The amazing vocals of Asami are showcased here. An emotionally charged and lyrical masterpiece by any standard. A true ballad that shows just how versatile and uniquely talented these ladies are throughout. I'll never get tired of listening to them, they just get better and better it's crazy 🤘🎤🎸🎹🥁🐺
Very much a retro vibe. Midori (Light hair) & Miyako (Dark hair) play so effortlessly and seamlessly. It's phenomenal how tight they are and the entire band is as a whole.
Another epic masterpiece from the ladies. The band's influences are pretty varied, from Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, Helloween, to Metallica, Slayer, etc... So primarily NWOBHM, American thrash, classical music, etc... Here're 2 clips from a metal/rock program in Japan called Rock Fujiyama (with English subs.). The first part is about Midori (lead guitarist at stage right) : ua-cam.com/video/PjJioJ0C-U4/v-deo.html . The second part is about Miyako (lead guitarist at stage left) : ua-cam.com/video/8z2f3NHdDDE/v-deo.html . They both talk about their guitar influences which will give you a good idea of what their overall influences are. "Edge of the World" LIVE should be the third "E" : ua-cam.com/video/UZjxMjBop7w/v-deo.html
I concur, these are very interesting videos to watch, one or two choices that surprised me a little. The interviewers include Marty Friedman, not a bad guitarist himself lol 😃
This song reminds me of The Scorpions "Still Loving You". I also hear some Eagles "Hotel California" towards the end. Lovebites influences are basically everything. It gives their songs a familiar foundation to build on.
M&M Midori(Crazy Shredder, Blonde)(Influences,Nuno Bettencourt & Yngwie Malmsteen) and Miyako (Golden Touch, Brunette)Influences Guitar Ritchie Blackmore and Gary Moore. Piano Chopin, Drvorik, and Rachmaninov Haruna (Little Big Engine, Drums) Loves Helloween Asami (The one and only Voice,Singer)Sang R&B Alicia Keyes Fami (Shiny Fingers,Current Bassist)not sure I suspect F. Chopper Koga and Misa (Band Maid) and Miho (Lovebites before she joined) Miho (Natural Headbanger, Ex Bassist and Founder)Her Idol Steve Harris bass/founder Iron Maiden.
That was the right version of this song. On the album the 2 guitars just fade out at the end, so for this live version they added the Hendrix like solo for Midori to round it off. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
LOVEBITES - Epilogue lyrics: If you have never cried, your eyes can’t be so beautiful If you have never been hurt, you can’t feel the pain of others I will believe myself We’ll never be alone You will believe yourself We are the only ones If you have never failed, you cannot be happy for success If you have never loved, you cannot feel the love from others I will believe myself We’ll never be alone You will believe yourself We are the only ones, forever… SOLO: both / miyako Just the way you are Just the way you are Be the one you wanna be, with your own melody Just the way you are Just the way you are Love the song you sing Sing the song you love SOLO: both / midori ----- lyrics: asami music: asami & Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami) from Clockwork Immortality 2018
Rock and metal influences for them: Iron Maiden, Pantera, Motley Crue, Anthrax, Helloween, Kiko Loureiro, Nuno Bettencourt, Yngwie Malmsteen, Ritchie Blackmore, Deep Purple, Rainbow plus more. Asami influenced by Aretha Franklin and Alicia Keys and I am sure more.
@@evilvoltsAlso Brian May and Kirk Hammett for Miyako. She went to see Queen last year with her mum. And has done a few Metallica covers on her channel / instagram.
Haruna and Miyako have met with Helloween backstage at Helloween’s concert last year in Osaka. Helloween is Haruna’s favorite band and maybe even the reason why she started with metal drumming.
A new EP and also a Blu-ray will be released on August 28. „LOVEBITES EP II“ will also contain a re-recording of the debut „LOVEBITES EP“ in a limited edition „Memorial of the Warrior Souls“ is the recording of last years paid livestream which features 7 live versions from „Judgement Day“ album including „Soldier stands solitarily“
So glad you got to this one so quickly man. Thanks. You can hear the roots of Asami's voice from when she was a Soul and R&B singer in a cabaret lounge environment, before she joined Lovebites & went Metal. So when you've done the third 'E' song, (Edge Of The World), the next true masterpiece of theirs that I know you will absolutely love, when you react to it, is 'Frozen Serenade'. The audio & vision are both absolutely sublime. I'll preface it by saying that Asami studied Ballet for many years when she was younger. You'll see.
yes - you have done 2 of the 'E' songs - the 3rd being 'edge of the world. starts off like a ballad but does not stay that way. i would say one of their best but to me they all are . here is the link : ua-cam.com/video/UZjxMjBop7w/v-deo.html
The guitars have a Gary Moore (rip) feel, of which is btw one of Miyakos (right) favorite guitarists..Midori (left).. "M&M".. Check out M.D.O(live) and masterpiece " Frozen Serenade" (w/lyrics)
I hope the links I sent were helpful. Nice reaction to basically their only straight-up Ballad. The last E, Edge of the World features Asami's voice at it's very best. The 2020 version is better than the 2019.
This power ballad is a masterpiece and it showcases Asami’s vocals. Yes, these women are just phenomenal.
Garry Moore vibs in this one.

Very emotional song. I hope they do more like this in the future.
I even could imagine liking a full EP only with ballads
Very much a retro vibe. Midori (Light hair) & Miyako (Dark hair) play so effortlessly and seamlessly. It's phenomenal how tight they are and the entire band is as a whole.
It's amazing.
One of Miyako's influences - which is VERY obvious in this song - is the late , great Gary Moore

@@tonym480 Yep, especially Miyako. When I first watched these, I was a bit surprised she didn't mention Gary Moore or Ritchie Blackmore.
Asami nailed it, A legendary vocalist. 🎤
ESTA EPICA BALADA ME ENCANTA‼️

Thanks for watching and commenting 🤘
great sir,
another masterpiece of Lovebites,
just imho,
I've seen Gary Moore and Prince dueling... 😊
So good!
This song reminds me of The Scorpions "Still Loving You".
I also hear some Eagles "Hotel California" towards the end.
Lovebites influences are basically everything. It gives their songs a familiar foundation to build on.
You're right. Still Loving You vibes in this song 👍
That's it. I kept trying to figure out what it reminded me of. Thanks
I can hear Jimi Hendrix at the end, LOL. Not my favorite part, but I got used to it...
"Still Loving You", that's a great hint!

I think, it was "Shining Fingers" on the shirts for Fami (not "Shiny")...

This song reminds me of still loving you by the scorpions. Another master piece. Great reaction!
It does

I hear some scorpions reference from this song especially in the solo part both from miyako and midori... I might be wrong 😬✌️
I do too
