinets. I would suggest adding just a few glass shutters in the wall cabinets.

The companies that you have mentioned have a national wide sourcing. Other acrylic companies are not making 2mm thick sheets yet. I am curious as to why you are choosing 2mm thick acrylic sheet?

Hey Sumaiyah! Acrylic is better in longevity and looks but is more expensive than UV. In the case of UV the scratch resistance is good but the look is a little less reflective than Arcylic. But if you have a small kitchen you can go for UV. The look of Arcylic is more pronounced in larger kitchens that receive direct sunlight.
The finishes have been mentioned from the most economical to the most expensive. We cannot mention specific brands because they vary from region to region.

Hi, we can not recommend specific brands since different regions have different companies catering to them. Plywood over HDHMR is the best option since the surface it completely smooth you will not getting any indents or orange peel effect.

Are you choosing greenlam plywood or HDHMR as the base of your shutters? I would suggest that you should go for acrylic finish on HDHMR for mirror like gloss finish and longevity.

In the home furniture if you dont have pets or small children that can scratch the furniture and price is not too much of a hinderance then you can go for PU. If you want a textured combination then you can go for laminates. If you are going for a modern straight line look, acrylic is a good option. But all this will depend on the theme of your home as well.
This really depends on the availability of vendors in your area. The acrylic sheet must be 1mm thick and the lacquered glass should not have any paint lines.
I have tried solid colour merino Mr+ tuff gloss laminate on sovereign 710 plywood. Results are pathetic. Full of waves, uneven surfaces etc. Don't know if it was glue issue or plywood. Any suggestion on how to make perfect pasting of glossy laminate for even reflection. Hope you understand what I mean. Thanks in advance.
Should be gloss laminate under the slab (Scratch resistant,cheaper comparatively) .. and Acrylic over head boxes( Lesser scratch resistant and costlier)
Hi Rupli. The colour combination depends on many factors like flooring, counter-top, backsplash etc. It would be better if the designer that you have hired helps you with it.

The kitchen should be good for 8 years . Generally the UV tesa shutters gets scratches a bit easily and if you use the kitchen a bit harshly these shutters will show scratches pretty soon. Life of a kitchen depends a lot on how you maintain it. Will be doing a video on that too.
@@praveengarg894 You can go for club prime of century plywood or green plywood for a life of 20 years plus. HDHMR generally lasts for 10 years plus easily if the kitchen is maintained properly and can go upto 15 years also, if there is no water leakage ,moisture seeping from the walls and rotting food items.

Hello Saif. It is very difficult to mention the average pricing for standard kitchen sizes because they vary from brand to brand and the shutter material used as well.
That depends on the look of the room but be warned that the top of the table needs to be scratch resistant hence if you go for a glossy finish you might want to top it with glass.
Since there is not a lot of heavy storage that happens in the wall units one can opt for the PU finish. Of all the gloss finishes PU has the brightest reflection and hence a great decorative finish.
Lacquered acrylic glass can be a thicker acrylic sheet. Normal acrylic sheets have a thickness of 1mm, the lacquered (they are just called that) ones are 2mm thick giving it a look similar to that of lacquered glass.

One of the finishes that is the most scratch resistant is gloss laminate. But if you want to go for a brighter look, acrylic is good too. There are acrylics with better scratch resistance in the market now.
Pre-lam MDF means laminated MDF board. It is not recommended to paint on it, the paint quality will not come out to be good. Generally people paint on one side Laminated MDF. ( Paint to be applied on non laminated side of MDF)
First of all kindly take a small microphone to hear clear ....secondly u didn't say PU is scratch resistant or not n which is the best product to use ....
The costing can vary significantly because of the material on which these finishes are done. Hence we cannot give you a per square feet costing. But the finishes have been discussed in the order of most economical to most expensive.
As mentioned in the video Paint or PU paint has a great sheen and reflection but very low scratch resistance and is expensive. Hence we do not recommend this finish for kitchen cabinets if it os your primary kitchen or a rough use kitchen.
Prices can wary too much because of the brand and the vendor that you choose hence cant provide the square feet price. But the cost effective to expensive finish in comparison is in the order it has been discussed.

Generally frosty white is a good option because it does not become dirty easily.

The base wood should have flat surface, hence MDF or HDF works best.

Different regions have different brands available hence I cannot pinpoint a particular one. You just need to make sure the thickness is 1mm or more.

The costing can vary significantly because of the material on which these finishes are done. Hence we cannot give you a per square feet costing. But the finishes have been discussed in the order of most economical to most expensive.

As mentioned in the video Paint or PU paint has a great sheen and reflection but very low scratch resistance and is expensive. Hence we do not recommend this finish for kitchen cabinets if it os your primary kitchen or a rough use kitchen.

Prices can wary too much because of the brand and the vendor that you choose hence cant provide the square feet price. But the cost effective to expensive finish in comparison is in the order it has been discussed.
